We had an excellent customer experience with Aspen. Weather caused a brief delay for the installation, however Aspen kept us informed of their availability and fit us into their installation schedule. The installer (Scott) did an excellent job with removing the old door, providing the needed wood to fit the new door into the opening and installing the new door. The new door fits snugly and is a vast improvement over the old door removed. With a bit of touch up paint on the new wood surrounding the door, the new door looks like original equipment. We were very pleased with the overall experience and plan to use Aspen Home Improvement in the future for additional door or window replacement.

I've met with Aspen on two occasions. The first was the sales pitch. I liked the fact that this company was willing to meet me on Saturdays. I work during the week and it's not always an easy thing just to take a day off whenever I want and I have a set number of days each year that I can use as vacation days so I hold on to them kind of tight. I hate to be spending all my days off just waiting for work people to come to the house. I liked the salesman. He was very friendly and I liked that he knew what he was talking about. I checked into the quality of the windows and they get high marks but in trade reviews and by people who have had them installed. The price was good. Just on Friday the man came to do the actual measurements. He was very quick and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. I have these large windows and he didn't even ask me for any help with the measurement. The installation will probably take place in August so that part of the review will have to wait.

From the first contact until the last, this provider was outstanding in every way. They were quick to respond to my online inquiry and followed through very efficiently. David, the owner, made all of the visits to my house to consult with me over the door selections. These doors were for another property, so he drove quite a few miles out of his way to come to see me. He was patient and extremely pleasant, making great suggestions as we went. I felt confident that I had chosen a solid company with an honest, hard-working man at its helm. The initial contact was made through Angie's List, so I'm grateful for that too. The door were installed exactly as promised, and the job wasn't the easiest. Because the house was built around 1928, the doors weren't standard sizes. One door had to have some real work done on it, with some custom fitting needing to be done. The finished result was terrific. The installer was very mannerly and worked hard to get things right. He cleaned up after himself and left things as he found them. From my initial contact with the secretary (Tammy) to the owner, I was very impressed with everyone involved. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend it highly to anyone else who is looking for someone with integrity.

They would not honor my coupon. I was quite surprised when someone showed up and wanted me to pay additional. It was a long process and they ended up telling me they could not honor it. I was not impressed with them. I ended up getting a refund from Angie?s List. The salesman came over as scheduled but refused to honor the Angie's List coupons that I bought. I bought two coupons, each for a $500 credit toward a window. When the salesman quoted a mid-level window at $599 (given that the least expensive window the salesman said Aspen sells is $189), I thought that would be good, because I would be out of pocket the amount I paid to Angie's List of $198 plus the additional $198. But for whatever reason, and I didn't understand why, the salesman said he couldn't do it. He also made some inappropriate comments during his visit. I was very disappointed in this experience and contacted Angie's List to refund my $198 purchase price. A representative from Aspen said later that they don't sell windows as low as $189. I confirmed that's exactly what the salesman told me. However, the salesman who came to the house was pushing hard to sell me on a $15,000 total replacement of all my windows. I said I wanted only to buy two windows using the two coupons. For some reason he didn't want to do this and went away.

Aspen arrived at designated time; office personnel communicated to inform me of installation team's arrival. Front entry door was installed quickly yet professionally. Am pleased with end result; quality is superb. Made commitment to buy and have installed a new rear entry door. Sales rep showed up near end of installation to check on progress and snapped photos of end result; and quickly and efficiently wrote up contract for rear entry door, conferring with installation personnel.

The front door was delivered with the hinges on the wrong side. Aspen installed the door, reordered a replacement and came back and installed the correct door. They took care of the problem.

The service people were exactly on time. They worked until the entire job was done, clean-up included. They answered all questions as they were working. Once finished, they demonstrated the ease of using the windows. All they asked for was that I put their company sign in my front yard, and for water on occasion. I couldn't be more pleased with the company or their work!

Great professional and informative.

Excellent customer services from beginning to end. The sales rep was very informative and did not have a high pressure sales pitch. He recommended windows that best suited our needs. The owner of the company came to the house the same day the windows were installed to ensure we were satisfied with the work that was completed. My husband was cleaning the windows on a Saturday and couldn't get one of the windows back in properly. He called the office and they sent someone out to assist him! That is the type of customer service you rarely encounter.

My deposit was returned although I was not contacted again by the original sales representative.

After a lot of research we chose to have Aspen do an estimate on our sun room. This room was basically the point we bought our home but the original windows were old and letting in an extreme amount of air from outside. It was almost unusable in the winter because it would get so cold. The salesman came and did his thing and was very nice and NOT pushy, just talked about what we needed/wanted and we were able to work out a price. I think the price we paid for 8 windows, a custom door and screen door, and of course the labor to do it is excellent. I believe you get what you pay for, so I might have been able to get windows and DIY to save money but the quality would be no where near this. They said it would take anywhere from 5 to 10 weeks for the windows and doors to be ordered and made and it took about 6 weeks. We scheduled a day and the workers were super friendly and on time. They started around 8am and were done shortly after lunch time. They really took the time to make sure there were no openings and the windows were sealed properly. I have to say these windows look amazing and the door is beautiful as well. We are very impressed with the quality of Aspens work and product. I would recommend them to anyone. Again, there are other places that may be cheaper but I think you get what you pay for. We are very pleased.

