** COMMUNITY & ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS **
From a public health and environmental perspective, Kline’s Renewable Energy System Project is one of the most beneficial ways of dealing with the waste collected by Kline’s Services. Phase I is already producing positive results by not only providing an alternative fuel from waste, but also provides heat for processing efficiency at Kline’s Services and reduces emissions. Kline’s Services expects that with the implementation of Phase II, electrical power will be produced from waste that will power Kline’s operation as well as provide 400kWh to be net metered.
Other community and environmental benefits include the elimination of methane gas, a greenhouse gas that is 21 times more detrimental to the environment than carbon dioxide, and the reduction of odors.

I called at 8:30 and my call was answered by the answering service promptly. The supervisor then called to discuss issue and pricing. He let me know upfront that it would be a pricey call since it was after hours and the approximate time his crew could arrive. The crew member (Joel)called and told me what time he thought he would arrive, and he was right on time (11:30pm). He was quick and efficient. He thought it was just a quick blockage and he would snake it out. Then he discovered rock and thought our pipe had collapsed ($$$). After using his camera, he discovered the vent pipe was separated from main drain line and needed to be repaired. (My heart started to beat again at that point because I am hopeful this is a less expensive repair than replacing an entire pipe six feet underground in a huge flowerbed.) Joel explained how we could repair the vent ourselves, but digging down six feet and trying to repair it properly is something we will leave to the professionals. I don't want to have another emergency call due to my mistake. I would highly recommend Kline's for emergency sewer clean-out. Quick response. Truck equipment was pretty quiet so I don't think we disturbed our neighbors. Joel answered all of our questions quickly and never got frustrated with all of them.
Description of Work: Emergency call at night. Flushed sewer line and then found the vent pipe was separated from the main pipe (something about the stack). Recommended hiring someone to dig down 6 feet to the pipe and reattach the separated vent pipe. Gave us a temporary fix to get us through until then.

Description of Work: They totally cleaned the septic tank of all debris. It seems the company we used before only got the liquid stuff. This company took their time and cleaned it out totally causing them to be there longer than anticipated. When you take into consideration of what they did, I think it was worth it. He was very courteous and helpful and explained the situation. I think this is the first time the septic tank had a total cleaning cause we and previous owners used the company prior to this one for many years, and we have been at the house since 1980. I was very impressed with him!

They do it for cheap and just gave me a CD with pictures showing the quality of my plumbing and sewer. They have done this service for me repeatedly since 2004. I like their price. They come quickly and do a very professional job. The first time they came they could not find some outside vents. They found the vents and cleaned them out for me. The last time they were here I had a leak in the middle of my basement floor so they gave me a CD of it. It only took one person this time to do it. When they first started coming they sent two people.

Initially went with another provider who told us our sewer line needed to be replaced ($4000+). Kline's came out and did a camera inspection and told us that it did not need replacing at all. Got a great education on sewer lines. I found them to be highly professional and trust-inspiring. Would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call in the future!

I was greatly disappointed when I found out that they were no longer servicing the Conestoga area. Now I have to find and build another relationship with someone else - not such an easy thing to do. Their excellent service has always been appreciated and I am very disappointed that we've been dropped. They said they had to scale back the distances they traveled and we were just to far out.
Description of Work: This provider has been keeping after our septic tank for years! We've always enjoyed the experience and depended on them to keep our septic running smoothly.

Kline's Services Inc. they are the best in the area, but you pay for it though. They are the most prompt, they are the biggest. You know you are going to get the service on the day that you want it. If one truck breaks down it don't clear their hold schedule out. They did the work about a month ago, we switched over to city sewer, so it was a final pumping. They charge a couple hundred bucks.

The septic service is self explanatory About 5 years ago we lost all water pressure from our well. We called several plumbers and Klines claimed they'd be out that afternoon. The serviceman was polite and thorough in testing the system. I helped him pull 300+ feet of tubing out of the well and he discovered a worn wire was the cause of the problem. It was quickly repaired and reinforced to keep it from happeneing again
Description of Work: We had the settling tank and pump chamber pumped out. We have this done every two years to extend the life of our drainage field. Never had a problem with them Also had them repair our well pump about 5 years ago, along with the pressure tank two years ago. Again, no problems and the service was done right the first time. Prices were fair.

I Bought a bank owned house and needed the septic pumped. Called around and found Klines. They were professional and very helpful with info when I called them. I made the appointment and they were on time. When the gentleman started his work, he realized that I had only uncovered one of the service tank access holes. We quickly worked together to dig out the other. Then, when we thought we had finished, we found a THIRD cover. Turns out the property had 3 (300 gallon) tanks in a row. We kept digging until all three lids were exposed. He was happy to help and it made quick work. It really was my fault for the extra time needed, and the guy had a great attitude and was easy going about it. Very very helpful. By the way, the septic tanks were PACKED full. Looked like it hadn't been pumped in many many years. Yet still, the Kline rep was happy to work the whole thing through. They charged me 195 for the septic pump. 125 for a septic treatment, and approximately 80 dollars for extra site work.

