A terrific job. Estimate and work were both begun and completed on time, with none of the scheduling headaches I'd had with other providers. Work ended up about $2,000 UNDER estimate (always nice), and pricing was quite reasonable considering the amount of work required. Also happy to say they lived up to their claims regarding their no-damage approach: Place was in immaculate condition after they left, with no holes that needed patching. If it weren't for the new grounded outlets and a couple of new carbon monoxide detectors outside the bedrooms (to cover up some holes made for the work, nice idea), you wouldn't have even known they were there. All the outlets functioned and showed they were properly grounded, and they even fixed a few questionable wiring decisions made by previous owners (hallway light switch in the closet?) About as pleasant an experience as you could hope for with a contractor. Will definitely use again.

Because I was on a time crunch, he was not able to accommodate my schedule, therefore he did not give me a quote, but gave me sound advice. I appreciate his straight forwardness and would highly recommend him.

Arrived on the start date. Considering the difficulty involved with rewiring an older home,the work was done in a timely manner. Impressed with quality & professionalism displayed by the crew. Cleaned up at the end of each day, arrived on time every morning. Communicated well with me when I had any questions. Instead of rehanging any old fixtures that had seen better days, they recommended to replace them as needed. I had a quote from another electrical contractor & was told that there would be extensive patching to be done due to opening up holes in walls & ceilings. Stephen Daniels specializes in old home wiring without making any patching of holes. Excellent job done. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent! I promptly received Steve's estimate and work was scheduled for the following week. Workers were courteous and obviously knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning up after they were finished for the day. There were a few scheduling changes due to emergencies but I was contacted by phone and e-mail of changes.

Mr. Daniels came to come up with an estimate. I called twice after waiting several weeks. Monica told me he'd call tomorrow two different times. I waited from 10/29/2014 until 01/23/2015 and still haven't received the calls nor the estimate Mr. Daniels promised he'd send me by email.me to provide free estimate. What went wrong or why I don't know. No explanation was given. I was very courteous throughout. I do feel disrespected and Mr. Daniels has disrespected himself and his business.

Stephen came out to the house for my free estimate, and looked at the exposed knob and tube in the attic, checked the box in the basement, and tested the outlets and switches in the house. During that process he was pointing out various features of the older home, and it is clear that he is very knowledgeable about older houses. After finishing his work, he told me that the wiring had been abandoned so he did not recommend that anything be done. I'm always impressed when a service provider recommends that he doesn't get paid! We may still have his guys out to pull out the loose wires at some point.

They were terrific to deal with and were timely and thorough in their work. We have more electrical work to do and they will be the ones doing it.

If you have an older home look no farther than this company. The job they did was amazing. Professional work, and they even cleaned up any mess that was left behind. From rewiring to a new electircal panel and service and hanging a ceiling fan everything was first class. Older homes can be a problem, but for these guys it all seemed simple and straight forward. I can't say enough about pleased we are with their service, price and quality.

The gentleman who answered the phone was excellent. He said they were booked until next week. He suggested the owner come out and give an estimate and schedule a time convenient for both of us. The next morning the owner, Stephen, came at the scheduled time. After reviewing the project he gave me a very reasonable price and said he would do it then because it would not take too long. Stephen did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations! I would certainly use him again and have already recommended him to a friend.
