We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Bill! The quality of his work was impeccable - with all the wood trim and moulding in our old home - there wasn't a speck of paint out of place or a brush mark to be seen! We were so impressed we had him come back the next day to do another job! I will only be hiring Bill as our interior painter as projects come up because his price, professionalism and quality of work was simply the best!

He is alright. He didn't get more than one 12x12 room. It was one painter for 3 days, so he didn't get much done. He is an okay painter, but he works really slow. I asked how much to get another room done, and he said it was $500. I won't use him again. He is a good enough guy, he just works really slow. He is very professional.

This particular customer seems to confuse work for progress. This first time home buyer is in way over his head. They purchased a $500,000 plus house that needs a lot of work. They also have huge medical school loans so I can tell the pressure is getting to them. They asked a flooring contractor to leave the job because he was trying to address an issue with the floor not being level. The customer purchased 3-8 hr. days of painting at an Angies List reduced deal price. I got more painting done than any contractor he could have hired. I painted a larger than 12x12 room including trim, doors, closet and then got a coat on the walls in another room. This customer is not telling the truth. It was easy to tell that this customer had never been in the presence of a contractor because of the way he carried himself. This so-called customer asked me to do other painting so I gave him a price at my regular rate. Then he tried to negotiate the price. I made up my mind when I finished the job that I would never work for these people again and I am glad I was able to communicate the importance of really appreciating a good contractor. They will learn how to work with contractors but it will take time. I wish them god speed in this process.

I hope [Member Name Removed] can find someone in Coatsville to do some painting. [Member Name Removed] gave me an F rating but that's OK because I think that [Member Name Removed] doesn't understand business and he just may have had a bad day.

Bill was fantastic. We were able to connect quickly after I purchased his services and set up a time for him to paint. It was a special for 8 hours for $249. He showed up on time, completed on time, and did an outstanding job! I will absolutely hire him again. Very professional. Very courteous. Excellent painter.

I can't say enough good things about Bill Buckham. We originally hired him to paint two interior rooms. He was courteous, professional and did an excellent job. He also gave us tips on spackling and selecting paint. We were so happy with his service we then hired him to come back and do our shutters. He was able to work us into his schedule and our house looks amazing!

William responded to my initial request in a very timely fashion and we quickly set up a time for the service to be performed. He showed up exactly when he said he would. which in today's day and age is very impressive within itself. We went and did a quick run threw of the painting I wanted done and what was top priority for me. The room I wanted completely painted looks absolutely fantastic. A true professional you can't even see where I attempted to do it myself. I will be having him back to finish a couple smaller projects we just did not have the time to get to the day of the original service. Sincerely, Dawn

Bill did an amazing job. He was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We had him paint our stairwell up to the second floor as well as the hallway upstairs. He prepped the area perfectly with tape and drop cloths and cleaned up everything completely. It was an awesome experience and I will DEFINITELY be calling him again.

They did really great but he still owes us 8 hours because we were not complete with what we had to do and once we get that done he said just give us a call and he will come back and he'll put in his other 8 hours. But outside of that he was one time for the time that he was there for the 2 days he did very well and he did a good job as far as we can tell. I would recommend him to anybody because as a matter of fact I did have someone from our church who asked who did the work and so I've already recommended him to somebody.

Despite stating Chester county was in the area served, William Buckham painting would not come to Chester county, Downingtown, for the service. In an Angiels list message to me, William Buckham stated he would have to "charge my normal rate of $40.00 per man hour to travel to Downingtown". This was no longer a deal. I contacted Angies List who refunded the $240 I paid.

This is the second time that I've used Bill Buckham's company. Bill and Steve were very professional. Bill is very friendly and him and Steve do great work. The job took 3 days to complete and included sanding, priming and painting the trim work. The work area was left clean each and every day. Bill noticed that I had a height chart of my daughter on one of the door frames and recreated it. His prices are fair and I will be using him again to complete the trim work and any other painting that I would need. You can't go wrong by using Bill's company.

The project took 11 full days. They were here at 7:30 on the dot every morning and worked until 4:30 PM with a brief lunch break. They were very neat and the work was meticulous. The ceiling was quite a mess and now it is as lovely to me as the one in the Sistine Chapel. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and will hire Bill again. I have had two other painters do work on my house and was satisfied but the job Bill did was far more thorough.
Description of Work: Painted soffits, front door and one set of shutters; scraped popcorn paint off the ceiling in the living room and fixed numerous cracks; painted the trim in the living room and hallway and the walls as well as beadboard and fireplace mantle; disassembled and painted (Rustoleum) the baseboard radiator covers.

Perfection is how I describe this job. Bill does great work. We wanted to have our entry rooms done right and Bill really did a phenomenol job. Bill's attention to detail is what made our decision for us. As a subcontractor for a front door intstallation, he did the staining work . We were so impressed by that work that we knew we wanted him to do some more work for us. Initially I was a bit suprised on the pricing but as with our front door staining we were extremely happy. Bill was here for about 2 weeks with helpers and based on the time he was here it worked out to about $40 per hour. Bill will certianly get our business in the future.
Description of Work: We had 3 areas of our house interior painted. The walls, ceilings, doors, and trimwork were painted in the following rooms: Living room, Foyer, and 2nd Floor Hallway. The Living Room - $Cost 2000 Required a lot of work. Lots of trim work with wall paper that had been painted over plus the ceiling was realling showing a lot of imperfections. Walls, ceiling, doors and trim work were painted. The Foyer - Cost $2500 We have a 20 ft foyer that has a decent amount of trim work. Walls, ceiling, and trim work were painted. Upstairs Hallway - $600 Not too complicated from a trim perspective. Aside from the walls and ceiling, floorboardsds and doors were painted.
