handyman service, remodeling
+ 0 moreSet up the appointment for him to come out and do the job and he never showed and never picked up his phone or returned messages, never called me back.
Description of Work: He returned my call promptly and set a time to come do the work, but didn't show. Never called to say why, didn't any of my calls either. Total no show, no explanation.

+ 2 moreJim Jr called back quickly with a competitive quote, and I told him as soon as I heard from the other estimates I had scheduled, I would get back to him. Several days later, we decided to give Mr. Orange the job, and left a message on their phones (both numbers) to call us. We also ordered the fixtures from Lowes (>$3000). Mr. Orange never called back. I called and left messages daily for almost 2 weeks before Jim Jr called and said he had no time to do our job because he was too busy right now. I said OK, I can be flexible, when CAN you do the work. He said he would check on his schedule and get back to me later that day. That was more than a week ago. Needless to say I am very disappointed in such unfriendly & unprofessional conduct. I had already told the other bidders I had hired someone else, and I have laid out several thousand dollars for bathroom fixtures with no contractor to install them. So now when I think of Mr. Orange, I see red.
Description of Work: We live in a 55+ Senior Citizen community of private homes in Lancaster County. I requested an estimate on a full bathroom remodel on the Mr Orange website. They were slow to respond, saying that they had been out of town. They came and looked at the job, and asked how we heard about them. I told him I saw them listed in Angie's List. I explained that my wife had picked out her shower stall, commode, sink & medecine cabinet already at Lowes. Jim (Sr & Jr) said that was fine & even offered to pick them up at the store for us with their truck. They said they would get back to us shortly with an estimate. I also told them that this was the first of several remodeling jobs we planned on doing this year.