The initial phone contact through the first measurements & promised date of installment went well. I had an ugly door that needed to be removed due to wear & tear & years of weather damage. This was in my 3rd bedroom. The salesman who visited my home saw my vision of recreating a bedroom to a great guest room. He explained what they would do on the interior & exterior of the room. The installer Scott reported on time. He did a fantastic job. He explained the safety features of the windows. The exterior looks great.

Not well. The representative informed me that the minimum purchase for EACH Big deal was $2000 for a total of at least $4000. That was not in the ads fine print, nor was I informed of that when I called to set up an appointment. The representative then quoted a price of over $7500 for just THREE doors. I WON"T be paying anyone that much for THREE DOORS.

Rock start service. Truly went above and beyond for every install and worked to satisfy us at every turn. Coordinated services through PHFA (energy loan) and managed those payments, etc. Good recommendations, excellent pricing and just plain awesome all around. So highly recommended they got two signs in our yard! ;-)

Our experience with Aspen Home Improvement was unsatisfactory. We specifically scheduled an appointment at Aspen's office, stating the following reasons: 1)to eliminating multiple meetings (my husband travels extensively in his work) and streamline the inspection, selection, and order process. 2)to inspect the craftsmanship and operate actual doors, not just "demos/samples." 3) to ascertain the business practices of Aspen. Despite our specific request and clear communication, the Aspen door representative failed to meet us at the Aspen office. The meeting, as well as our 90-minute trip, was futile. Aspen said they pride themselves on accommodating the customer; they failed.

The service was fine and I really liked the quality of the work.

We had a very good experience with Aspen. Mark came to our home to discuss our options and strongly recommended both my husband and I come to their showroom to learn more about replacement windows. This was really helpful as they have a lovely showroom where we could try out various window features ourselves and see what we liked. The heat lamp with the 4 types of glass was particularly helpful in choosing the glass that would work best. They even had a playroom for our children. We signed the contract and Mark on Nov. 8th, and we were excited when he said installation should be sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. In fact, this did not happen, though we weren't sure why. Mark contacted us on 11/26 to say we couldn't get the custom color we wanted with triple pane windows. Mark recommended the standard bronze color, which turned out beautifully. On Jan. 15th I emailed to find out what was happening with the windows and when installation was planned. They still had not received the windows from the factory. They said they expected them to arrive at the store by Jan. 30th. Snow cancelled our first installation date of Feb. 14th and they were finally and happily installed on 2/28/14. Scott did the installation and was very professional and did an excellent job! He arrived 45 minutes later than the time I was told, but otherwise we were very happy with his service. He was kind and tolerant of our three year old son who kept talking to him :). He cleaned the windows and made them sparkle. He cleaned up after himself completely. We plan to use Aspen again in the future! We love that they're a local company operating in our town for decades and also used by our neighbors.

We were referred to Aspen in the past from our brother and sister- in- law after they had windows installed. At that time we really liked the service that they provided when installing windows. As before, this venture with Aspen proved to be no different. David came to our house did an estimate and measured the windows we wanted replaced. When the windows were ready, Tammy called to let us know and to set up an installation date. John came and installed the windows. Let's not forget Lynn who called periodically after our last window installation to see how we liked them and if there were any problems. This company is excellent and professional. Everyone was courteous and friendly. They were willing to work with us every step of the way including financially. We would recommend this family run company to anyone. Once again awesome job!

We had 21 double hung composite wood windows installed and a sliding glass door. The best experience I had with home improvement. From the sales rep. to the installer to the owner and office staff, these folks have the formula for providing a great product, quality install, and excellent customer service. Sales rep was outstanding. Very personable, knowledgeable of the products, and customer oriented. The installer did some of the best work I have seen to date not too mention he takes great pride in his workmanship. He worked on our house like it was his own not just another job. He was also very personable. The office staff was very friendly and customer oriented. The owner came out twice during the install; once to double check the measurements and a second time after the install to inspect the work and make sure the customer was satisfied. More companies should take this approach. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed!

We are pleased to have worked with Aspen Home Improvement. From our very first visit to the office and showroom to the completion of the project they have been very professional in their service and work. David came out twice to measure for our windows and kindly answered all of our questions over a cup of tea. Tammy was helpful in working with our schedule even when we had to delay the project for several months. Despite some very cold February days, John arrived on time and completed the installation of all of our windows and clean up in two days, just in time for the largest snowstorm to hit the area the following day. Perfect timing! We are very happy with all of our new windows and highly recommend Aspen to anyone investigating window replacements and other remodeling projects.
