Description of Work: Mr. Sparky and Angie's List did not disclose that Mr. Sparky cannot/will not operate in my jurisdiction, something I learned after paying for services. Very annoying, even though refund came through reasonably quickly.

Unfortunately, there is special licensing required to perform electrical work in that area. As of this time we are not certified for that work which is why we could not service your request. Description of Work: They installed a new dusk to dawn sensor on post light. They also installed a new light at front door. It cost me an extra $141.00 plus my 200.00 dollar credit to get those 2 jobs done. I thought it was a little expensive for those 2 jobs($341.00 total). They did a excellent job. The electrician was very professional.

First, thank you for inviting us into your home to do the requested electrical work. We do appreciate the opportunity to serve you. I’m glad that you had the opportunity to decline our services to install a bathroom fan. We make a practice of quoting the exact cost of the work to our customers before any work has begun for this very reason. In this case, you decided that moving forward was not the best decision for you and declined the service. We understand your decision and I think all parties appreciate knowing it upfront. This is one of our foundational customer service principles. I reviewed the situation regarding the light above the mirror with the electrician who was on site. He stated that he initially discussed the position of the new light with you and confirmed with you that it should be installed in the same place as the old light. After installing the light, it was indeed off of center. He understood that you did not like the new positioning and preferred that it was centered instead of installed in the existing holes from the old light. The electrician gladly accommodated this request with the warning that the old holes would then be revealed. He stated that this was the preferred location for you and moved the light accordingly. I am sorry if you were not satisfied with this outcome or experience. We do our best to provide great customer service but based on the details from our electrician the light situation was difficult to avoid. Thank you again for letting us know your feedback. If you would like to discuss this call further, we would welcome the opportunity.

Description of Work: I used a "Angie's List" coupon for what I expected to be a simple issue. Their tech. showed up within the promised time window, was extremely professional and courteous. Insisted on putting on "footies" to protect my nasty carpet. Dustan Rohrer was the perfect gentleman and knowledgeable professional. Never was there any attempt to "Up-sell" or pressure me into something that wasn't necessary. I'd recommend and definitely call this location/franchise of "Mr. Sparky" again for any future electrical problem or needs! VERY satisfied

Description of Work: Installed a new outdoor light, that had to have new wiring put up. Explained everything that they were going to do and asked if that's what I wanted. After installation went over all the settings of the light and even moved light fixture to where I wanted the light to shine. Very professional, polite, and competent.
