The technician was running a little late but I was updated in a timely manner. The receptionist was very pleasant! The problem was fixed quickly and he even fixed another minor problem with the door. The technician was very professional and nice! Great company - highly recommend!

We were not happy with Lancaster Door Service at all. We decided to go with a more expensive door expecting to get a premium service reflecting the price. Instead, our door has major draught on the bottom and the side and the two locks are not keyed to our main house key (as we had specified in the contract). We took a video showing smoke from an incense stick in the draught; we cannot upload the video to this review but you can clearly see the strong draught in it. On the installation day, they said they would come back and fix everything. That did not happen. We have called Lancaster Door Service 4 times (!!!) and every time they promised to get back to us, which they never did. We wish we have gotten a door from Lowes for half the price.

There were very friendly and efficient . They were also very informative when explaining functions of the installed product.

The process went well. They showed up on the assigned date and time and went right to work. They were polite and professional and did a great job start to finish and with the clean up. I would highly recommend them.

The technician, Andy, quickly diagnosed the problem as a shredded motor drive belt. He retrieved a new belt from his well organized, stocked service van and made the repair. Andy also adjusted our garage doors to insure proper operation. We were very pleased with his knowledge and work ethic as well as his pleasant manner.

They were able to give me a same day appointment to check the operation of one garage door. I asked the technician to inspect and service both garage doors, which he did checking all the moving parts and wiring. When I told the technician that I was interested in a keyless entry pad he said he had them on the truck and could install one while on the service call. The technician was both personable and professional - he performed his work efficiently and had both doors functioning smoother and with less noise. The keyless entry works well and I was very pleased with the service I received from both the office staff and technician. I plan to use this company for general maintenance as well as any needed repairs.

Very pleased with this service call. No one tried to sell me more then was necessary and the job was done in a reasonable amount of time. Andy did a great job and was very personable. I would defiantly recommend this company to anyone.

The installer took extra effort in explaining things. It was a replacement door and it had an opener on it. He checked it out. He was very personable. He wasn’t like slap it on and get out of here type thing. I would definitely use them again. Their price was fair. They were right on time.

The company arrived on time, actually a few minutes early. They replaced the cables and runners on my garage door opener which were completely broken. They were professional, told me about the process, negotiated with the insurance company, and did an excellent job. I called them again when the light did not go off, and they talked me through how I could manually turn it off. Then, the latch on my front door, storm door broke off. This was unrelated to the first call. I had been so pleased witht heir work, I called them about buying a new storm door. They suggested a quick repair first, which they walked me through. Believe me, when I need a new door, I will only call this company. They could have tried to sell me all manner of things but they didn't. They were honest and really helped me out. I am a loyal customer for life!

It went great! We put in a new garage door several years ago and it never worked properly, until we called this company. Their technician is a whiz, he fixed everything that was wrong (and apparently there was quite a lot). It works like a dream now, smooth, quiet. Only wish we would have done it much sooner!

Went well. A few weeks afterward however, a bolt had fallen out of the rail and the door was not working properly. When I called in, they responded quickly, sending someone out the next day to fix it. This technician (Kelly) was also very polite , very personable and was quick and cleaned up after himself. He even took the time to wipe fingerprints from the wall and to straighten the button that was mounted on the wall. A small issue, but it showed his attention to detail.

LDS came and services my doors and everything looking good .. with-in few weeks I was getting some strange noise and LDS came and fixed issue for free, and since then it's all running well..

I called Lancaster Door Service first thing Monday morning as the spring broke Sunday evening. The customer service was excellent and an appointment was scheduled for a two hour block in the early afternoon of the same day. The repairman came early within the timeframe and was very professional, competent, and friendly. I was pleased with the quick response and the service.

My parents garage door broke and I used Angie's List to source a contractor. My Dad called Lisa on Monday and was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Kelly arrived precisely on-time and immediately got to work diagnosing the issue. Kelly was cordial, polite and extremely professional. After diagnosing the need for a new spring, Kelly quickly replaced the spring and reset the garage door cables. My Dad asked Kelly about the non-operational lights on the garage door opener, which Kelly took the time to explain and replace. The service was efficient, on-time professional and priced well - what more could you ask for? My Dad does not rave about many service contractors, but he certainly appreciated the service he received from Kelly and Lancaster Door Service. We would highly recommend them and they will certainly be our first call for any door-related service needs!!

Called and arrived early, repaired overhead garage door in a timely manner (approx. 1 hour). Lubricated other garage doors. Very professional service.

I would give them the highest grade you can give them on each. They showed up on time. They're very professional. They did it in a reasonable amount of time. They fixed some things that needed fixed otherwise on the door which wasn't addition. They didn't charge me for it. They cleaned everything up. They took everything away and came back a week later to check on it so that was great.

They arrived EARLY and did the work promptly. I was very impressed by their level of service.

Went very well. The technician noticed some manufacturing defects on the face of the door that were very minor and insisted on ordering replacement parts. I was very pleased with this. I have dealt with other companies who would have tried to pass off or ignore such imperfections. The tech came out about a week later to finish the job and it was only then that we paid the final balance.
