Mr. Inch and associate arrived at the scheduled time and began work. They completed the work and cleaned up work areas. The placement of their ladders and foot traffic were not good for some late season plants (they will grow back next year).

Randy was quick to return my call and was eager to come out to review the location for an estimate. He and his team were able to describe what they wanted to do, including some work other contractors didn't mention when providing estimates, provided the best quote for the services to be rendered, and repaired my porch to my expectations. The only minor issue that I had was the timeliness of arrival to perform the work. Over the phone, I was told that the repair would begin between 8-9 am. There was apparently a change in those plans, which would've been fine but I was never informed of that, and the team was not present until noon. I was thoroughly pleased with the work performed and would rehire for future needs!

Work on closing hole in wall perfectly matches wall due to using existing bricks on property. Mortar used to repair paver walkway was not exact match and repairs are very noticeable. Still have moss on patchy areas of paver walkway, which was supposed to be power washed and cleaned.

Randy and his son did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

Good price, but not great professionalism. Okay job. Hired to replace mortar on two sides of house. Was unapologetically late first day and then proceeded to blow silica all over neighborhood. Had to request they use dust-control measures, which they did and rest of job went fine except for some punctures in a metal awning over my back porch, which were negligible but should have been reported to me rather than my finding it out. Overall, the lack of professionalism makes me disinclined to recommend.

Randy and assistant were scheduled to arrive at 9 am, but they did not arrive until 11:30am. We are unable to see how the chimney repair turned out, since my husband is an amputee and I can't climb on the roof. The caulking looks okay on the sidewalk and patio.

He came out, saw what work needed to be done. He emailed me with an estamate, it wasn't complete. I emailed back and asked him to complete it and to let me know what portion of the deal would be included. He emailed me back to explain what portion the deal would cover, but didn't complete the estimate. I told him that I was going out of town and asked if we could get together when I got back in town and asked again for an updated estimate. I have attempted to contacted him twice since I got back and haven't heard anything back. I am getting a refund through Angie's List for this deal.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Mr Inch and the crew worked very carefully and thoroughly to overhaul our almost forty year old chimney. Mr Inch was very pleasant to work with and the crew were very kind and professional and knowledgeable. We were concerned with them having to work with scaffolding on our newly installed shingled roof, but they were very careful. Our chimney looks brand new (and no longer leaks)! The entire job took about a week, with them having to break because it was either rainy or windy, but each day, the crew showed up PROMPTLY and got right to work. We were also so impressed with their willingness to climb up to the chimney each day--we estimate it was over thirty feet up in the air. Awesome work. I would not hesitate to hire Mr Inch and his crew again--in fact, we are looking forward to it.

Randy came out and had to talk to my wife about the cost as I had to go to function with my kid.. We found Randy through Angies list because he offered $300 worth of work for $150. He informed my wife it would be another $25 above the $150 because the brick needed support and it needed some extra supplies... We agreed and he was going to come out the next week.. Unfortunately PA weather is sketchy at best and it snowed and rained the day he was supposed to come out.. He did call and say he wouldn't make it and we rescheduled and again the weather was far too cold to do brickwork... On the third time the weather was good and the work completed and I am completely satisfied with the job... It looks.to last for another 100 years!.. I'd recommend Randy again and I have now noticed other brickwork I need done and plan to call in the near future.

It went really well. They worked efficiently, were neat, cleaned up after themselves.

This company is a professional all the way. They came and redid the chimney while I was not home. my neighbor s were so impressed with the way they did the job that they immediately hired him to do thier chimney.

Very professional and friendly response and job visit

The chimneys were old, probably original to the house, and both were deteriorated to the point where one was leaking water into the ceiling of a bedroom. Mr. Inch provided an estimate that was very reasonable. He was not able to perform the work for a few weeks due to existing jobs, and I agreed to wait until he was able to schedule the work. Once the appointment was scheduled, he showed up promptly and completed the job within the timeframe promised. I am very happy with his professionalism and the cost and quality of work.

They replaced the top portion of a chimney. It took about 4 hours to complete the job. That turned out very nicely. There were some extra costs involved with the extensive work. They were very punctual and responsive. They were also very willing to meet my time needs and they were very easy to work with. The work looked very nice.

They re-did our brick front steps. A great experience.

Mr. Inch responded quickly to my inquiry and made a visit within a few days to assess our needs and estimate cost and time frame. He called back within the promised time frame and made a firm appointment time to fix our problems. He arrived when promised and took care of our needs quickly and professionally. We have no complaints at all. We're very, very pleased with the service and the fix and would absolutely use him again. We especially appreciate the great service as our project was not a large one which would provide significant income for him. Although our project was small, it was still very important to us and he made us feel it was important to him too.

We signed up for a Big Deal through Angie's List with this company - $199 for $400 of masonry work. It took a while to get in contact (phone tag) but the mason then came out and checked out the 100+ year old wall. We'd been having water leak through the brick, and this was our big concern. Randy suggested that we do a larger area because it looked in bad shape, and quoted $1200 for an approximately 160 sq.ft. area (our best guess). He told us it would be about a month before he could start, which was fine (and accurate). The work was done well, though the 1.5 day estimate of work was more like 4.5 days. Other than the inevitable dust, they were very tidy. | |Minor qualms: |- we were asked to pay 1/2 up front, 1/2 on completion. Ok, that's fair. However, while this should have been $200/$600 ($200 already paid for Big Deal - $400 of service), we were charged $400/$400. Same total, I know, but I felt like an actual half would have been more appropriate - inclusive of prior payments - in the event the work had issues |-They were over 30 minutes late the first day, and had stated someone needed to be here. This caused issues with tardiness to work. At least a phone call would be nice.

I needed an inexpensive solution to fix up a chimney on a rental property. Randy Inch Masonry recommended scraping and sealing the block chimney rather than re stucco it. This saved me a huge amount of money and the end result was clean, smooth and waterproof. Very happy with them.

We scheduled an appointment for a Saturday morning for an estimate. He was to be at our home between 9 and 10. Finally I called at 10:30 and he said he was just getting breakfast and he knew he wouldn't be here on time and he would see us in a bit. No phone call or anything. I just said no thank you and that we would find someone else. Super bummed because he had great reviews from other folks.

Completely professional. Randy Inch Masonry did a great job. They did not get sloppy with the mortar. They started when he said they would and completed the job in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to call him again for future needs.

It took me 3 phone calls to get them to even come out to the house. When he did come out he did do quality work and I was satisfied with the end result. I paid for the big deal and he told me that he had not received the money yet and that I needed to pay him which I did. I later found out that he had been paid by angies list and had to call him to get my money back.
