HomeOne moved the door striker closer to the door striker, without any issues. The door is snug against the door jamb and is sealing out the air that was leaking around the door. The project was completed in less than 30 minutes. The minimum time charged by HomeOne is 2 hours. I didn't have any other work for the contractor to do, so had to pay the minimum for a minimal amount of work accomplished. So I may have been able to do better on the price. However, the other highly rated contractor I called was busy and had a 2 month backlog. HomeOne was able to come within a week of quoting the work and complete the task. I decided to go with HomeOne because I was losing money having cold air leak through the door. Mission accomplished!

They were prompt, efficient, and easy to work with. Took just a few days.

We are extremely pleased with the professionalism and courteous manner in which Tom and his men resolved a multitude of damage in our home from water damage. Tom walked us through all the fine details of what had to be done which alleviated some of the anxiety and frustration we were feeling. He followed up with emails and phone calls, always making sure we were aware of what to expect with the restoration process. Over a course of 5 months, Tom and his men tediously, efficiently, and graciously repaired and remodeled our home and we are so very pleased with the finished project. His men did an excellent job each day and always cleaned up afterwards so when I came home from work there was no cleaning for me to do. Tom and his men needed to replace tiles in the basement ceiling, sand, spackle, and paint walls, tear up and redo walls and flooring on the first and second floors. They also removed an old toilet, sink and cabinet replacing them with new fixtures. It was messy, noisy, and inconvenient, but Tom and his men worked diligently to accommodate our family's needs. We are very happy with the final product and appreciative of Tom for making the process as painless as possible. We highly recommend Tom and his company and look forward to doing business with him in the future!

The whole proceedure went well. After Tom and I got done playing phone tag we set up and appointment for him to see what I wanted done. He was very professional, with a great attitude. He sent me an estimate a few days later and then we set up an appointment to start the work. Tom, Jeff and Austin we on time and started right away getting the job done. The two contractors Jeff and Auston) were very professional and did an excellent job. I will definitely use HOME ONE again, I have alot of work for them to do. I am pleased with their work.

The repairs were completed on a timely basis. The staff was professional and punctual. I recommend this service to my neighbors and friends.

I was very pleased with the work they did. Compared to other handymen I've hired, they did a better job with the quality of work and they cleaned up after themselves. Although the price was a little higher than what we hoped for, the job was worth ever penny. I am already making a list of other jobs I would like to hire them for...worth the money!

Tom came to our house and gave us an estimate for a partial basement remodel into a home gym. We ultimately decided to postpone this project for the time being but we were very impressed with the level of professionalism, friendliness, thoroughness and ability to listen to our needs in giving us a very fair estimate. When we do decide to pursue this project, we will definitely use this company!

I was happy with all the work except for the carpet issue. His workers were great but the situation was not handled properly.

Home One Home Improvements were prompt in getting the quote to me and called once or twice to see if there's any questions I might have. They gave me some samples.

They were very prompt and professional. If I needed to ask a question, they answered. If parts were needed (and not available on the truck), someone went to get them. The only issue that I have is that in the replacement of a dimmer switch cover. They stabilized the cover, but didn't caulk around the stabilization.

I had purchased an Angie's List promotion offered by Home One Home Improvement of $99 for three hours of labor. When the quote was received, I hadn't realized that the $99 had already been deducted and I agreed to pay $190. The work was performed well with no issues or concerns. When I received the bill, I realized I still owed $190 more dollars. I thought it would be $190 minus the $99. Most of the effort was labor (glue and screws were needed) and I had already paid for 3 hours of labor. I followed up to gain a better understanding as to how many hours were required to complete the job, but to no avail. So I still can't understand how another $190 in labor was needed. All of my concern pertained to the office staff. The handyman who performed the job did it very well. Since I would love to have a company that I could rely on, I dismissed the issue and decided that I should take responsibility for the confusion. I had a lightning strike over the summer that did some major damage to a side door in my garage. I called Home One for a quote for this issue and again had confusion with the quoting process and Kyle Wimer. He had given me a quote which I then asked to have updated with them adding to the quote to do some minor electrical work. The new quote went up by $790, (from $2500 to $3290) in part because the original quote was missing some details. When I indicated that I would revert back to the original quote and forget about the electrical work, I was told that I had requested a "rough estimate" - which I hadn't done- and that they wouldn't honor the original quote. So, I disregarded the quote and did the work myself. This was the second time I had concern and confusion when working with the office staff and have since decided to not give them my business.

I put everything in the first box. It wouldn't let me cut and paste.

I had used them before for a remodeling job and was pleased with their work. That was why I purchased the Big Deal coupon because I had several jobs planned. However, their estimates for the other jobs were too high in comparison to other bidders, so I chose to have them do the smaller ceiling fan job in order to use the coupon. I have no complaints about the quality and professionalism of their workers. The complaint I do have is their estimates and billing are not itemized with costs. I have no idea whether the Big Deal coupon actually saved me anything. Two workmen arrived to do the job. One went up in the attic to cut the installation location in the living room ceiling and install a junction box and bracing. Then the wallboard was cut to install the outlet box for the wall control. From the attic he threaded electrical wire to the wall control box. The wiring for the wall control was connected. They then assembled the ceiling fan unit and the mounting rod and installed the ceiling fan. They then cleaned up after their work. The lead technician explained how the controls worked and demonstrated them. The work was done efficiently and in a professional manner. The workmen were courteous and conscientious. The job took a bit over two hours.

They were very prompt and got back to us right away. They diagnosed the problem immediately and repaired it on the spot. We will use them again if needed.

Even though I was unable to use the certificates, Tom and his associates were professional, as usual. He could have taken the money and performed the service, but he warned us of a potential (highly probable) complication before beginning work. Since my husband is unemployed, we really were not going to be able to afford to get the work done correctly, so we appreciated Tom's honesty in being upfront with us.

Tom came out just as we had scheduled to give an estimate. The work was completed in remarkable time, just as quoted and with high quality. The basement looks just like it did before the being taken apart to waterproof.

The gentleman who did the work was punctual, polite, extremely efficient, friendly, and got a lot of work done in a 3 hour period. I was very impressed with his work and his efficiency - and would highly recommend Home One to anyone.

I had 3 companies give an estimate and HomeOne had the best proposal. The showed up when promised, completed the work and did a thurough job of cleaning up.
