Description of Work: After Hurricane Sandy hit, I decided it was time to get a generator. I contacted John Fuhr and he advised me what generator to buy and how much it would be to connect a transfer switch and what the cost would be. He installed the switch in a timely manner ant showed me how to use it. The price was exactly what the quote was and the work was done professionally. I have used Fuhr Electric four times and would advise others to contact him when you need a quality job for a good price.

+ 0 moreWe'd had previous electricians with whom we not especially satisfied. I asked at the store where I was choosing the fan for recommendations. From the list we chose John Fuhr. He was on time for the estimate and later for the job. He gave advice on which units would work and which ones wouldn't (we have the fan on a rheostat). The one I had purchased had to be exchanged before installation for that reason. There were some difficulties with the fan itself, but it all worked out well. We had other questions concerning flickering lights and circuitry which he inspected and was able to explain to our satisfaction. I would hire him for future electrical work.
Description of Work: We needed a fan replaced and other miscellaneous electrical work including some flickering lights and reports from a prior electrician that some wiring might not be up to standards.

He always checked with us prior to placement and/or cutting. He was informative and courteous, knowledgable and very easy to work with. We recommend him highly.
Description of Work: He was recommended to us by an interior decorator. He did an extensive amount of work for us including recessed lighting throughout, installed an attic fan, a fan in the bathroom, wiring in the basement, additional lights in the kitchen and laundry room.
