JFoster Cabinets and Trim

John and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets. After a complete renovation of our kitchen John helped design the layout, built and installed cabinets and completed all trim in our kitchen and dining room. He was even able to matched our 100 year old trim seamlessly. I would recommend J Foster cabinets to any home or business owner.

John is excellent! He created a beautiful and functional mudroom and pantry for us that we love. It is exactly what we were missing to make our home feel complete. Our kids love their new lockers and cubbies for their book bags and the enclosed cabinetry is perfect to hide coats. The cabinetry feels very high end with detailed trim work and soft close doors. The custom color selection is such a nice touch as well. For our pantry we love the added touch of pull-out metal drawers and color matched natural wood counter tops. He is super knowledgeable and creates a seamless end product. We enjoyed the design process and creating something specific to our needs. We were so fortunate to work with him on these projects. We highly recommend John!

After a SECOND refrigerator we purchased would not fit into our cabinetry(despite the appliance specs AND store survey indicating it should fit), we decided to call a carpenter to help us problem solve. I called John and he spent a lot of time on the phone talking and texting, viewing vids and pics on the phone. After determining a plan, he was kind enough to schedule the work quickly. TWO days after the phone call he was in my kitchen. Furthermore, after taking things apart, he exposed very poor workmanship by the original installers, which caused more problem solving and VERY difficulty work. John is meticulous with his work and would not leave until HE was satisfied with correcting the situation while ALSO ensuring acceptable appearance. The results were beyond what we expected. He worked incredibly to add every 1/16 of an inch he could to the height and width of the space. Now, we can finally have a refrigerator delivered as it is not fun living without one. Thanks John. I highly recommend John.

John was exceptional in all aspects of working with him. He listened to what I wanted and provided really good feedback and input; the end result was much better than I would've had without his expertise. He offered a competitive estimate, came on time for the job, and did beautiful work. I couldn't be happier with the process or the result - I would rate him an A+ if it were an option! I highly recommend John for any custom carpentry.

Excellent results. This was not a huge project but one that required patience and thought. I am a "restoration minded" customer, meaning, my desire is to replicate original design and re-use components where I can. Few carpenters would be interested in this scope of work, reproducing existing fit and finish, but Mr. Foster and I were on the same page right from the beginning.

John is a professional craftsman and takes great pride in his work. The installation of hardwood flooring, woodworking and railing was installed with a high quality of detail and excellence. He was punctual, worked to a high standard and took great care to clean up at the end of each day. We highly recommend John and would not hesitate to use his services again.
