 + -1 moreDavid Adamson was very responsive to our request for a quote to replace 1, 3, or 6 windows. He not only provided favorable pricing, he also provided instruction so we felt that -- whether we went with his company or not -- we would have information to make the best decision. His installer, John, was punctual on the date arranged for the 6 windows to be installed and was unbelievably efficient. I'm not sure he even took time out for a drink of water! He finished within 6 hours and the installation is attractive and appears to be darn-near perfect! We love that we could afford all 6 windows since David arranged attractive 0% financing for us (I wouldn't ask him to do it for you unless you have outstanding credit, however).

 + 1 moreThe sales rep was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting products, and he repeatedly checked on the progress of the work. The workman arrived promptly and completed work in a timely manner. All of the debris was properly cleaned up. When problems arose with some lapping of the siding on the side of the house, they did not hestiate to remove the siding and change lap directions. They did an excellent job in every respect.
Description of Work: Mark Martin was the salesman and the workman's name was John. They removed the wooden shakes on my house and the underlayments, installed vinyl siding with 3/8ths inch installations, and installed vapor moisture barriers on both sides. They also capped five windows that had not been capped, and replaced the rear entrance door.

We found this family-owned business through Angie's List and couldn't be more satisfied with the work performed on our house. Dave and Belinda were a pleasure to work with and it is evident that they both know their business. The showroom is beautiful and there was no-pressure from Dave to buy- he simply explained to us our options in depth. The professionalism and friendliness of the employees put us at ease as we knew we would be receiving high-quality work. Our family decided to replace 3 new windows this time, and plan to replace 3 windows/month until all of the windows in our home are replaced and beautiful (this was Dave's great idea.) The installation crew was efficient, respectful and didn't leave a trace that they had been there. All-in-all it was a pleasure to work with Aspen and I would recommend them to anybody in the area who needs work done to their home. You won't be disappointed!

 + -1 moreAspen Home Improvements may have been the most professional home improvement outfit that I have ever dealt with. David was very thorough and honest in his approach and did not even come across as a salesman. The installation process was impressive. Scott, the installer was extremely pleasant, knowledgable, and detailed oriented. I had a half-mooned window with a small radius that was somewhat of a pain to install, but Scott and David would not sign off on the job until I was completely satisfied. I have had other contractors at the house since the completion of the project and even they commented on the quality of the job. One of those contractors was even in the business of window replacement and his comment to me was "I could not have done that good of a job." The entire experience was as good as it could get, right down to the cleanup and follow up visit.
Description of Work: I had new triple paned windows installed in the entire house.

I compared quotes from other contractors in the area and the pricing was indentical to anther local company for the same product., so I felt like they knew what they were doing. Dave answered any questions that we had, and the install went without any surprises. The install team was very friendly and professional. They cleaned up every day when they were done, and explained the process as they did the work. We received many compliments from neighbors on the new siding. Years later there had never been a loose piece of siding or trim, it still looks great!

Description of Work: When we met Aspen Home Improvement, Inc at a builders show we had never heard of the company before. The sales person at the show explained to us and showed us why there product is superior to other products on the market. We had looked at several other vendors that were offering the same products that we were interested in but were not impressed . We set up an appointment with there salesman, Mark. He again showed us why there doors and windows were superior and gave us a firm contract price. He gave us the bottom line up front and we did not have to haggle to get a lower price. Dave (the owner) followed up wit a return visit and made some change suggestions that did not cost us anymore but was a higher priced product. Scott and Dylan installed our doors and windows on the coldest week of the year and did a fantastic job. Today we are enjoying the benefits of these superior windows and doors and saving on the heating cost as well. I would certainly recommend Aspen Home Improvements, INC to anyone who is looking for a local and professional company for doors and windows. Allen and Loretta

 + 0 moreThe products that were installed have beautifully met our expectations; the work was done promptly, efficiently, and within the time frame promised; and the clean-up was complete when the workmen were finished. David took great pains to work with us throughout the entire process to make sure we were satisfied with all aspects of the replacement work.
Description of Work: We had several regular sash windows, a large bay window, and two main doors with storm doors in our house that needed replacement. We wanted to work with a local company, not a national chain, so Angie's List was our best means of choosing. We selected several names to get estimates and Aspen ended up with the best deal. We told the estimator how much we could spend, and he told us what he could do, he suggested what might work best, and gave us options of styles. We now have four regular and the bay window replaced, along with two new entrance and storm doors.

