Good work at a reasonable price

The estimate was timely and was the best price. The scope was complete. We waited a few weeks for the job to begin, but the job started promptly and the same 2 man crew was on from start to finish. They were very polite, cleaned up every day and in five days were complete with all the painting. They asked for us to do a walk through before they left and we only saw one small item and they fixed it right away before they left. Barely a sign they had been there once they left. Very happy.

The first crew that came out was a complete mess. They got paint on my carpet and hardwood floors. Then they said the were done and I could not believe it. They only put one coat on the trim and it looked like crap and was not what I paid for. I called and complained and the owner came out and looked at it. Then he said we were right and would send another crew out to redo it all. They came and redid the work and it looked good. But I still had paint on my carpet and wood floors. I cleaned the paint off the wood floors but I could not get it off the carpet. I ended up having to replace the carpet in the hallway. So I called and got an estimate and then called Ville painters to tell them. They said fine just deduct it from the balance for the paint work. So I deducted it and had the carpet replaced. Paying them the balance owed. Six months later I was shocked to find out they reported me to the credit bureau for not paying them. I promptly called them to inform them if this was not removed within 5 days from my credit report I would sue them under the fair credit act. It was removed within the 5 days

THE WORK WAS DONE WELL, THE PAINTERS WERE VERY NICE AND POLITE.

The upstairs job was decent. Although we weren't thrilled, we were satisfied enough to bring them back for the downstairs. Part of the reason was we were in a hurry due to getting the house prepped for sale. The downstairs job was another story. They had to return three times to fix mistakes which ranged from incredibly sloppy work, for so-called 'professionals', to not reading their own work order correctly. Finally, I just deducted from the bill and asked them never to return. Therefore, I would not recommend Ville.
