Everything Gutter

The big deal with a company Everything Gutter for 249 dollars for 50 feet high capacity 5 inch gutter or downspouts went well. They came and did the job on time and I had a little change in the order and so they did that. The service remained within the same big deal charge of 249 dollars. It was on time and they did what they supposed to do and was flexible. They were professionals and there was nothing more and it is not a big transaction so it is okay. The price is never going to be satisfying. I sure will use this company again in the future if needed.

I was out of town when Everything Gutter arrived at the property for cleaning. I received a call from Everything Gutter notifying me that all my gutters were clean. I took the company at it word and thanked them for their service. After further review, I noticed that the gutters, in the rear of the property, was not clean at all. I contacted Everything Gutters and they informed me that they must have forgot to clean the rear. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. I expected better based on their reviews.

Spoke with Jim over the phone about some repairs I wanted done on our gutters. Jim is very personable but I felt the arc of the conversation bent towards him wanting to bundle gutter cleaning into any repair work because, in his words, that would get me the best deal. I didn't think this was something I required based on how the gutters were performing, but I'm also not an expert and really just wanted someone to come take a look and tell me what they thought the issues were. Jim said he'd have someone out but I never encountered this person if they did come. Soon thereafter I received a work proposal and contacted Jim to go ahead with the repairs and cleaning, since every other gutter company I talked to just wanted to sell me all new gutters. Jim's guys arrived a few days earlier than expected and talked to me about what I wanted done. At that point it was revealed that they couldn't do the primary thing I wanted, to adjust the pitch of half-round gutters, because it isn't possible with that style. So they added a couple extensions I wanted and caulked a hole and a seam, and tried to prop up one section of gutter unsuccessfully. They also cleaned one gutter; the rest were clear. I'd say it was maybe an hour's worth of work, and for this I was billed $450. I wrote to Jim and explained the situation, saying that I didn't feel the work was worth that amount of money, and Jim immediately took $100 off and offered to take $200 off any new installation. I still feel like I spent several hundred dollars without really resolving any of my issues (other than the extensions) and now understand the importance of having conversations with contractors at your home rather than over the phone when you want work done.

Used this provider from an Angie's list deal. The gutter cleaning preformed at that date was fine, although the final price ended up being greater than the deal by 50%. Fast forward a year later. No communication with the provider during that time period. They then show up at my house and preform some random service that was not asked for or scheduled? I then received an invoice in the mail. Very unethical! Looking at the reviews I'm not the only person this has happened to. Stay away!

It went pretty well. They were fine. They came and did what they were supposed to do. They showed up when they were supposed to.

The service turned out okay. I told the guy I wanted to be here when he did the gutters, and he couldn't commit to that. He said somebody would be here on a certain date and time, I was here, nobody showed up. He just seemed to have too many people to do, and was not able to commit to being here when I asked him to be here. When they finally showed up, the guy had a blower, and he was here and out in probably 20 minutes. The pricing was okay.

I wasn't happy. I don't know what to think about it. The guy came he was up on the roof of the house for 6 minutes, and that's after not having our gutters cleaned for several years, and told me that they weren't dirty and left. Then he billed me an additional amount of money over a hundred dollars. I told him I wasn't paying it and that I would pay the $85 and that was it because that had already been paid and the guy was nice enough to let it go at that. So on the one hand they didn't push the issue with me and on the other hand I can't say for sure, I guess they did a good job, that's why I didn't comment because I really can't say how good of a job the guy did because he was only here for 5 to 10 minutes. I assume he did a good job but I can't check the work. I don't think they should charge more than the price they charge initially. I wouldn't recommend them to friends because I don't know much about them.

The gutters were cleaned very professionally with no mess. One part of the roof where leaves usually collect was cleaned completely. When we had snowstorms later on, there was no drip from the gutters and no icicles, which we have had in previous years even though the gutters were supposed to have been cleaned (by other companies.)

Weather interfered which of course was not their fault. Just showed up one day and I got the impression they would have done it whether I was here or not. I had inquired about how they did the cleaning because I was concerned that blowing them out would leave a mess. I was assured it was the best way to do it and that any mess would be cleaned up. They may have cleaned up some but there was debris all around, including on the side of my brand new car!

It was a good experience and my Husband had no problems scheduling the service. The price of the service was good.

C+ rating ? They will get the job done, but it may be much later then Jimmy leads you to believe and they do not think they need to keep you informed on changes. They expect you to bug them if it does not get done when and how you want. I booked the service on 12/16, gave dates online, and then was asked to call. I did and Jimmy said they would be out to clean the gutters on 12/19 or 12/22. They did not show up then and never contacted me to tell me when and if the work was going to happen. I asked Angie?s List for a rebate on 1/16. They gave me one. On 1/19 the gutters were cleaned and I got a call suggesting I was being very unreasonable and now that the work was done, I shouldretract my review on Angies list (it was automatically posted when I requested a rebate.) This is a revised review based on customer reality. I paid them and changed the review after Jimmy got them to come back out and get the leaves off a roof near the gutter that was cleaned. My suggestion to Everything Gutters is to simply do what they say and update people if it does not happen.

Because of holidays and weather conditions, this work was delayed for a few weeks. The service provider was responsive to inquiries and called ahead of time before they arrived as requested. The work was performed in about ten minutes time. Perhaps our gutters were cleaner than we had expected. Before using this service again, I will check to see if there is a need to clean the gutters or not.

The service was never exactly scheduled through the provider he just showed up one day. He billed us too much as he never took off the amount paid on the certificate bought through Angie's list. I had to point that out to him. He then showed up unannounced in December 12, 2014 and claims he cleaned our gutters which we never scheduled or asked for and is continuing to harass us to pay 145.00 for a service we did not want. Please remove this company from your services.

Provider cleaned the gutters. Provider also overbilled me by $85. Jim called me repeatedly and worked with me to refund my $85. It was a long experience but it was favorably resolved so I have no problem recommending this provider. They do a great job on your gutters.

When arrived was very polite and acknowledged who they were. Finished the job quickly and didn't even wake the baby!

It was difficult to connect with the service provider; took several calls. On finally connecting, provider did full-court press on trying to get me to sign up for regular future service. When appointment was finally set up, provider did not show as agreed, and when reached on phone said his employees were definitely at my house and did the job -- which was not correct. Eventually he agreed to come in person and work was done satisfactorily.

Professional on phone. Came without disrupting us and cleaned out all gutters. Price was very competitive.

The contractor arrived on time and cleaned my gutters. It took a very short time and I assume all the gutters are cleaned well. The man sent could have done a somewhat better job cleaning up the debris that fell from the front gutter. I had to do some pick up after he left.

Went well, he called and gave me prices for different sizes. Billing and payment for up charge was simple with PayPal.

Never called back to schedule the service; never provided the service. I would rather pay double to someone that is reliable and communicates with timely trusting expectations.

Two young men came unscheduled on a rainy day.They made a mess. The wet leaves and wet gutter dirt dirtied the windows,siding,deck.They partially cleaned the debris which came from the gutters.I used a coupon for $85 for 100 ft. of gutter.I was never told that I had more than 100 ft. of gutter and was charged $50 more.Owner did not follow-up.I'm still annoyed about the terrible service.I have to pay to have the windows and siding cleaned.

Within 48hrs of contact my gutters were clean!

Unable to find a mutually agreeable date. I found the gentleman I spoke with to be pleasant but not a good listener. He didn't seem to have any interest in my needs or requests; only wanting to impress me with his knowledge (which, of course, I had assumed from the beginning.) It quickly became apparent to me that I needed to find a different provider.
