D LIBERATI CONCRETE

Not only does Liberati provide outstanding customer service, sales represetatives and work crew, the finished product is a well designed, sturdy, work of art. From first contact to last communiation of cost, someone is constantly keeping you in the loop as you progress from estimate, appointments, availibility, arranging the day of construction to the billing and ending of the project. The work crew were efficient, professional and very personable. Mr. Liberati is a hands-on owner and personally supervised the design and work. We could not believe the low cost for such high quality service.

Excellent. We were selling our house and needed work done . ( required by township)I talked with Lisa she was amazing . She guided me and my wife through whole Process and made it all possible to get everything done for the sale and in time. She went way above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how Amazing she was in helping us and keeping us updated . I have never had customer service like this in my life before. The work was done and it looks excellent! I would say to anyone looking for concrete work look no further!

D Liberati provided prompt service and a high quality of work. Communication was often rushed and disorganized, but they provided a clear quote and followed through during a very busy time of year.

It didn't go at all. I am cancelling the order.

Everything passed the township inspectors codes and was approved for settlement.

I called Liberati to replace curbs based on the reviews here and the fact he was doing this work for two homes in my neighborhood. We agreed on a time for him to come by for an estimate but I never saw him. I called Dino back and apparently he had driven by my home but decided not to stop to talk to me. I should have taken that as a sign but we agreed to a price and that he would have a crew out in 1-2 weeks. I called him back when no one showed up and he apologized and agreed to have someone out the following week. Despite telling him that he just needed to call me if things were delayed I would never hear back from Dino. This dragged on for another month of him apologizing and promising to send someone out the following week. I would have continued to be flexible on when the work could get done but he basically told me he doesn't want my business with his actions. It sounds like his real estate and business work are priorities and home owners get slotted in when he doesn't have any other work.

We needed a curb replaced to pass the township inspection for the purchase of our house. I called multiple contractors and found that Dino was the most reasonable. He provided us with the quote timely and had the work completed timely for the township to perform their reinspection before closing. He was always very friendly and professional on the phone. I plan on calling him in the near future for some other concrete work I am thinking about for other areas of my property.

Highly recommended! An excellent experience from start to finish. We were selling our house and needed to have this work done in accordance with Upper Darby Township specifications. We were working under a tight deadline, and the crew came the day after I contacted Dino Liberati. They did the prep work but couldn't pour the concrete because of threat of rain. The concrete crew was back within two days and finished the job. All members of the crew were professional, friendly, and explained what they were doing and when the driveway would be ready for use. A couple of hours after finishing the job, owner Dino dropped by to check the work. Like his crew, Dino is professional, cordial, and knows his business. He clearly sets the professional tone that characterizes the entire operation. Bravo guys - great work!

Although I had to wait a while for the service, Dino's guys did a nice job. They barricaded the area, removed the old concrete, and spent a lot of time finishing the new concrete. Not only did they placed expansion joints in the concrete, they added treads on the sloping section.

It took a while to get started because it was a very rainy season. Once started on day: 1. The old walkway was broken up and removed. Also the area for the new walkway was prepared. 2. The Code Inspector did an inspection and approved the job. 3. The cement was poured. Next few days the cement dried.

Dino and Robby arrived on time. They began work immediately after asking us some questions regarding our preferences. They were as nice as they were professional and the end product looks great!

This was one of the easiest transactions I've had in our whole project. Initial phone call on Monday (answered by a real person)...appointment set up for Tuesday...job completed by noon. Very clean work, thanks.

1. When you phone, you get a live person - Dino on his cell phone - unlike other companies, where you get an answering machine and end up playing phone tag. 2. Dino quoted me a reasonable price over the phone. As he was the first contractor I spoke with (see above), I told him that I could get back to him. 3. When I did get back to him and Dino realized that he was going to do other jobs near me, he voluntarily lowered my quote. 4. Job was done sooner than the time frame Dino had originally told me. 5. My only complaint, if you could call it that, is that Dino didn't phone the night before so that I could warn my neighbors whose driveway is close to the broken sidewalk block. I have a contentious relationship with them. Although I can't prove it, I believe that their truck is responsible for the sidewalk damage. Fortunately, the Liberati folks managed to work with the contentious neighbors and I did not get any nasty words about the lack of a warning. Great work! 6. The job was finished nicely and they left the site in a clean condition. 7. When they came the next day to pick up the sawhorse (left to keep people off the newly poured concrete), they took away their sign. While I have nothing against these advertising signs, I was pleased that I didn't have to remove it. 8. All told, Dino made this whole process rather painless. I would definitely recommend them!!

Job was done very well. Dino did a great job. I did not even realize I needed the additional step but now that it is complete what a difference! Dino cleaned the whole area after the work was complete. I did not have to do one thing except be grateful that I now have a tripping hazard

Contacted Liberati for estimate on repaving driveway, and they never contacted me.

I placed a call to D Liberati Concrete to get an estimate on replacing some concrete steps that were deteriorating and unsafe. Liberati came out to look at the steps and I had an estimate within a few days. After signing and returning the estimate, the staff was very responsive and helpful with additional questions I had regarding the stair railing and the work start date. They were reluctant to provide a start date. They explained that the weather played a big factor and that the work should be completed in 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks had passed without hearing from D. Liberati, I called again and talked to the staff, who told me that they would get to it in about two weeks. Once again, two weeks had passed and I had not heard anything, I attempted several phone calls, which were not returned and an email on 7/6 that was also never returned. I was finally able to speak with Lisa in the office on July 12th. Again, she said they would get to it within two weeks. Finally, in late September, after still not a word on when they will start the work, I sent an email cancelling the work. I found it completely unprofessional for D Liberati to act in this manner. I understand that a large portion of D Liberati's work comes from real estate transactions, which usually have a strict timeframe for completion. This work was not real estate related work, so perhaps he put us off for that reason. For whatever the reason they feel it unnecessary to complete the work, instead of stringing me along for over four months, it would have been much more appreciated if they would have been more realistic with a time frame for completion up front or just indicated that they were not interested in the work.

Our house is at the end of the row and the township sent a notice in January that we and our neighbor were responsible for repairing the concrete. It was difficult getting in touch with and negotiating with the neighbor and Mr. Liberati's staff helped facilitate that. We were getting separate estimates but wanted to hire the same contractor. Mr. Liberati impressed us with his experience and professionalism, so we and the neighbor both agreed to hire him. The work couldn't start until the spring and there were some communication issues along the way regarding when and how the work would be done. They did a high quality job and took care of all the cleanup. They set up barriers so no one could walk over or drive over the fresh concrete for the appropriate amount of time.

I had to replace two large concrete blocks leading from the street onto the driveway. I also had to replace the curbing. Dino Liberati told me when he would be over for the estimate, he showed up on time. I received a copy of his estimate in the mail, I signed it and sent it back. About four days later, two workers showed up and began breaking the concrete. Cement truck came the same day, job done!

I left a voice mail and sent a fax describing the work needed. They called back about a week later to discuss, quote, and schedule the job. This company is used extensively in this area and is known for it's quality work. I watched the workers do the job and they didn't mind my being there. They gave great attention to detail, especially around the drain pipe. I am extremely satisfied with the speed of scheduling and quality of the work. I believe the price was fair to good. As a comparison, I paid $1800 for 9 blocks in 2003, but the blocks were smaller than 4' x 4' and there was no curb replacement involved.
