Bareville Flooring & Tile

Went well although a bit pricy.

Bareville was the third of three contractors who gave us an estimate. Valerie Kissinger came out to look at the work and to give us an estimate. We had already made tile and back splash choices and she gave us an estimate based on those. Bareville was not our first choice. However after an unsatisfactory experience with another contractor we decided to go out to the Bareville showroom. Valerie met with us and gave us other options to choose from. Valerie was very patient and helpful. She was mindful of our budget and at the same time the showroom had a really nice variety of samples. She gave us price comparisons and did side-by-side estimates of each product involved in the remodel. She was very helpful. Furthermore, we were able to use an Angie's list discount which brought the price down. Once we signed with Bareville we went to Hojoca to choose a sink and a faucet. After that Jim from Bareville coordinated the sub-contractors who were doing the install with our plumber and set the dates. We were very happy that the work could be done very quickly after signing the contract. The re-model was done with very little disruption. The sub-contractors were professional and everything was done just as Jim had scheduled. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and would go back to Valerie and Bareville for other remodeling projects. Incidently, Bareville's price ended up being about $3000 less than our first choice contractor's. We are glad we made the switch.

He is currently looking for the matching flooring. The other vendors I contacted insisted I needed a new floor. Burt told me otherwise. he was very professional and courteous.

This was the most un professional delivery of services that I have ever had to deal with. The timing was mis managed, dates were given and not honored. Services were promised and not delivered.

It was fine. We liked the pricing. We were pleased with everything.

They gave us good advice. Their professionalism was fine. We were just gathering information and to see what they had to offer.

They used sub-contractors. There were some performance issues that we weren't satisfied with. We hired them because they promised they would coordinate the work. At the end we thought we would have been better off ourselves to coordinate everything. We might still use them for their own work.

It was fine. They were prompt. They did exactly what they said they would do and on budget. I've used them 2 other times.

He is very good. He is honest. He will save you money by doing something different. He has been doing this for a long time. We have use them for a couple times. We would recommend him.

They are outstanding. When we first moved in they replaced all the carpet and tile. They also put hardwood in the entry and dining room and slate in kitchen and mud room. They stand behind their product. They are customer service oriented. Derry Weaver is a dream to work with and a dreamboat. They work within your budget. We won't go to another company.

It went very well. The job was done well. It was good quality and on budget. They had good workmanship.

I can only describe my experience having my flooring installed as unprofessional. The measuring was done "in record time" only to find out he didn't do it properly and there was not enough material to finish the job properly, only later did we find out the material that was needed was no longer available so we had to compromise on finish pieces. The installer was completely inexperienced in the job of installing a laminate floor and was unable to even complete the job around my bi-fold doors and patio door. He used a nail gun to attach the 1/4 round molding to hold the floor down and left huge holes in it that required spackle before painting. Also he was unable to unhook/rehook the icemaker, thankfully my husband was able to do it. Before he left I asked what was the plan for the huge "gap" between the floor and the base of the doors and he said, "I dunno, maybe you could caulk it". WHAT!!! Since the transition pieces were no longer available, remember they were not ordered properly the first time, the flooring manager tried to "make due" with pieces he purchased and stained to match the floor. They were the complete wrong material and the surface was rough, completely unlike the floor and the 1 piece of transition that did match the floor. So at that point Bareville considered the job complete. I had 5 transition areas and 3 different un-matching pieces. On my own I was able to find pieces that matched the floor and they finally did get installed. It took 3 months for my floor to be finished. I don't suggest you EVER allow anyone from this company to do any work in your home, you have been warned, consumers beware.

Outstanding work in all aspects of the work. Removal of old flooring was done completely, and disposal was also handled as part of the project. Installation of the hardwood floor required skill and artistry to make an outstanding appearance from the relatively small boards comprising our product selection. New trim was installed, rather than attempting to recycle the old edge trim, as some installers do. The carpet installation is flawless; no visible seams, very tight installation on stairs, and consistently clean edges around all perimeters.
