Contacted 3 chimney repair companies listed on this website. All with A ratings. Needed repair to one masonry chimney crown and possibly a replacement cap for the home oil burner vent. Above All Chimney and Masonry rep arrived on time for estimate and inspected both locations. He advised the oil burner cap was in good shape and did not need replacement. He completed a written estimates for two different methods for repairing the crown before leaving. One of the other companies never showed up. The rep from the third company never inspected the oil burner vent and tried to sell me a spray sealer treatment for masonry. Told I would get telephone call estimate. A day later received a call with an expensive estimate for cap replacement, crown repair, and sealer treatment. Contacted Above All and set appointment within a week to complete the repair. Arrived on time and completed repair quickly.

I was called the day before as a reminder. 2 trucks arrived as planned. The chimney had to be accessed from the kitchen. Tarps were placed on the entry and kitchen floors by 2 workers while 2 more worked on the roof. They were finished and cleaned up before I knew it. The new cap looks great!

The two employees arrived, performed the service, and were incredibly friendly. The work was completed in a very clean fashion. I would recommend and use again.

We called the office on 9/6 and left a message. As of 9/11,we have no received a response.

The crew was friendly and arrived on time. They were exceptionality clean putting tarps down. They cleaned the insert better than the dealer ever did.

Work was done as scheduled. The chimney looks great. Workers cleaned up outside and also came in to make sure no mess was in the fireplace. I would highly recommend this company.

I have used Above All twice for chimney cleanings. Both times the crews that came out to do the job were courteous, professional and on-time. They were also over $30 less than the other companies I called. I was very satisfied with the service provided and will use continue to use them in the future.

Two man team worked well together. It is a messy job and they tried very hard not to track through the house by placing tarp on the floor. I paid the advertised price for the cleaning and naturally the extra charge( not listed above) for the chimney cap. Stating the obvious, for $119.00 it is worth the peace of mind to remove any previously unknown possibilities of a chimney fire due to cracking and aging.

Purchased the chimney cleaning from one of Angie's Lists deals. The vendor was very quick to contact me to schedule the cleaning and was able to get a date on the calendar that worked with my schedule (they were more available than I was). Two individuals showed up on time and were very professional. I have a damper on top of my chimney, so they had to clean from inside the house. They were extremely clean and there was no mess after they left. Overall, I would use them again.

I highly recommend calling and quot;Above all chimneyand quot;. I would trust them with any type of chimney job. Our 70 year old chimney had cracked mortar and brick faces were falling off. We were getting a wet wall inside on rainy weeks. and quot;Above all chimneyand quot; came out and recommended a repointing and chimney saver coating. We had 2 other estimates from local companies. The other companies were recommending masonry paint or stucco for waterproofing. All of the estimates were in the same price range, but we wanted to retain the brick look. We also thought the chimney saver product was great and repointing was the correct fix. The person that performed the estimate also managed the project and inspected the work daily. The guys were very professional. Their work was excellent. A crew of two worked on grinding out the mortar for a few days. They cleaned up as they worked. Mortar dust had settled on a nearby car and they washed off the car. They dug out and replaced complete bricks with new bricks that matched. Some bricks were refaced with mortar and painted as requested. They repaired the crown which was not on the estimate and no additional money was requested. When the job was complete the surrounding area was washed and debris was removed. The chimney looks 100% better. The water proof coating will be applied in a few weeks to allow the mortar to set. Overall the work performed was a great value for the price.

Left a call to get an estimate an they returned my call and set up an appointment within an hour. They were able to schedule the estimate within a couple of days, and do the work within two weeks. The office followed up to confirm the estimate appointment and work appointment the day before. The mechanics arrived on time and were professional at all times. The explained the work they were doing as I checked in on progress. The quality of their work was excellent up to may expectations, asI tend to be very picky. They cleaned up the job site well and were respectful of my entire property, Highly recommended!