 + -1 moreThe work went faster than I expected and the windows were replaced by 4 PM. The outside wood sills and framing were capped with aluminum and the debris removed. I was very happy with the work and the timing. I did have to remind John to shut the doors to the rooms he was working in so some heat would remain in the house. Other than that, it went quite well.
Description of Work: I had five windows removed and four installed. Two of the double-hung windows were replaced with one slider which really opens up the room. I had done the same with three windows directly below this area, so now the symmetry is quite nice as well. The windows were installed before Christmas,as promised. Only one man (John) came to remove and install windows, but he was able to do it all by himself.

 + 0 moreWe found Aspen Home Improvement on Angie's List. We stopped in the showroom one evening and spoke to David Adamson. We asked David to come out and give us an estimate and found him to be very professional and knowledgable. He worked with us through all the details and was extremely patient with us. Once the final decisions were made we scheduled a date for the installation. The installer was also above average in his ability to perform his tasks. The lifetime guarantee is always nice but we feel that Aspen's pride in their work will prove to be a positive. I would recommend anyone to use Aspen. We feel that the quality of work compared to the cost of the project was outstanding. If anyone out there is thinking about getting new windows as a project, we highly recommend Aspen to do the job.In our minds, there is no reason to go to any other Company for windows and/or door replacement. You will get the utmost professional quality work at what we consider a reasonable cost. Thank you Angie's List and David for making this happen!!

 + -1 moreThe whole installation process went exceptionally well - they were done on the inside the first day and the second day was spent finishing the outside. We could not be more pleased with the product or the company. Need to score them an A plus! David's follow up was Great as well as he came not only during the replacement but about a week or so later after everything had set to recheck all work done. We are very pleased with the finished product!.
Description of Work: We asked for an estimate for our home that we had just moved into about 6-7 weeks prior and the windows were terrible (original windows from home construction in '68)! They were a first try at thermal windows that did not work and the windows were dirty and condensated on in between the panes. The owner of Aspen, David, came out and gave us an estimate for our 13 double hung windows (just shy of $8,000.) and his Team installed them in 2 days about 3 weeks later. His estimate was not the lowest we had received but I was markedly impressed by their professionalism, quality of product and timeliness.

They cleaned up every single nail when they were done. It was an army of guys, they did the roof in one day. After they were done they marched around the whole house to check for debris or anything.

Everyone we dealt with at Aspen was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We had many interactions with them to discuss the details, and to plan the work, including telephone conversations and visits to our home, and all were very pleasant. They were also very flexible in their availability throughout this phase. When it came time to do the work, they got down to business, and did so in an efficient and professional manner. They completed the work over the course of two days, and after wrapping up for the day each day, they cleaned up all remnants of that day's work. The finished product turned out great, and we are very happy! All in all, we had a great experience with Aspen, and would definitely recommend them to others. Thank you Aspen!

Description of Work: I had replacement vinyl windows installed in February to replace the original wooden windows in my home. I actually went to the Aspen Home Improvement offices in Lititz to inquire about their product lines because of previous experiences with other window sales people in my home over the past several years. Dave and the staff graciously explained their product lines and services without any pressure for a sales contract. They allowed me to determine when and if I wanted someone to come to my house to measure for a quotation for replacements. Dave came and measured for the replacement windows in early January. The quotation pricing for installation of new windows, removal of the old windows and clean-up from the work was fair and far below the lowest quote that I had received previously. We had a total of 20 windows replaced including 2 garage windows, a bay window and a picture window. The windows were ordered and available early in February. The work was scheduled for the week of February 12th. John arrived, looked at the windows to be replaced and immediately started the process. I was very suprised how quickly the process moved. It took about 2 1/2 days to remove all the old windows and install the new. The rest of the week was used to seal the new windows inside and out, and to clean up from the old window removal.

You can't lie to yourself about how much there is to spend!!! Be informed as to what options will and will not make a difference. If your sales rep can't answer your questions, or find the answers quickly, move on to find someone who can.
Description of Work: Four hopper replacement windows for our basement remodel. Aspen measured and estimated total costs and gave us several options on styles and features. We are so pleased with the final product!!! The quality of the windows surpasses anything else we looked at. Their installer was considerate, prompt and thorough. I would, (and have) recommend them to anyone! They are a great local company where you aren't just a number. From salesperson, installer and office staff all knowledgeable and friendly.
