 + 0 moreCame in with the best bid. Work progressed slowly, starting in 2009 and was interrupted by weather. Work site left a bit messy, but all details confirmed via phone. The new wall is straight and true and should last decades. Handled extra aspect of job--moving a large shed--with ease.
Description of Work: rebuilt retaining wall and stuccoed same added concrete cap to drainage area next to house--roughly size of a short sidewalk

siding
 + -1 moreA storm tore off some sections of the siding from our house. We were unable to match the color to replace just the parts that blew away. We called Nickey Masonry, who had performed beautiful stone work for us in the past. Steve attempted to locate a match for the siding color, going to several material sources without success. He then provided us with a number of sample colors to choose from. Within a week or two his crew started our job; they removed the siding and took it from our premises. They installed the new siding, completing the job in 3 days. The work was excellent and we are very pleased with the work and the price. The workers were very careful working around our shrubs. We have used them before for stone and concrete work and were very pleased with that work as well.
Description of Work: Several pieces of the siding on our twin-rancher was blown off in a storm. Nickey Masonry was called and came out to give us an estimate right away. Steve attempted to locate a match to replace just the sections that had blown away. Being unable to find a match, we had to re-side the entire side and back of the house. Steve's crew came out on schedule to remove the siding. They were clean workers and did not damage our shrubs. They removed all debris from the premises. They made any necessary replacement of the undercoating (tar paper?) and proceeded to install the new siding and did a fantastic job.

 + 0 moreAfter cleaning the flagstones, which were badly discolored from environmental "dirt", leaves and mold, Steve chiseled them up by hand and chipped off the concrete. He then prepped the bed as necessary and reset the flagstones in fresh concrete. He finished trim around the flagstones with concrete. He reinstalled the wrought-iron gate. He made a beautiful job of the patio. The patio is AWESOME!
Description of Work: Our flagstone patio was beginning to come unjointed. We needed someone to fix it, never realizing what a big job it was going to be to do it properly. We called Steve from Nickey Masonry Inc. who had reset our stone fireplace for us several years before. Steve removed the flag stone slabs from our patio and reset them in small stones and concrete. He prepped the patio by powerwashing it and reset the stones making sure the colors were represented across the entire space. The patio measures approx. 20'x20'.

 + 1 moreThis guy does excellent work. He is very honest and trustworthy. He is also very courteous and professional.
Description of Work: They removed the old, cracked stucco from the perimeter of my 2300 square foot home. He replaced it with new stucco, painted it, repaired my chimney, which was cracked, and put flashing around it. This took about 2 weeks.