This time the clog, which starts in the laundry room, went on to the kitchen sinks as well and caused backup there. We had recently replaced the plumbing from the washing machine to the drain to improve flow of water and had a laundry sink installed. All was in order and running well for 2 months and then...... It seems somehow pantyhose got into our line, and we had a back-up. I called Kline's because they are experts with drains and sewers and have been prompt and helpful in the past. They had suggested the laundry sink (to be installed by regular plumber) and corrected a roof vent problem in the past, and I knew we could get fast service from them. Corby came out and snaked out, checked the house trap, the vents, pipes, etc. His work included running snake out 100 feet and resulted in snagging the pantyhose that was causing the problem. Now everything is clean and should be running fine. Corby was professional, put on foot covers, checked basement plumbing as well and was very courteous and friendly. The $165 price is for one hour of service and that is how long he spent at our house. We have been very satisfied with Kline's work in the past; previously used a different plumbing company to solve our drain problems and it took three service calls and four plumbers to correct the problem. Then we switched to Kline's. The current clog had nothing to do with their previous work here at our house nor with the recent plumbing work by Paul Chase (whom we adore!); it was "user error," as they say. Guarantee no more pantyhose are going in our washing machine or anywhere near our laundry sink! Beware the pantyhose!
Description of Work: Kline's has been out to our house before for plumbing issues stemming from our laundry room and ancient plumbing. Corby cleared the clog (see below).

It was a freezing snowy day and our septic alarm went off. We a have a multiple tank system that pumps up to a leach field about 200 feet away. When the pump goes out, waste can backup into the house. Kline had fixed the pump wiring before. That was almost a year before. That bill was nominal. They could have told us we needed a new pump then. They didn't. Even though the weather was bad and the holidays were approaching, they sent out a team within hours. They worked in difficult conditions. They replaced the pump. They always thoroughly explain what they are doing and why. They let you know how much it will be and they honor their estimate. We have used them exclusively for the eight years we have lived in our old rural house. They are professionals and honest.
Description of Work: Removed defective septic tank pump and replaced it with new one so that waste could be pumped up to the leach field.

We get very good service from Kline?s. They are timely, they save us money, they are very professional, and they are very knowledgeable. I have called them several times with questions and they always have the answers that I need. They didn?t try to push extra service down our throat or anything like that.
Description of Work: Kline’s takes care of our septic tank.
Absolutely great. Let's face it; spending thousands of dollars on plumbing is not fun or sexy, but when it comes to "Doing the Job Right," these guys are rock stars! They first came and did an overall inspection, returned to present the quote and worked with us every step of the way to answer questions and explain what was happening. Ours was a MAJOR project; at one point, we had six plumbers, two dump trucks, a box truck and two vans at our house - something that could have easily been a scary, frustrating or daunting experience was instead pretty easy. The entire crew was polite, (worried about tracking mud/dirt into the house, didn't leave cig butts in the yard,) courteous, efficient and professional. Most of all, they are GREAT at what they do. We have not had a single issue since they left - no little leaks, no strange sounds, everything works just perfectly.
Description of Work: We purchased an older home and called Kline's because our drains were sluggish; we also had a third floor toilet that overflowed when flushed. They came to do an inspection and found various problems - the major one being that we were not connected to city sewer. Also, the third floor drain pipe was completely blocked and needed to be cut/replaced. We ended up having a major excavation of our back yard to replace pipe that was being invaded by tree roots and connect to city sewer. They cut and redirected the drain pipe from the third-floor bathroom, reset the toilet to prevent leaking around the base, and also put a pump on our basement washer drain line and installed a garbage disposal for us.

Kline's was very courteous prompt and professional. So if you want a no hassle company to work with they were great in person, on the phone, and prompt follow up after my questions. They also have updated equipment and jet service, which some companies didn't have. However they did not diagnose the root of my problem until their third trip out. So I spent almost $750 on three clean outs of my main sewer line before they figured out the problem and gave me an estimate of about $4300 dollars to fix a broken trap ten feet deep under sidewalk pavers... The estimate was about $800 more than my other estimate. They didn't really accept any responsibility for the previous oversights... I'm glad they figured it out eventually, but I'm going with another company with a better price.
Description of Work: Kline's performed 3 clean outs of my main sewer line. Also tried to diagnose the cause of the problem the 1st and 3rd time.

First, I was very impressed that John Kline of Kline's Services came to do this inspection. I asked a lot of questions, and they were all answered. My husband called to ask more questions, and we were very satisfied with the time Kline's took with us. They even have a cute tutorial on their website to show you how a septic system works. Although the septic system was young (7 years), several leaks were found in the drainfield. Kline's completed the work on time, as scheduled. The current home owners paid for these repairs. I think the final price was higher than the estimate ($1420), since more problems were found and repaired when the drainfield was dug up. John came out to the site several other times for follow-up checks. When it was determined that these repairs did not fix the problem, we met at the site for another evaluation, suspecting problems with runoff rain water and poor soil. This last meeting included the realtors, the current owners, my husband and I, John, and another independent contractor. (Just a note: John showed up late to this meeting, since the date had been shuffled around a bit, and he had it scheduled for later in the week. We called him, and he was on his way.) John was able to give us clear evidence that the soil was inappropriate for a drainfield. We ended up not buying the house, since extensive changes would be needed. While the outcome was sad for all parties involved, I felt fully confident in Kline's abilities to handle the situation that concerned me most in the purchase of this home. In searching for another house, I had no fears of other septic systems, since I knew that I could trust Kline's.
Description of Work: Septic inspection prior to purchasing a house. The septic system was seven years old, consisted of two holding tanks, and a pump tank that released effluent to a drainfield.
