Joe came out for the first go round and had his incredibly talented Jason with him and another employee. Joe had to leave to finish another job but took the time to co e say Hi & personally introduce the other painter. When he left, I was fine...especially knowing how talented & professional Jason was! Jason tackled the bedroom and before he started, he removed all switch plates, outlet covers, etc. and took a great deal of precautions to ensure that none of our furniture our hardwood floors had so much as a speck of paint anywhere but on the walls. When he was done (BTW, MUCH sooner than his lesser talented counterpart), he put everything back together & replaced all outlet covers, switch plates, etc. The other employee, (I believe his name was Joe also) took his sweet time, didn't do anything Jason did for prep & finish and spoke negatively about his boss, Joe Mini, for the majority of the day. The previous owners of this home were the original owners and had thankfully, updated the house so we didn't walk into an avocado green or brown or gold kitchen. However, even though we had all new white appliances, they had painted the kitchen in a pale yellow (which was beautiful), but they had used a flat paint...a disaster for a kitchen! Any spills or spatters on the paint and when time to clean it up, the paint would come off the wall! We had previously used JSM for our ceilings because of random black, dirty areas. same thing in our kitchen on the ceiling and walls. Between the painting of the ceilings and this job, we had replaced ALL the windows that were very old and problem solved! However, when other employee painted, all he did was smear the first and the kitchen just looked like a dirty yellow. I called Joe Mini, owner, immediately...the color wasn't even close and he had just smeared the dirt. Joe apologized vehemently, came out and took a look and said he would correct it at no additional charge to us if he had to co e out and do it himself! I assured him that wasn't necessary if Jason or another qualified employee came out and he purchased more paint on his nickel and this time he sent someone named Ray out. Ray did a better job but used an INORDINATE amount of paint and although it looked better, he had wet paint all over home and was in such a hurry to leave...two or three hours early, he smeared paint all over the inside of the storm door at the front door. Again, I called Joe Mini more to inform him of what happened, the paint all over the door and his leaving after five and a half hours and that included an hour for lunch yet he told Joe he was here for the full day. Joe handled both employees appropriately! Having said all that, Joe Mini is a fantastic commercial and residential painter, he is incredibly professional and friendly, and has an abundance of integrity. No way willtwo bad apples spoil the bunch....we will be hiring him again for our next project and all the others to come!

Joe did not perform the work for me. My original post in which I gave him a grade of F was not for the quality of his work since he performed no work for me. See explanation above. Based on his conversation this morning explaining the error to me I would not hesitate to hire him if I were in his designated area,I'm sure he would do a fine job.

We checked various online review sites, visited web pages and got our estimates. We decided to go with a local Lancaster company that had exceptional reviews. We did pick out our own paint and had specific days needed for the job. Joe was able to accommodate all our requests including keeping the noise to a minimum. The workers were on time, professional and courteous. The finished job exceeded our expectations. I definitely would recommend and use JSM again. Thank you Joe for a great job!

Jason arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and worked diligently painting the entire first floor of the house including ceilings. We had already spackled, sanded, and washed walls prior to his arrival, plus moved all of the furniture away from the walls and removed the electrical plates from the outlets, so all he had to do was paint. We also opted to use the same type and color of paint (Swiss Coffee) on every surface. Jason didn't take a lunch break (even though suggested) and completed the work by 4 p.m. He then packed his equipment and left, but not before first offering to assist me moving the heavier furniture back into place. I highly recommend this company for their exceptional service.

Two men completed the job in 2 1/2 days and did a wonderful job. The difficult part of painting after wallpaper is making sure the glue is off the walls and they a great job of getting the glue off. They also repaired lots of curves, dings, chips, slices in the wall that were hidden behind the paper. I would definitely hire again. (Note: I also felt very comfortable leaving them to work in my home alone while I was at work.)

Very well; the work was neat; they cleaned up after and even helped me take down and put up a large mirror, which was not in the contract. Very considerate and good interpersonal skills.

