Dan arrived early and got to work right away starting with the roof and exterior of my house. When it was time to inspect inside the house, he changed shoes before walking around inside, which I really appreciated. He was great in answering all of my questions and pointing out things to be aware of. I received his detailed report the same night. The report was easy to understand and contained pictures of everything. I definitely would recommend Peach Inspections to others and will use them again if needed.

Dan identfied some electrical issues that I followed up with my electrician. More flattering than my assessment of Dan's thoroughness- the electrician complemented the level of detail of the inspection and thought that it might have cost 3x what Dan charged! Dan is excellent.

Everything went as smooth as one would hope for. The scheduling, inspection and report were complete and professional, great group of people.

This is the second time I've used Peach Inspections, the first being in 2004 when I bought my first house. Both times, Dan performed the inspection. Both times, I arrived at the house to find Dan already on the roof, inspecting vent pipes, chimneys, windows, and roofing materials (and taking pictures of everything from rotted seals to discolored shingles). Eventually, after concluding the roof inspection and detailing his findings to me, we walked around the property inspecting the exterior of the house. Dan was very detailed in his inspections, checking all features of the exterior (siding, dryer vent, HVAC components, vents, and exhausts, hose bibs, foundation cracks, deck construction, drainage issues, etc.). Again, he took pictures of both good and bad features of the house, and explained not only what things were good/bad, but WHY they were that way. We then went into the garage and basement, and inspected all of the features of construction. Additionally, Dan took the time to completely describe the HVAC unit, the water heater, the water softener, and the plumbing to me, detailing both the correct features and the incorrect features of the system. He was also very careful to check behind all insulation and other obstacles to check for problems. All issues were captured with digital camera pictures. Occasionally, Dan would stop the inspection to update his findings on his laptop, which he set up in the kitchen. This may seem like an unessecary time consuming step, but the key here is that at the end of the inspection, you are handed the completed results immediately. Well worth it. Dan went on to inspect the attic, individual rooms, just about every single outlet for proper wiring, the bathrooms for good plumbing and floor/wall rot, etc. Again, taking pictures of almost EVERYTHING, and explaining everything he observed. Lastly, Dan inspected the first floor rooms such as the kitchen and living rooms. Again, almost (if not all) of the outlets were checked for proper wiring (and to make sure all GFCI's were functional, etc.). He checked all of the major appliances for operation, as well as checking the plumbing in the kitchen (and finding things as small as missing a wiring clamp on the bottom of the garbage disposal). At the conclusion of the inspection, Dan printed out a 30+ page report with pictures and technical descriptions of all the suspect areas he observed (which he also sent to me as a digital file in an email after the inspection). As I stated above, this was my second inspection with Peach (both performed by Dan), and I couldn't be happier with both. I can't really comment on their price, as I never quoted anybody else, but I can say that I would easily pay double for the accuracy they provided regarding my first house, and the peace of mind I am getting for my next house. I was shocked at how thorough the inspection was and how professional Dan was. It was like a college level course on my home-to-be. Our realtor with over 30 years experience had never worked with Dan or Peach and mentioned that this was the most comprehensive and thorough inspection he's ever witnessed. I learned so much. I would obviously recommend this company but additionally would strongly recommend for anyone who uses them to be present during the inspection and learn from Dan as he checks out ever square inch of the home. Just the knowledge of learned what and how repairs should be done was worth far more than the price alone. I also priced out about 6 other inspection companies and found Peach's rates to be among the most affordable.

By the time I arrived for the inspection (a bit early), Dan had already begun the roof inspection. He was patient and thorough with me on the walkthrough because I am not handy and had no idea of some of the things he spoke of. I chose this company on my realtor's recommendation and because they give an electronic report which I could easily share with others for feedback. I would use Peach again without hesitation.

BEN GROMICKO WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH. HE TOOK GREAT CARE TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING THAT HE FOUND AND HOW THINGS WORKED. WHILE ON-SITE, HE CREATED AN EXCELLENT REPORT ABOUT HIS FINDINGS AND SUGGESTIONS FOR THE HOME. HE GAVE MY REALTOR AND I A PAPER COPY OF THE REPORT THAT INCLUDED ACTUAL PICTURES TAKEN DURING THE INSPECTION AND HE GAVE ME A CD OF THE REPORT WITH ALL THE PICTURES AND VIDEO TAKEN. AS A SINGLE WOMAN BUYING A HOME FOR THE FIRST TIME, BEN DID NOT SPEAK DOWN TO ME AND WAS WILLING TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS. BILL WAS ON TIME AND WAS CAREFUL TO KEEP THE HOUSE CLEAN AS HE WORKED.
