I had shopped around for pricing from other companies and Leffler was recommended by several neighbors and friends.I am very happy with the products they installed and the maintenance service they provide.

Description of Work: They have delivered our heating oil and have provided furnace and air conditioning service for the last 15 years. The oil prices are a little higher than some and scheduling timely annual service is sometimes difficult (they are usually very busy during peak times). But their responsiveness and quality for repairs and problems is outstanding. Knowing that they will never leave us without heat or A/C, we will continue using them for the foreseeable future.

Description of Work: We didn't have heat on 3/5 (the day of the snow) we called late afternoon -got a callback from technician pretty quick - came to check early that evening.

Description of Work: Installed High Efficiency Burnham MPO-115 oil burner, new 12 gauge fuel oil tank in January 2009. Multiple problems with installation. Aug./Sept 2010 discovered evidence of black soot behind furnace. Worker came out and changed fuel nozzle. Still evidence of powdery soot. Company told us it was normal with oil burners. Black smoke poured from chimney. Worker came again. Discovered water feed valve was closed. Changed fuel nozzle. We paid chimney service company to come and inspect. Flue was loaded with soot accumulation. Note: new flue from another company was installed in Jan 2009 with the new boiler. There should not have been the pile up that there was inside the flue. Insisted on Burnham rep being involved. Too many different workers in our home. Problem after problem for 3 years. Sent letter to CEO and never got a response from him. Horrible experience and costly. We lost sleep worrying about a fire, money from lost wages and needing to be at home with technicians, costs for having chimney service. Will never use again and would never recommend their company to anyone.

Description of Work: They are my oil service provider. I'm pleased overall with the company. Their billing is somewhat screwy if you use their automated credit card payment system. The balance shown is not the real balance even if you use the calculations printed on the bill. Hard to describe but it can be difficult to follow.

Description of Work: Service furnace. The service engineer knew what he was doing, was prompt and cleaned up after himself.

Description of Work: Leffler was my oil provider and serviced my boiler for 5+ years. The technicians were very polite and knowledgeable. |However the customer service department was horrible. I chose to convert to gas so I wouldn't have to haggle for a compareable service plan and oil price anymore. Leffler only worked with me when I called to cancel service. They asked what deal I got, then magically they came up with a better offer then the competitor. The customer deserves best offer during the first call (5 calls) and their time is valuable. Leffler's payment plan system has you pay a certain amount every month the entire year. I wanted to pay each oil fill in installments of three. I didn't want to drag out payments or pay for oil during the summer months before receiving it. |Also, bills didn't come regularly, often I had to call to have them remove the late fees because original bill was never received. Although they never hesitated to remove the fees, having to do this over and over again was frustrating. |Save yourself the hassle and choose a different company.

Description of Work: Date is guesstimate. |Leffler is my oil supplier. I have furnace maintenance plan as well. Always very responsive and helpful. Customer service and billing team are excellent! I've used Leffler for years, originally SICO. Changed provider for one season based on promotional pricing of competitor and returned to Leffler after pricing of competitor increased substantially. |Only complaint: I've never rec'd the filter that, from what I understand, should come with annual furnace maintenance check.