Joe was great to deal with - very responsive to phone calls, and did a fabulous job with the painting. Joe is very professional and just a good guy. Would definitely rehire - in fact I asked him for a quote for other painting work while he was here.

JSM Painting had been recommended to us by several people & we were told by more than one person that they were on AL w/excellent reviews, AL certified and many positive reviews! I looked and saw pics & LOADS of good reviews...this was a "no brainer" purchase for me of one of his 20 hr. Deals! He came to give us an estimate of how much time it would take and how much and what type of paint we would need where. We started with the ceilings he Nd his employee and past co-worker/friend, Jason, arrived promptly on time and after a few minutes of mandatory play with our Golden Retriever puppy, Baxter, they were going strong. They did a BEAUTIFUL job and within 10 hours (x 2 people= 20 hrs), we reimbursed Joe for the paint and booked him for a second job...right there, on the spot! Can't say enough good things about Joe Mini and Jason, who is more than likely a subcontractor. But I must tell you, my neck hurt for a week, walking around just looking at the beautiful work they did! Please, give Joe the opportunity to do the work for you and you will not regret it. And, know that no matter how Small or "nit-picky" about something you might seem, I saw one small area that I thought they had missed (in a not so well lit room), Joe reassured me it was the same and if it wasn't he would come back & correct it himself AT NO ADDITIONAL charge!). Turns out he is the pro he seems, because when everything was completely dry and sunlight came thru window next morning, TAH-DAH, no problem. It was, indeed, perfect! A great guy, a great company and a great and fair price...with or without the deal!

After a few mix-ups with the scheduling, the painting began. He was courteous, professional, talented and quick. Well worth the money.

I usually do my own painting, but did not want to tackle the two story walls. I was so impressed with the work that I may never paint again! I will definitely be calling JSM Painting back for more work!

The job went very smoothly, Joe takes his work seriously and works quickly and neatly. Extremely pleased with the end result. Please bear in mind that I purchased my own paint and I always buy Benjamin Moore paints which are more expensive than most, but I believe that the higher quality of their products justify the cost.

Joe did an outstanding job! He is a very nice person who takes pride in his work - which was excellent! He likes painting so much that one of his hobbies is oil painting! Pet friendly - he bonded so well with my dog that he is my new pet sitter!

He worked logically through a lot of small projects and accomplished more than we thought possible in two days. As he left each room, everything was back in place and spotless. The paint job was flawless.

Joe was friendly and outgoing. Even played with my dog while he was taking a break.

Joe is great. He showed up prepared, his work was excellent and he cleaned up when he was done. He went above and beyond, in my opinion, by being willing to come on a Saturday after we had a scheduling conflict. He also let me pick his brain while he worked and was more than willing to show me some tips. It was nice to see that he really does enjoy the work. We will definitely have him back to do some more painting.

Joe did an excellent job and will work around your schedule. We needed our living room and basement painted in two weeks, so we could list our house for sale. Joe came out in a week and did an amazing job. I could not have asked for a better painter. Perfect straight lines, smooth, and perfect colors. Absolutely beautiful job. He is also very reasonability priced. You will not find a better painter out there.

Joe was extremely professional and his work shows it. He clearly explained issues as they cropped up and offered advice readily. For a third of the price of some of his competitors Joe was able to deliver a truly beautiful home that my family will enjoy for decades to come. Will absolutely be calling him when we want to finish some additional rooms and do any touch-ups. Great find!

We are thrilled with the results! Joe is a hard worker and very reliable. He was prompt with communication and did an excellent paint job on our porch. He came highly recommended and we are so happy with his work.

Everything went amazingly well. My husband was reluctant to bring in a contractor to paint. I convinced him, and we hired JSM. My husband, ever the critic, was extremely impressed with the finished product; he couldn't come up with a single criticism! Mr. Mini was professional, courteous, friendly, honest and willingly provided his expert advice when we asked for it. Not only was the job finished ahead of schedule, but the freshly painted walls were the only evidence that JSM had been there.

Looks great!!! Responded to call quick and was finished with job earlier then I expected. Will use again for future painting jobs:)
