Contractor was unable to provide contracted for plumbing connection. Agreed to pay for cost of home owner's plumber to connect. Cost of this exceeded funds owner already had paid to contractor by $269. Bravo agreed in mid-October to reimburse owner by this amount . Three plus months later and after many promises owner has not been reimbursed for this amount,.

Description of Work: kitchen countertops replaced with granite. Went smooth but they didn't finish the job. Final granite section was never installed and Mike continues to ignore our requests to finish the job.

The finished product looks good. My main complaint would be attention to detail and punctuality. Sloppy calking job. Dishwasher was not braced and I had to fix it to keep it from falling out when opening the dishwasher door. Cabinets were damaged during removal of old countertops and backsplash. I came up with a suitable solution when I had someone else come in and do the tile backsplash.
Description of Work: Granite countertops and island. Removed old countertops.

Mike came to the house very nice guy, we looked at his samples, picked one and agreed on a price. Approximately a week or so later the workers came did the countertops and sink then a week later finished the job by installing the backsplash. His workers were very nice and respectful. They cut the granite outside in the 90 degree heat in the driveway and did a great job. They cleaned everything up and were in and out in 2 hours. I already gave Mike a referral and he signed them up.

Price was very good for the amount of product and work we received. Over 50 square feet of counter including an island were replaced with level 2 granite including a 5" granite back splash. We also opted for the fancier ogee edge, oversized under mount double bowl stainless sink, upgraded gooseneck satin nickel faucet with pull out sprayer, a soap dispenser to match and the removal of the existing tile back splash to be replaced with a marble and stone back splash that we provided. They also included all demo and re-hookup of the kitchen plumbing. The installers were very easy to deal with and took direction in stride. It did take two days for the install since they came up from Philadelphia. The first day they got started late and actually needed a couple of more guys that could not be on site until the next day to handle the over 400 pound one piece center island top. All went well and we really like the product and the final result. The only negative we have is that they could have been neater by putting down drop clothes; especially since they needed to demo the drywall when removing the existing tiles. Although they cleaned up after themselves we spent another few hours getting things back to how it was before the work was done. We did price out the same job and granite with another company and we saved more than $2000 with Bravo. We have recommended them to a few other people based on our results.

The main contact, Mike, comes to your house to give you a free estimate. He takes your measurements and you assume you can go to his warehouse to look at the granite slabs. Not so. I don't think he carries too much inventory at the present time. They've only been in Lancaster for about 6 months, but they have been in Philadelphia for a long time. You pick your granite from 4x4 inch squares samples. Mike does explain that the actual stone may vary from the sample when it comes in - because stone is a natural product and it all doesn't look the same. He explained that steel grey (the color I picked) can have more black in it and sometimes it will be lighter on the grey side. I didn't have a problem with this as any combination of black and grey would work well for me. When the slab came in, I did get the opportunity to view the slab. Looked good to me. The installation went well until one piece of my back splash broke outside. However, Mike himself came with a replacement piece and replaced it for me ASAP. Seams - Mike explained that my countertops needed 2 seams because my counters were so long (over 15 feet long). He also stated that you WILL see the seams. One seam was going to be in front of the sink (4'' seam) as opposed to having one long seam next to the sink. Made sense to me at the time, but after seeing it, I would have done differently. Also, the seams are not the thinist out there. Mine are a little thicker. Backsplash - The backsplash had some small imperfections (nicks/chips) which I noticed after the installers were gone. Installation - pay attention during installation and address any issues with the installers then. They come down from Philly. Price - If you can't afford to pay huge prices for granite, but really want it - then call Mike. For the amount of counter tops versus the price, I got a good deal. Any granite place in my area would have charged double (I have been told). Good things: Pretty Steel Gray granite, Half Round Edge is really nice, Installers were friendly, good time turn around, GREAT PRICE! Not so good things: Seam in front of my sink - don't do that if you think it will bother you.
Description of Work: Installed approx. 60 square feet of granite countertops, counter removal and disposal, free sink, free sink template and free sink mounting. You provide plumber.
