came to my home 3 times, and the job is still not done right.

It was going good till I went downstairs after the service man had left to turn the lights off and he left a mess of oil all over the place had a call Leffler office and another gentleman came out and work 45 minutes cleaning up the other man’s mess

Now that I am rid of this pathetic excuse for an energy company, I will tell my story. These people are all talk, promise, talk, promise, and absolutely no action whatsoever. The following is their idea of 24/7 service and support you can rely on in any weather. I called on Dec. 26th, 2017 inquiring when our automatic delivery was coming. (I should not have to do this, that is what automatic is supposed to be, you know, kind of.....automatic.) Tank #1 is empty & #2 is about 16%. Was told I was to receive a delivery on Dec. 22nd, but the driver ran out of propane before he got to us. They will come on Dec. 27th. I informed them that the delivery had to be made as we were leaving town to visit family. I am told, "It will be". Returned home Dec. 31st to NO heat, and a house filled with propane fumes. Tanks are empty and sucking air. Called 24/7 service, and it took over an hour on hold to get through. Bottom line--we have no one to come out, you are on your own. Try to get to you tomorrow. Had to drive to Harrisburg Walmart on New Years eve to buy enough electric heaters to try to save our plumbing. It is -9 degrees outside with a wind chill of -20 degrees. The afternoon of Jan. 1st a technician comes and just puts two hand held tanks of propane in out tank #1. He says he has no idea when we will get a delivery. Temperature in our house is 48 degrees. I called 24/7 non-service and was on hold forever. I was eventually told you will get your propane TOMORROW. It is scheduled for you, and oooh baby, we have 200 gallons on the truck just for you. The next day, NO SHOW. I called again and when I finally got through, I was told it will be TOMORROW. On JANUARY 3rd, 2018 we got our Dec. 22nd propane delivery. I sent a letter of compliant to the home office, about the complete failure of their most basic service, which was never replied to. I physically visited their office twice and was never able to speak to the general manager. (In meetings, I was told.) They sent someone out to talk to me, and they refused to read the copy of my original letter that I brought with. He said, "Just tell me what happened". He promised to talk to the general manager to 'see what they could do', and call me in the morning. Next day, morning came--and went. NO CALL. That afternoon I returned to the home office. This so called delivery manager told me the general manager offered a 50 cent discount per gallon on the delivery. He would not reimburse me for the cost of the electric heaters, as I still had them to use!! Seriously, I didn't need them until their massive screw-up! If I had them with me, I would have left them on their so called service counter--to give to the next poor sucker they do this to. Furthermore, On the day of delivery, I shopped the price with other providers, and every single one was at LEAST 50 cents a gallon cheaper than Patriot Propane. I refused the lame offer, and referred them back to my original letter. Credit me the cost of the repeatedly failed delivery to keep me as a customer. Nope, can't (won't) do that. This so call delivery manager told me, "Its not like we are letting you run out of gas all the time!" He literally stated, "We never let you run out before, did we?" I'm supposed to say to them, its o' tay, its o' tay, that YOU LEFT ME IN THE LURCH and endangered my family! This guy just kept talking about HIS business problems, the bad weather, etc. NOT MY PROBLEM. Your service failure is MY problem, and you are not listening, as even all that I endured, I am trying to reach a proper resolution. Beyond belief. Just so you know--I was a six year customer, bought my lifetime certified tanks from them, and was never in arrears. This review is only a synopsis. Giving the most relevant info, so hopefully others can be warned to steer clear of this lousy business that doesn't have a clue, what customer service actually is. It is not the words on your website, or the recorded message while you are on hold to customer non-service, it is what you actually deliver to the CUSTOMER.

Everything was great they came out when they said they would. We were almost out of fuel and today they filled up the tank. Had them for years.

Furnace was fixed and is running correctly now. They were very friendly and professional and resolved my problem asap; I have a service contract with them.

Showed up 3 days late after we ran out of heating oil. Customer service is horrible and rude. Phone lines always busy or disconnecting calls. Looking for new company.

They came out and fixed it. It is working fine now.

He has been here before. He told us there was no point in replacing it until it dies. I don’t have anything to compare the price to, so I would give them a B. I just go with Leffler’s because they have the 24 hour service. There are cheaper places to get fuel oil, but they don’t have the service. We have used them since 1976. There are places that offer cheaper fuel oil, I have investigated because I wanted to be honest about that. But they have no 24 hour emergency service, they may give you names of people who might come out, but I want people I can rely on, that I know I can rely on. They are very responsive, I have a 24/7 service contract with them. I was able to upgrade to a new heater because of the contract with them and they took off about $1500. There are benefits to being with a good company. Yes, I would use them in the future.

