 + -1 morePaul called back mid Friday-AM and said they could fit our repair in by noon Friday....they repairman showed up on time, fixed the sink plumbing, and I received the invoice via email that following week. Although the 10% coupon from Angie's List caught my eye, it was the conversation with the owner of a plumbing company that wanted me to establish a business relationship. We live in a 30 year old home and it's comforting to me to have someone I can count on if we have a problem.
Description of Work: We got caught in a bind with a bathroom sink repair just before the New Year's holiday with a house full of family. We needed a plumber that day (Friday) or on Saturday. Based on reviews on Angie's List I searched for a local plumber. I called Swisher's contact number to see if there was any way someone could help us out before a scheduled vacation. Paul answered the phone and said they would love to help but couldn't until after the New Year. I scheduled another provider reluctantly. For some reason I trusted Paul based on our phone conversation.

Description of Work: They repaired some minor leaky pipes in my basement and split off the hot water to my kitchen sink and the dishwasher. Excellent service above and beyond what I had originally asked them to do; gave me "extra" plumbing advice on some issues that I have been having, and now I will call them back to fix and repair.

When we came downstairs to find a large puddle of water in the basement we found the source coming from an old rusty valve tapped into a copper pipe which fed water to the fridge upstairs. I called more than one company about the job but it was Paul at Swisher Plumbing who responded quickly and got the pipe repaired fast and did a great job at a great price. I would not hesitate to recommend Swisher to anyone looking for a plumber

 + 0 moreThe first thing that impressed me about SWISHER Plumbing and Heating is that they answered the phone when I called, just before 9pm!! I explained the problem to Paul, and he squeezed us into an already full schedule for the next day. Paul called just after 2pm on the scheduled day to let me know he was on his way. In the meantime, while reading the manual to my hot water heater, I discovered some information about a 'blower switch'. I turned it off, then back on, and the water heater fired up! When Paul arrived I told him what I had done and I apologized for having him waste a visit. He was very professional and extremely polite. He did a quick check to make sure everything was working OK and recorded the info on my water heater just in case there were any more problems. We talked for a few minutes, then I pulled out my checkbook to pay for a service call. Paul waved off any payment. No charge. That was a huge surprise! Because of their professionalism and their courtesy, and great customer service, Swisher has become my plumber of choice. Would I recommend these guys? You betcha!!

 + -1 moreThey were very prompt. I had a problem with the water line that made the ice taste funny so they came back out and replaced the line. It works fine and the ice is great. The price included the cost of another ice maker because the one I had wouldn't work with the freezer I have.

 + 3 moreCalled for repair, scheduled an appointment almost immediately (although Swisher was on another job at the time) and showed up on time. Required no supervision - called me as needed. Repair and faucet replacement were done professionally. Clean up was completed.
Description of Work: Repair of sink faucet and drain line. Had been leaking even though repaired by another plumbing company. Swisher fixed it properly and did an excellent job.
