Steve and Steve (our contractor and builder) did great. They were asked to come in when a family death kept our original team from starting when we needed. He worked out the issues with the township and the proceeded to totally gut and redo my bathroom. We LOVE it!!

It was fine. It's close and convenient and we have a lot of stuffs in the house. They're usually very courteous and helpful. We don't really have questions.

poor quality of workmanship

Had no problem with the actual job or the carpet. However, shortly after the purchase the carpet began to buckle at each doorway seam. I had over 10 places this happened. Called Lowe's in December '13, I was quoted price to stretch the carpet and re-tack. Installer didn't show due to weather. Called again & again. Each time, the customer service person I worked with apologized and each time the installer either didn't show or didn't call. The cycle continued. It's been 6 months, my carpet looks awful and I can't get Lowe's to send a repair person out to repair the buckles. Their service people are always kind & respectful, but the response & followup is dismal. Shop elsewhere.

Everything was great with those and I've bought all my appliances from them for my kitchen and I've bought paint from them. They're very good to work with. I've had granite counter tops I bought from them installed as well.

We liked their price better than the other company. They had to come earlier than they anticipated because the heater was leaking more. At first, it was dripping and then it started to really really leak so they did have to come out a little bit sooner than they had anticipated. They were flexible.

I found everything that I was looking for and that a lot of different choices which is good and lock into one particular thing so I thought that was pretty good feature and I was literally in and out and I don’t spent a long time looking for specific type room itself – it’s very small so it wasn’t like a major and it coordinated everything which is basically a toilet and a vanity so that was it. I think overall experience is good even though nobody really help me. I think their prices were good. I think the quality was good because I did get not the main brand but something I had a warranty to it. Surely I’ll go back to them because it’s convenient for me it’s close and it’s like 5 minutes from my house.

I was very satisfied with the contract. I had no problems. They took care of the questions that I had and the situation they came up which were a couple of small ones. I really love them. The price is very competitive.

I had no problem with them and it was fine. Their prices are good and they are very well stocked.

I never even got as far as the estimate because the whole process was so slow. I got a quote from Home Depot almost a week before I got a quote from them. Their price per sq.ft wasn't as competitive as Home Depot's.

I liked the fact that they gave a lot of suggestions. They helped set up the other contractors for the sink and faucet. The contractor they used the countertops didn't install on the day they said they would. They didn't show up on the appointed date, and I never got a phone call.

My plan was to order a specific bamboo floor online, but Lowes was able to special order a very similar plant that was much cheaper and the quality and specs looked just as good as my sample from the internet. They also had a finance promo going which sealed the deal. I had no plywood down on the floor and they wouldn't install it per lowes and the wood manufactures rules which was a good thing. Anyway I got the plywood and the installation began. The installers worked quickly and knew what they were doing. They answered all my questions and concerns during the install and explained what they were doing. The floor is beautiful. Even the installers said that was one of the best looking floors and the best bamboo floor they installed. I will have them do another room later.

When we checked on the delivery the following Friday, we found that the range had not been shipped from the distribution center to the store, and would not be delivered. The store rescheduled for Sunday - no range, then Wednesday - no range, finally after nearly two weeks, we cancelled the order. The range stayed in Pottsville, less than 4 hours away. The store personnel were sympathetic to our issues, but apparently had no power over the distribution center, even though they both work for Lowes.

Jenny was very pleasant to work with, and with her help, we remodeled our kitchen. This included creating a kitchen design that met our needs, choosing cabinet exteriors that matched our counter-top choice, and helping us decide on the interiors of cabinets and drawers. From our first meeting, she patiently, expertly, and clearly explained the options and their plusses and minuses. She was forthright and honest in her evaluations and recommendations. If there was a problem with cabinet delivery, counter top, or rebates, Jenny took care of it. Remodeling is a stressful endeavor. Jenny's guidance and calm self-assurance lessened the stress considerably. We are very pleased with our resulting kitchen.

I did a lot of research for washers and decided on Samsung. I went to an appliance store and found one sales person to be helpful but when I went back the other sales person seemed less than enthused or helpful. I went to Lowe's the sales person was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. I got very good advice and was given info about what features are overrated and unnecessary. The best part was that Lowe's delivered the washer the very next day on a SUNDAY! Which meant I didn't have to take time off work.

Choosing what we wanted was the hardest part, as I was trying to get a color to match with what was in our carpeting and furniture (besides white). The staff was always helpful, and let us take home books so we could better match up what we wanted. The ordering went smoothly, the blinds were delivered on time, and they recommended a great contractor to do the installation (he also did the measurements, which were perfect!). Lowes also followed up with us to make sure that we were happy with our order and with the work the contractor had done.

I worked with Jenny who was an excellent designer. She was able to create the layout & cabinet specs that I wanted. I have worked with this dept before and both Jenny & Dick are very knowledgeable. She was patient and creative. She also provided me with several options that made the cost less. I was very pleased with the final product which arrived on time & in good condition.

They had to cut down the doors and put in a new threshold. They also had to replace some woods on the house. They did a great job. Lowe's contracts all of their work to be done. The doors themselves were great, it did take a long time for them to get here. Nearly three weeks.

THE SALES PERSON AT LOWE'S WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL WHEN I WAS SELECTING MY SHADES AND PLACING MY ORDER. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND QUICKLY QUOTED ME WHAT THE PRICE WOULD BE FOR EACH. ONCE THE ORDER WAS PROCESSED THEY WERE DELIVERED TO MY HOME WITHIN 4 DAYS WHICH WAS A WEEK EARLIER THAN EXPECTED.

LOWE'S SENT A SUB-CONTRACTOR TO MEASURE FOR MY CARPET IN ORDER TO GET AN ESTIMATE. AFTER I AGREED TO THE PRICE AND PAID FOR THE CARPET, A DIFFERENT SUB-CONTRACTOR CAME TO INSTALL IT. THE INSTALLATION TEAM FROM MEYER QUICKLY DETERMINED THAT THE ORIGINAL MEASUREMENT WAS INACCURATE AND THEREFORE THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH CARPET TO COMPLETE THE JOB. THE MEYER'S INSTALLERS WERE EXTREMELY APOLOGETIC FOR THE MISTAKE WHICH WAS NOT THEIRS. THEY INSTALLED THE CARPET IN THE BEDROOM AND HALLWAY, BUT NEEDED TO ORDER MORE FOR THE CLOSET AND STAIRS. LOWE'S WAS SOMEWHAT RESPONSIVE, BUT ON TWO OCCASIONS I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL BACK AND NEVER DID. I HAD TO PURSUE LOWE'S TO PUT A RUSH ON THE CARPET IN ORDER TO GET THE JOB FINISHED. THE CARPET WAS DELAYED BY A WEEK WITH NO APOLOGY FROM LOWE'S. WHEN THE CARPET FINALLY CAME IN (OF COURSE I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR ERROR) IT WAS INSTALLED AGAIN BY MEYER. THE INSTALLERS DID A GREAT JOB AND THEY WILL BE INSTALLING FOR ME AGAIN.

THE SALE PERSON WAS EXCELLENT, BUT THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS LOUSY AND DID NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.

THE FIRST PERSON WE DEALT WITH WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT APPLIANCES AND IT WAS A REFRESHING FEELING. THE DELIVERY CHARGE IS A DRAWBACK BECAUSE YOU COULD GET A REBATE, BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO PAY AND THEN YOU PAY TAX ON TOP OF IT. THE DELIVERY PEOPLE WERE VERY CONSCIOUS NOT TO MARK THE WALLS AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
