John Kieffer was involved throughout the project. The team worked efficiently and there was no time wasting tactics.The reason for hire was to clean and organize my large basement and inspect for mold and treat.

Very positive. John was thorough in talking us through the mold remediation process and pointed out other issues that could arise. His team did quality work, cleaned up after the job and even found other potential problems not even related to mold.

Work that was promised was not done.

John Kieffer responded promptly to our request and evaluated and explained the process completely from beginning to end. His worker who performed the work was very prompt with the scheduled arrival time. He was aware of the surroundings and kept his work areas contained to prevent further contamination of mold spores till each area was completely cleaned and followed up by cleaning the entire work space before moving to the next area. He was very polite, and professional. While they were completing our first job we discovered a second area in the house that we asked to be evaluated. John came back to examine this as well and put us in their schedule just a few days later,and completed in short time. Again they did very good clean up afterwards. I would definitely use their services again if need, and highly recommend them to anyone needing it as well. Thanks so much to their company for a job well done.

Work was begun at the time promised. Technician was professional in describing the procedures. He cleaned up and returned furniture to original locations when he was finished. We are pleased with the results!

Extremely fast initial response. Work done promptly and thoroughly. Very willing to work around my health care appointments to suit my schedule.

John was great about removing the mold found in our attic/crawl space. He determined the cause was that the bathroom exhaust fan was not vented to the outside and with the extreme cold that winter, the mold had the perfect environment to grow. He told us that we need to have the fan vented to the outside or we would continue to have mold issues. The day they did the work, they put up plastic to contain the environment. They ran HEPA air scrubbers to prevent mold spores from spreading. They cleaned all of the boxes that were stored there, cleaned the mold, and they sealed the rafters that had mold growing on them. We received other estimates. John was competitively priced and his scope of work was adequate since it was a non-living space. One company's estimate included replacing all of the insulation, renting a storage POD for the contents for $15,000.00. John's customer service was exceptional. After receiving the above mentioned quote, we questioned how much work needed to be done to remove the mold. John was so patient and answered all of my questions (and I had many after researching the EPA's web site). John is certified for mold remediation. The mold did not return the following winter. When we sold our house the following year, it passed the home inspection. We were extremely happy with our entire experience with AdvantaClean of Lancaster.

After our dehumidifier failed, white mold grew on wood furniture in the basement and dark mold started to creep out of our duct work. Our basement was full of furniture. We were overwhelmed with the task at hand. They did an amazing job cleaning mold off furniture and duct work and even gave us tips on how to prevent this from happening again. Having someone go through your basement clutter can feel like letting someone see your dirty laundry but they treated us and our things with respect. We did recommend them to a family member and would hire them again.
