I wouldn't call this company to do anything for me. They don't seem to care about actually taking on the work.

Everything was great, they're an A company.

Jim's pricing was good but not any different than two other cedar roofing companies. I went with them because I had confidence in their promise to do everything the right way. Started out great in January. Two experienced installers did great work. Weather delayed the completion and I completely understood. Then the weather got warmer and my installers were pulled off my job to do bigger more important jobs. I'd get a day here or there and it dragged on for 3 months. Finally in May they sent two guys who were not near as good as the original guys and they slapped 2 days work into one day. I had some important flashing details thrown together and the quality really suffered. When they left I climbed up to look at the chimney flashing and it was bad and not what we discussed he'd do. I called the installer Ed directly and he said he'd be back in a week, never came and never called me. 3 months later after a couple calls Jim sent Ed back to flash the chimney correctly. They pieced together a fix and he asked me sarcastically if I was "happy now". I gave them a "D" not an "F" because besides the 7 months it took to do 500 square foot of shakes, the beginning crew were good. But overall it was not a good experience. I'd spend my money somewhere else next time.

He's great - very prompt and thorough in his work.

CLEANED GUTTERS, HAD TO RETURN FOR SECTION MISSED, BUT DID SO PROMPTLY. POLITE AND REASONABLY PRICED.
