QUALITY BUILDERS WARRANTY CORPORATION

This warranty company never sent a representative to inspect the issue with our kitchen island. They sent the builder who continued with the stance that the shaking of our kitchen island is normal. The warranty company advises you can pay $1250 to move into arbitration. This might be an option if a neutral party investigated the issue, but this had not occurred. A warranty from this company is worthless. They protect only the builder, not the home owner.

We were having issues with the home builder, trying to resolve the wood flooring installation in our home. We contacted Quality Builders hoping they would help resolve the issue. They instead asked us to pay $1000 for Arbitrators and additional charges for their travel expenses. This clearly was a low, easy way to deter us from proceeding. For those considering purchasing home warranty from Quality Builders, its just a waste of money.

First our roof shingles blew of because our roof was constructed with poor quality plywood. We were told the underlying plywood on the roof isn't covered, it's not structural & that we need to have the roof repaired ourselves which means removing shingles & putting down plywood that is up to code and correct. Last night in a rain storm we found a gushing hole in the foundation of our exterior concrete stairwell, the water is pouring in the stairwell from underground. We were told again that it is not covered and unless the new home is unlivable and dangerous they will do nothing for us. Remember this is a newer home, things like this should not be happening to our home in such a short time. In short this company will fix nothing for you unless the home unlivable and dangerous. QBW is a useless warranty, and you should stay away from new homes that use this company for their new home warranty.
