Appliance Service Company

Oven problem over the Christmas holidays, of course!! However, we were able to get on the schedule in a reasonable period of time (better than the original retailer from whom we purchased the appliance by over a week!). The repair required 2 persons because of the weight of a double oven, but it was done quickly and efficiently.... and no mess left behind! Everything was explained clearly and priced fairly. Would recommend without reservation.

This is the 2nd time I have called on Appliance Service Company. Joe is amazing each time he has given me his professional opinion to repair or to replace. He always has my budget, and the life of the appliance in mind. I will not call anyone else Joe is my go to guy!!!

Appliance Service Company did respond eventually, and informed us we were not in their service area.

Joe just left the home. He's knowledgable, personable, competent, fair, communicative.... everything I want in a person helping me with appliances. I'll call him again if we have any other issues with our appliances. Highest marks! Thank you Joe!

Everything was excellent (scheduling, responsive, diagnosis, etc). Great service - Joe walked through the issues and explained how they were fixed. I will definitely call Joe anytime I have an appliance problem.

This service provider was very courteous also call to let us know that he is going to be a bit late getting to us. This is what I would call great great service.

Perfect! Joe was GREAT. We lived out of his service area but he came out anyway for us. He found the problem ordered the parts and came out and fixed it. He is a GREAT guy. Very trustworthy. Nice to talk to also!!! If anything else breaks we will be calling him for sure!

Joe was great about explaining the issue and what the repair would involve. It was more expensive than we thought it would be, but that is due to the design of the refrigerator making some components hard to access. It seems to be working great now! The only minor issue was that it took Joe a while to get back to us once the part had arrived. It seems he may have called a wrong number at first, but we eventually connected.

Appointments and repairs went exactly as promised. He gave me an estimate of repair costs, ordered the necessary part and told me to call when I was ready to complete the project. Joe very gracously allowed for 2 home visits with half payment for each visit. He did a wonderful job. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Joe from Appliance Service returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment soon thereafter. Two items involved, both dealt with promptly, competently and courteously. He could have pushed for a major repair to an old appliance but did not; rather, advised us that replacement (no financial interest in that for his company) would be the best route. I will call on this company again for kitchen/washer/dryer/appliance issues. Excellent first encounter with Appliance Service Company.

Joe returned my phone message in less than 30 minutes, scheduled the repair appointment when it worked in my schedule, just two days later, and came within the time window he said he would come. He explained everything about the needed repair and about his pricing, which was more than fair. I also had him look at my clothes washer, for which he gave me a repair estimate, AND an explanation why I would be better off replacing the washer rather than repairing it. He does not sell appliances, he only repairs them, so this indicated his trustworthiness to me because, rather than have me pay something like $350 to repair one part on an old machine that would probably need other repairs, he turned down the opportunity to earn more money by advising me to buy a new washer for about $399. Again, he explained everything about the machine to me, so I would completely understand his advice. I have already recommended this company to a friend.

Joe came within the time frame that he agreed when I scheduled the appointment. He was able to diagnosis the problem and very easily explained and showed me what the issues were. He had the necessary parts on his truck and had my dryer working perfect by the end of the appointment. Also, we felt he was very reasonable in price! Will definitely call him in the future and refer him to friends.

I called to check his prices and availability to fix my front loading washer. When I described the problem over the phone he was almost positive that the part would cost $400-$500. His service charge was very reasonable to come out but he was kind enough to give me free advice over the phone. He explained how my machine was built and which part was broken and that the part that was broken only came as part of a unit (the whole stainless steel drum). He also discussed with me how old the machine was and how heavily it had been/would be used. He explained that this washer would soon have other parts wear out within the next couple of years. He said he would replace it if he were in my situation. So I will be looking to buy a new washer today! I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to explain everything to me.

Took less than an hour. He was able to fit me in the same day. Actually about 3 hours after I initially called.

The technician arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. After doing a quick diagnosis, he helped me decide whether it was worth repairing the appliances and ndash; both which were several years old. In this case it was worth spending the money to put a new motor in the washing machine, and now it works great. For the dryer, it was a cheaper model, and he found that it not only needed new bearings (it had been very noisy) but also its motor was badly corroded from moisture in basement, and that would probably need to be replaced in the near future. He ran the dryer's repair cost by me and we decided the repair cost vs. replacement cost ratio wasn't good enough to make it worth repairing the dryer. I appreciated that he was honest and helped me make an informed decision about when it is a good idea to fix an appliance and when it is better to put the money towards replacing it. I plan to use this company again if I have other appliance problems in the future.
