The preparation for a new generator evolved over 4 separate visits because we had to figure out which of the apx 75 circuits were most important in a power outage; then make a plan for the rewiring at times when the business was closed so the computers were not needed. We had originally engaged Loews in a proposal for the new generator but did not like the contract Loews offered which involved pay them up front, they would subcontract the work, and they were no longer guaranteeing the work. Instead Weldok identified which generator size and product made sense for us; located a licensed installer who would guarantee his work, met with them and managed the installation with that other company. We had a wonderful experience for a very complex need that Weldok managed. For smaller jobs, he does all the work himself. For example when our ceiling fan died after 10 years, He installed the new one which offered an option of a remote control device so that from our bed, we can turn the light and adjust the fan from off, too low, medium and high. That job he did on his own and he has for replacing fixtures, replacing bad outlets and other similar electrical repairs. The most expensive work was apx $750. The least was free.
Description of Work: I have called on Weldok Elecric many times for electrical repairs both in our home based business andour home. The largest job he did was help us adjust our wiring to inside in order to enable an electric generator to be installed outside that would provide power back ups for 500 amps out of the 1500 amps the business and home normally have available. This invoived reconnect the electrical circuits to feed all the essential power into on box. Jack is patient, knowledgeable, courteous and neat both in his proposal and the actual work he does. His pricing is always fair and several times he refused to charge when he felt the job was outside his own area of expertise. .. He has helped us fix many other problems as they naturally emerged over the last 5 years. I trust his judgement and his sense of fair pricing.
