Quality Asphalt did an amazing job replacing our old driveway at a very fair price. I am extremely happy with them and would highly recommend their services!

Beware. Deceptive. I Just had my driveway repaved by Jim's Paving. When I spoke with Jim Jr., the owner, I asked him explicitly if there was a fee for paying via credit card. He said "No." They came and did the job and he went to charge my credit card and told me that there's a $100+ fee. I reminded him that he told me there wasn't a credit card fee and he told me that they don't charge a fee but the service he uses does. When I told him that he was deceptive he turned into a hot head and starting yelling and making a scene outside my house. He claimed he didn't know a fee would be charged by his merchant provider. Come on, he's the owner of the company and doesn't know something like that? If you decide to use this guy, be careful in your dealings with him and get everything in writing.

In August, I scheduled my driveway to be paved by Jim’s paving. They requested payment upfront. ( big mistake). My driveway has a 6ft x 5 ft section that has scrape marks and looks terrible. I took pictures and called Jim. I was told that is how it’s supposed to look. Also, Jim’s paving crew took the asphalt that they scraped from my driveway and placed a lot of it over top of the flowers and mulch near my mailbox. My flowers also appeared to be run over. A few of my neighbors came to see my newly paved driveway and relayed to me that my driveway should not look like that. I am a recent widow. I’m assuming if I were a man, he would not try to tell me that it’s supposed to look like it does. I have text Jim and was told that he will seal coat it to help rectify the scrape marks. He also told me someone would be out to remove the stones/ asphalt that was deposited by my mailbox flowers. It’s now the end of October. The work was done in August! I have called and left messages 3x to no avail. No one gets back to me. I wish I would have read previous reviews. Jim’s paving has taught me to never give the full amount before seeing the completed work.

When estimae was being done Jim Jr. gave 2 quotes 1 for a 10 - 15 year driveway and then another for a 15+ year driveway. We opted for the more expensive driveway that he said would last longer. He included in the price the cost of base rock that was never used in the project. His crew came out and during the dig out, they cut the electrical to our lamp post. Jim Jr. came right out and advised that he would take care of it. Open electrical outside, not the best to leave exposed, I waited 48 hours and then capped it to keep it dry since it was going to rain. the electrican came out and was great! even hired to do extra work... Now our forever driveway was completed 2 weeks later since the ground had to settle. We waited 10 days before parking on it, 3 more then we were told to. After 3 months we saw ruts forming where we park cars. we called and was told that its normal settling. during the winter the whole driveway lifted 1/2 inch and the ruts were now becoming large areas that were at a noticeably lower then the rest of the pavement. The company closes during the off season, which is ok, they cant work int he winter. But I called in the spring March and it took 3 calls to get Jim Jr out to look at the damage. When he did come out in April he spent 30 minutes yelling about how normal this is and asking me what I wanted him to do about it, at the end he advised that he would put a oil based seal on it to keep it from lifting as that would fix most of the problems. It is now July and we have not heard back about the seal coating. our driveway is sinking worse and worse and their 2 year guarantee is a joke since the owner will yell at you and tell you that there is nothing wrong, even if the issue is obvious.

Very late to do the work but very quick to ask for the deposit!

I had a pole barn built and needed my driveway widened. I had one guy come out and want to top coat my old driveway and then widen the new part. As always I had several estimates done. At first I was worried because I called the answering company twice and never received a call. I sent a message via Angie's List and Jim Jr. replied immediately to the message. He then called and was at my house within an hour to perform the estimate. He explained that the top coating way was impossible and that any rain water would run in my house. He explained the need to remove my old driveway, let the base dry out, re-excavate the whole thing, and then pave it all. His price was obviously a little higher than the "other guy" but everything he said made sense and because I had a beautiful pole barn built my theory is this. If I am going to do it I am doing it right...and I must say choosing Jim's Paving I did it right. Even the edges of the driveway look fantastic. The crew arrived right around 8am and went right to work and I would say by around noon a 4000 sq ft. area was paved. They were very neat and cleaned up everything.

If you like your siding and garage doors splattered with seal coat, this is the guy for the job. Along the curb was a small gap that was to be sealed as per estimate and they had to come back a second time.

I am very pleased with the quality of the service I received. The entire process starting with the initial phone call, through interaction with the estimator, and the actual repair went smoothly. Everyone I talked with was professional and courteous. The repair was high quality. The crew took care to avoid any damage to the surrounding yard and ensured the work site was clean after the job was completed. I wouldn't hesitate to use Jim's Paving again.

I am happy with the finished product. Driveway looks great!

Jim and crew were professional and on time The work was great and they cleaned up afterwards. Jim even used his bobcat to grade the dirt excavated from the additional parking area for no extra charge.

not so hot...

There were a couple of issues and they would call back back about them and even come out to take a look at the problems. However, they never came back to reslove the issue! 5/15/15. Jim's Paving called to apologize and promptly came out and patched problem areas, they also resealed our entire driveway at no cost to us as a goodwill business gesture.

Over all they did an excellent job. Very proffesional and courteous. Manager was there at the start and stopped in during the job to ensure everything was going right. They also followed up after the job to see if we were happy with the work and to provide information on how to care for our new driveway.

They were my first choice and the first company I called. I had to wait a few weeks to get an estimate. I had 2 other companies come out to give estimates before my appointment with Jim, but I still ended up going with Jim! The customer service was great. All around a great experience.

From the start to the finish I was pleased with Jim's Paving. After calling him up initially, I got voice mail which informed me he was not in but would call me back shortly. He was as good as his word and called me within a few hours. We discussed my project and set up a possible date for its completion. Much to my surprise he called me back 4 days later and asked me if I would be available for his workers to come the next day to do the work. I said I would and two of his men were there bright and early the next day. They put on a coat of hot oil covering and did a beautiful job. I am quite impressed with how my driveway now looks. The entire job took less than an hour. To top it off the following Monday (the job was done on Saturday) Jim Jr. called me up to ask if I was satisfied with all the work that was done. Really appreciated that. I would recommend him for all your driveway jobs!

It was good. The price was very reasonable. I was happy. They got back to me at every point every way. I would absolutely use them again.

I called and ask for a quote. The lady on the phone took my name, address, phone number and told me someone would contact me and measure my driveway. No one ever contacted me. I had my driveway taken care of the next week by a different company.

While it took a while for them to actually start the work due to weeks of rain, when they finally came they did exactly what was agreed upon. The workers were diligent and respectful. Price was very reasonable.Would use again.

Jim was prompt with the estimate and managed to squeeze in the paving before the cold weather set in. My old driveway had settled and when it rained the water ran toward the foundation and into my basement. The crew graded the driveway properly and widened it to allow for more parking. The crew was very professional and careful with their work. I have flower beds along the driveway and nothing was disturbed. I received quality paving at a very good price. Jim also followed up a few days later to be certain the job was done properly and to my satisfaction.

It went great. They came out promptly when we called for an estimate. Once we decided to go ahead with the job, they scheduled us and showed up when expected.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH JIM'S PAVING!! Our residential driveway is a steep 25% grade with 3 car parking at the top. We had potholes and deep cracks throughout the 30 year old driveway. Jim Jr. was able to give us an estimate that blew the competition from 4 other paving companies out of the water by 50% less cost!! I was a bit skeptical because he was so much cheaper than everyone else. However we could not be more pleased with the quality of work, price, punctuality, professionalism, and overall service of Jim's Paving!! MY DRIVEWAY LOOKS GREAT!! THANK YOU JIM JR FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THE JOB RIGHT AND WITH CARE AS IF IT WERE YOUR OWN DRIVEWAY!! JIM'S PAVING IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!
