Klausmair Construction

When I try to go to their web site my Anti virus program warns me that it is a dangerous site. I emailed them about this but never got a reply. Are they a legitimate company?

The roof on the entire condo complex was replaced in August of 2018. The workmen ship was extremely sloppy! The roofers left nails/screws everywhere. Needless to say our car tires were in danger! When asked about this they replied that’s what happens when a roof is replaced!! My neighbor physically picked up twenty two nails in the parking lot! A few months after the roof was finished I noticed three different areas of my condo had water marks on the ceilings . I contacted the condo association whom sent a handy man over to inspect the situation. He assured me that there was an issue with the roof replacement. We then contacted Klausmair to report the damages. Two young men showed up at my condo only to deny any wrongdoing! They were extremely disrespectful to me as a woman let a lone a home owner. The men told me if the wind blows the wrong way I would get water in the condo!! I’m almost positive that the wind will continue to blow and I find it hard to believe that the wind only blew on my condo since I’m connected to five other condos that had not gotten water on their ceilings! Low and behold after denying my claim to fix my water stains. They returned at a later date to replace/install the roof boot which was not installed at the time of the roof replacement! Just about two weeks ago now a shingle blew off the roof not sure what will happen with that problem!! I would like to warn anyone looking for a roof replacement to go to a professional that will guarantee their work for the duration or the warranty!! This company were so unprofessional and degrading I don’t know if I would have them put a roof on a dog house let a lone my home!! Thank you!

They did a great job. Roof went up within 2 days. No issues. The crew cleaned up the area. Would recommend to anyone.

Called last week to set up a time for today 3/24/2017 @ 10 am for Kurt to come look over the job and give me an estimate. He NEVER showed up! Unless he had an unavoidable emergency then he should have called me to postpone the meeting. However, it is more likely that he got a more elaborate and tempting job than my measly installation of dryer vent hose to be vented outside and just blew me off. I heard my friends tell me about contractors who don't show, but never had it happen to me until now. Do think twice before calling this company.

The company did a superb job. Through every stage of the replacement process, Klausmair's associates were extremely professional and exceptionally helpful. They responded quickly to my request for an inspection, answered all my questions, and went out of their way to arrange for the re-roofing to take place when I wished. The roofers arrived on schedule and worked tirelessly through the cold, dreary weather, completing the job carefully but with amazing efficiency. At all times, they were friendly, courteous, and concerned with causing me as little inconvenience as possible. In contrast to many roofers I've heard about, these gentlemen were scrupulously attentive to detail, making certain the project was perfectly, beautifully done. Not so much as a stray fragment of paper was left behind by the roofers, but since they'd worked in muddy conditions, as soon as the weather improved, they returned to clean the sidewalk, driveway, and porches in case any sign of their presence remained. I've seldom had the good fortune of dealing with a company so dedicated to both pleasing its customers and offering them the best possible price. Without the slightest reservation, I'm delighted to give Klausmair Construction my highest recommendation.

They were 6-1/2 weeks late. The replacement roof was to be finished in October. They never showed up to do it until December. They ended up replacing my roof while there was snow and ice on it because we've had early snow this December. Even worked one day while it was snowing. While working on one section of the roof on Dec. 13, from all the hammering and pounding a picture fell off the wall in the room underneath where they were working. It hit and tore a lampshade, then crashed onto my desk where the glass in the picture frame shattered. I immediately reported this damage and took photos of the damage to be compensated. The owner of the company was quick to refuse to take responsibility for the damage or pay any compensation. He actually wrote that and quot;for all he knew I had put the picture up with chewing gum and duct tapeand quot; and basically said it was my fault it fell from the vibrations caused by their working on my roof. The picture had been hanging in that spot for several years and was hung properly with a nail and hook. Good companies will reimburse you if they cause damage while working on your home, even if it is accidental and not deliberate. But this company refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused and refused to compensate for it. There is NO WAY I would recommend this company to anyone. The compensation amount I requested was $99.

It was very good. They showed up on time. They cleaned up constantly so there's not a big mess at the end.

Very happy with the work, the professionalism and the result. Temperature upstairs and downstairs is now equal! Previously it had been several degrees warmer on the 2nd floor.