They realized the manufacture changed the configuration and this thing wasn't going to fit in my house. The guy drove more than 60 miles to get a replacement part for the original.

I think their pricing is fair compared to others I have talked to. I've always had good experiences with these folks.

They deliver our oil. Twice a year they check the A/C and the oil burner system and change filters if needed.

We have actually chosen Leffler Energy/Services as our go to company for our annual contract on our furnace and air conditioning unit as well as heat exchanger. We buy oil and use a guaranteed annual contract also for which we get the lowest price when we get our oil. This has been very advantageous for us for over 8 years. They fuel automatically according to use/computer, but when we had an exceptionally cold winter, we were getting low and though we were scheduled for the next week, they came that same week instead. Using them has been very satisfactory.

see above looked for quote on fuel oil to compare with my present supplier to see if I was getting the best price. I was stunned to learn Leffler was offering home heating oil at $.60 cheaper per gallon than my current supplier, Keystone Oil. I also quoted ABC and Eschenauers . Leffler was 20 and 40 cents cheaper respectively... Also, they offered $100 discount on first purchase. My experience with the customer service person was excellent....... so no experience with service and delivery, but the price is worth switching for.....

Everything went smoothly and efficiently. We hhave used Leffler Energy nearly 20 years. Had maintenance contracts on heating system, hot water heater, and air conditioner. They are dependable and offer 24/7 for service calls. Servicemen are knowledgeable and professional.

Fine. I have a service contract with this company, so if we ever have an emergency, they are for us 24/7. The annual service covers cleaning and replacement of various parts if they break. When we were young, my husband did maintenance on our old furnace, but as we got older that became too much for him. This is a much better way to handle things. Plus we bought our new furnace through Lefflers, and because of our contract, we saved 50% of the cost of a standard style. I chose to upgrade to a better style, but still saved a substantial portion of the cost.

The technician arrived a bit late, but I was informed about the delay. He tried several things to get the 21 year old compressor to kick in again, but it just wasn’t going to work. At my request he called for a sales rep to contact me ASAP as my husband has COPD so air conditioning can be critical. Sales rep came the next day to evaluate for and price a new unit. I’m now waiting for the call to schedule installation of the new unit. The sales rep assured me we would be fast-tracked because of the COPD issue. Fortunately the weather is cooperating after the terrible heat wave.

They did a very good job. We have never had a issue with them not coming when they said they would.

The techs were efficient and effective.

All went well. Serviceman arrived on time, professional in appearance and in his manner. Discussed what he did to the unit prior to leaving. He was knowledgeable, efficient and thorough.

We've used Leffler ever since we moved into our home 3 years ago. We had some billing issues with them in the past but decided to stick with them until our experience this week. On Sunday I noticed that our tank was reading low so I called them to see when the next scheduled delivery would be. They informed me that I was scheduled for Monday. Monday came and went with no delivery, so I called them Monday evening. The person I talked to assured me that if we didn't get oil that night (Monday night), then we'd get it first thing Tuesday morning. Well, Tuesday morning came and went and I called Tuesday at noon to see what the issue was. I was informed that the truck should be there in the afternoon and was told that they instructed dispatch regarding delivery since we were expected to receive icing and have a longer driveway. Tuesday afternoon and evening came and went with no delivery. Finally on Wednesday at around noon we received delivery. After this delivery I called and canceled service. It's important to note that during this time we did not run out of oil, thankfully. However, I did not appreciate being told on multiple occasions that oil was coming when it wasn't. Additionally, Leffler typically runs around 20 to 50 cents per gallon higher than ABC Fuel Oil, who we use for our other property. ABC Fuel Oil has always had oil to us within a day or two of calling and has met the dates they've given us. Leffler representatives are very kind on the phone but I do not appreciate being given false information with no follow-up when they don't meet the dates they promise. This misinformation along with higher prices has caused us to leave.

I would have prefered that they not fill tank so it would sit all spring and summer especially that the prices dropped.

They did an excellent job for us in both homes. They were more reasonable compared to others we checked out. The salesman and installers were professional and hard workers.

They installed the entire system, the home didn't have air conditioning when we moved in. I would recommend them to others for their services.

They did everything fine. Scheduling an appointment was good. There were two people here doing the work. The price was competitive.
