Mayapple did a great job trimming our bushes, cutting down trees, weeding and cleaning up the debris and giving us suggestions about what might look good in place of the trees taken down. We highly recommend them.

Morgan did an excellent job with the azaleas and other shrubs in the front of our home. Our bushes are left healthier and the appearance of our home is improved. I hope to have Morgan and Mayapple Native Landscaping back again in the spring to care for the other shrubs and bushes on the property.

I hired Morgan from Mayapple to renovate a yard at a multi-unit property. The yard was dreadful and mostly weeds. Since this is a tenant occupied property, I had three goals in mind: one - low maintenance; two - create a space to be enjoyable for the tenants, and 3 - reduce concerns about water since the yard is very flat and flanked by two other properties. When I met Morgan he introduced the idea of using native plants to revitalize gardens in the Lancaster area. I learned that native plants are very low maintenance since they are intended to grow in the local climate. Caring about the environment and the effects of inappropriate vegetation, I found this idea to be brilliant. It was clear that Morgan really understood the science behind his work. He also had vision quickly for the project based on my description. The end project is amazing! I am so excited to see everything bloom in the Spring/Summer/Fall next year. He designed an excellent patio using pavers I already had - great use of existing resources and my budget! He re-homed some trees that weren't great for this year - that made me super happy since they didn't go to the landfill. As for the water concern - he created a great rock feature that sort of act as a drainage run and it's super attractive! Job well done. I highly recommend Mayapple to anyone who wants to do better for their environment and for those who may not have the clearest vision of how to accomplish their projects.

Morgan was wonderful to work with! He takes his native plants seriously and was thoughtful and diligent planting three trees for us. I hope to use his business again in the spring.
