John N. was great to work with, his crew did an excellent and very meticulous job! Eduardo and crew were very thorough and I could tell they took pride in a professional job. Eduardo even caught my puppy after she got out of our yard before we even knew she escaped!

The guys were on time and very polite. The gentlemen actually listened to what I wanted and the items to leave on the wall such as the screws to hold items that were going back. They left everything clean as if they were't ever there.

From start to finish CertaPro made having my house painted a breeze. The initial person of contact listened to my needs and wants and worked up a proposal for those services only. There were no add-ons or other services added that I did not ask for. When it was time to have the project done all members of the crew were excellent. They prepped, cleaned, painted and cleaned up after themselves. I have a new looking house ready to take on the elements with no trash or messes left behind. CertaPro provided excellent A+ service at a great price!

I was originally given a date and then it was moved. The worker showed up with the wrong stain and tried to convince me to use the cheaper wrong color he had brought. They applied stripper to the deck and then left, and due to weather I constantly had to be rescheduled. When they finally came back to paint my deck they sent only one person, and the deck was covered unevenly, and they hadn't finished stripping off the old stain so it repelled in places too. I continually had to call to have it touched up, and it already had begun peeling up. They eventually sent someone to sand and repaint some areas that needed to be fixed, but peeling still was happening. Eventually the stopped following up with me, charged my credit card for the work, and haven't responded to by messages since, despite having a two year warranty on their work. Communication was poor, and I absolutely don't feel it was worth the price I paid, and the weeks it took to "complete" the job.

The job took six days and was not completed after the sixth day. Although promised a "crew", we had a single painter for four of the six days, and a helper two days. By Saturday, the interior work was deemed completed by the painter, but he rushed to get it finished because he was starting another job on Monday. The exterior work was not completed. The owner came to check the work the following week, and agreed that it was not finished nor well done, and offered to have his "good" guy finish it. So who did we have to paint our house - definitely not a good guy? A price reduction was agreed upon, and touch-up paint that had been promised was not received for another week. And the touch-up paint, while the correct colors, was not the same finish as the paint used for the job, so we had to buy touch-up paint ourselves. We would NEVER use Certa Pro again. The entire job was a fiasco, and we are still finishing the job ourselves.

First of all and mist important, none of the painting crew had a working grasp of the Endlish language, with obvious adverse consquences. After the job was done, there were significant overruns of paint trim onto the carpet. I had to show the crew how to remediate the problem without pealing away the paint off the trim. The spaculing in spots was totally unacceptable and had to be redone by another worker who was part of the original crew.

We requested an estimate via Angie's online message service (which I highly recommend - very fast responses from companies) Mellissa Novell, franchise owner, scheduled an appointment within a few days. She arrived promptly, was very courteous and professional. She listened to what work we wanted done, took pictures of all areas and we received a written proposal within 2 days. The job was scheduled within 2 weeks. The workers arrived on time, covered all necessary areas with drop cloths and got to work. They did an excellent job especially considering they had to use very long extension ladders to reach the tops of the two 2/1/2 story walls. Job was completed in about 5 hours. The crew cleaned up so well that you'd never know they had been here. As part of the job I had asked that the crew clean the huge window high up on the one wall as it's the only time it can get washed (when that area is painted) - did it no problem! Overall I'd give the company and the crew an A+. My only negative was we had purchased the paint ourselves and were told it would take about 3 gallons. Unfortunately it took a little over a gallon so we have 2 cans leftover for touch-ups or the next time the room needs to be painted.

At the time of estimating, Mr. Slifer asked important questions that revealed his obvious knowledge of issues involves in painting old stone farmhouses such as ours. His numbers made sense although they were not the lowest, but they were over a thousand dollars less than the other contractor who impressed us. The weather took a toll on the start date, but once they started they worked steadily. The chief painter Jim was prompt, respectful, careful around our shrubs and plantings, extremely neat, and very responsive to our concerns. Certa Pro says that they give daily status reports and they did just that during the job. When questions came up during the project, Mr. Slifer was very responsive and resolved the matters to our complete satisfaction. The house looks great and we could not be happier.

I use CertaPro Painters of Norristown on a regular basis. I use them myself and I also refer them to my customers, exterior, interior painting and all of the restoring and finishing of people's wooden decks. In the past 2 years, I probably referred him over a hundred times and I've gotten literally 100% positive feedback. He's always on time, always fair pricing and always returns the phone calls. He never lets anybody down. He runs a real tight shift. He is on the ball. I've dealt with numerous painters over the years and I've come across a lot of these referrals, I've never found anybody that was just professional. reliable and able to handle things and Chris is across the board 100%. He comes out, meets with the client and gives an estimate then schedule the work.

Did a great job. Communicated daily the progress of the job. Would definitely use again.

Larry Slifer came out and gave us an estimate in July. He was very nice and helpful answering any questions I had. The work didn't start until 2 months later due to conflicts with my schedule and Certapro accomodated us without any issue. We met with a color specialist who helped us pick a color. The guy who did 90% of the work (Charlie) did a good job, nice to deal with, and cleaned up each day after himself. They did a good job of communicating with us when they would be there and worked with us on the times. After the first coat was on the house, we decided to change it and make it a bit darker and they gave us no issue in doing this, although the price rose a bit for the cost of the paint which had already been purchased. All things considered, everything went smoothly. There are a few small spot we'd like touched up and were told that was no problem. I'd recommend Certapro for their value and how easy everyone was to work with.

They were a great company. They were always punctual, and cleaned up everyday. They were very nice.

The quality was hit or miss. They did my bedroom first and we were very happy with it. They painted over wallpaper so they sealed it first and then did two coats of paint. They covered the furniture, everything was great and they vacuumed after they left. We had them back to do the two bathrooms and they sent the same two men who did our bedroom. They did a horrific job. They got paint splatters all over my wood floors, all over my sink had it looks like they didn't put down enough coats of paint. I don't know what happened. It was the same painters as before. Not only that, but there were some inappropriate comments made to me by one of the men who were painting. I was unsure whether or not I should report them, but ended up speaking on the phone with the office manager. The office manager was great, listened to my concerns and was happy to say she was not going to send them back. Then, the actual owner came to my house to look at some other work I wanted done. The owner dismissed my complaint and defended his painter. He didn't really listen to anything I had to say, so his response combined with the terrible job the painters did in the bathrooms led me to not want to use them again. They did send other painters out to correct the problems but I will not use them in the future.
