+ 0 moreEXCELLENT! From the first day their trucks pulled in our driveway to the last day they finished the job, there was never a disagreement. They wanted to please us as the customer and in many cases went out of their way to do so. Thir employees paid attention to every detail as they had trucks on our property and always communicated with us on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. They also coordinated their work with other contractors even though there was no General Contractor on the job. After completion of the job, we have had two (2) minor issues. Each call to Hess Home Builders office has been answered and responded to within 24 hours. Each issue was handled without charge and without hassle. It has been a pleasure working with John and the entire Hess Home Builders team of professionals. In the construction industry, they stand above the competition!
Description of Work: Hess Home Builders provided the best estimate and reviews. They revised the blueprints several times and were willoing to work with us for the remodel/reconstruction of our house. We had a new bathroom added, changed our house from a flat roof to a peak roof, and added a deck on the side of the house. While there work was being performed, we had 5 other contractors working on the house. The Supervisor from Hess always made sure that everything was being coordinated and was excellent in communicating. The most important thing they did was to create as little dirt as possible in the house, and always cleaned up each day after they were finished. Every employee was courteous and very responsive to our needs as we continued to live in the house during this reconstruction. Hess Home Builders also did not forget us when the job was complete. We have had one or two minor issues arise since completion, and they responded immediately and fixed the issues at no charge and without any hassle. It has been a pleasure working with them for the past 4 years as we spent many hours in planning prior to actual construction. We recommend Hess Home Builders without any reservations!

+ 0 moreThe experience from the design to completion was outstanding. They completed the work during one of the hottest and driest summers we have experienced in a long time. Every part of the job was performed with care and they kept things clean. They installed plastic on our floors so there was no interior damage done by employees or sub contractors. Every employee and sub contractor was very professional and very courteous. During the job, we were on vacation for one week and they had two different people checking on the house to make sure the doors were locked every evening. We had a few warranty issues after the job was complete and each item was handled in less than one week. I would recommend Hess Home Builders for any new or remodeling job. During our total project, we had 9 different contractors doing work on our property. Hess Home Builders was exceptional and the only one I would recommend to anyone!