Above All Chimney gets an A+ for being No. 1 Jerks! The property service is a rental. My property manager contacted them, verified insurance and license, ensured they knew that we needed a detailed invoice and agreed to pay them the day work was to be completed. The worker was punctual, did the work we asked for and supplied an invoice with zero detail (minor issue). Since my property manager was not able to oversee the work, I called them up personally to ask them to give me one day to verify that the work was completed. This inquiry immediately triggered the worker to raise his voice to me demanding that I pay him immediately without verifying that the work was completed. I hung up on him right away (yelling at me is unacceptable). He called back and I explained to him that he has no right to yell at me - especially since I am a new customer. He exclaimed that he had been jerked around before, and I explained to him that I should not be treated poorly due to the behaviors of his other customers. He then proceeded to threaten to go back to my property to remove the work that he completed. I told him that if that is his priority, then he should do so. I provided a compromise: I would pay him half today, verify the work, then pay the remaining due tomorrow. No go on that suggestion. Ultimately after 30 minutes he agreed to my first request... to wait ONE DAY to pay him - but only if I called them prior to 2pm the following day. Price was affordable regarding travel, parts, climbing the roof, installation... He received a 'C' for not providing an estimate and detailed invoice. Quality of the work gets an 'NA' since my only verification of the work is a photo from the street that a tenant provided me. Responsiveness - 'A' Punctuality - 'A' PROFESSIONALISM - 'F' The receptionist gets an A+ - She was courteous to both myself and my Manager. I DO NOT recommend this service provider.

I was happy with how prompt they were; knowledgeable and easy to deal with, I felt comfortable with them in my home. I am happy with the work they did, they used high quality materials, and I feel their price was reasonable.

Very fair and reasonably priced. Punctual, polite and professional. Worked quietly and cleaned up afterwards. Definitely will use their services again in others areas which they offer. Definitely will recommend them to everybody. They did everything that was agreed on and a little extra. An extremely positive experience and glad that we chose them. Good work ethic.

I was pleased with Above All, they were very good. They were very clean.

A telephone call to the company is answered by a live person. She was able to make an appointment that was was mutually agreeable. The men called a few minutes ahead of arrival. They arrived in a well marked van and gave an on the spot proposal. They went quickly to work, cleaning and making minor repairs to the getters and downspouts. They were neat and careful. The office had provided a price range, and the on-site fee was within the expected range. This was the 3rd season I used them and have been pleased with the service and fee. Other companies I've used tend to want to sell new gutters, or they and quot;findand quot; roof/siding issues while cleaning the gutters.

It went very good. It took about 3 hours to do this job. A new cover was applied and one on the top of the chimney. We went to get the lifetime guarantee for chimney, but never got it.

Richard came out to give me an estimate and after meeting him, I decided right then to use his company for the work. His estimate was in the same vicinity as others and I was impressed with his knowledge/experience. Most important, he is a straight forward guy who doesn't try to sell you something that you don't need and he took the time to answer all my questions. I received a reminder call the day before the service and as per my request Richard even called me 30 minutes before arriving the day of. The liner was installed and all of the corresponding work was done as it was originally explained to me. Richard and his assistant we very professional and kept things neat/clean throughout the whole job. There was additional work that was not part of the estimate (inspect/clean fireplace) and Richard was very fair in his pricing. I would recommend their services and I definitely plan on using them for all my future chimney needs.

I found Richard to be very professional. He explained everything to me in detail as to how and why the work needed to be done. He answered all my questions with patience. He re-pointed my chimney and installed a new crown. He also gave me a complete inspection telling me what repairs will need to be done in the future. I found him and his crew to be very courteous, punctual and knowledgeable in their field. While he was here he gave me a free estimate on my lawn care. I feel his prices on both chimney work and landscaping to be very reasonable. I would definitely use him again as well as refer him to anyone who needs chimney or landscaping work done.My entire chimney was re-pointed and a new crown was installed.
