It felt to me that he took any money that I would have saved from the Big Deal and tacked it back on in other ways. It felt like a bait-and-switch.

 + -1 moreDan arrived on time, thoroughly reviewed locks needing to be rekeyed in my home, and discussed options. He was hardworking, highly skilled, very courteous, and gave me a very fair price for all his work. He made all 10 locks compatible to one key (with 4 copies) as they previously had different keys for each lock. He also oiled all the hinges on the doors he worked on. Finally, he walked me through all the doors and had me open them with the new keys making sure the new keys worked properly. I would absolutely recommend Dan at Bucks County Lock & Key to all my neighbors. Customer service was excellent!!

Description of Work: Dan responded to my phone message with 10 minutes, and arranged to meet us within 2 hours. We needed to get in to a locked mailbox that came with our new house. So timeliness wasn't really important, but he was very prompt.

He was professional, courteous, and attentive to my child who was barraging him with questions. Dan worked quickly and fixed the placement of the lock which was installed incorrectly by someone else. It was a true pleasure, and we plan to use him for future needs.

We were very pleased with the service and would use them again. It is difficult to find reputable locksmiths. (This was an Angie's list special offer.)

 + -1 moreAs you can see from the above description, we are very pleased with their work. We definitely will use Bucks County Lock and Key for any future locksmith work and will happily recommend them to our friends.
Description of Work: Installation of new lock sets on all 3 entry doors at the home we just purchased. We were looking for quality hardware with good design and aesthetics. We visited the local showroom of the company in Lahaska, PA. Clyde was very helpful with the process of selecting the lock sets. We wanted to have a single key to operate all the locks, and he guided us to getting this achieved, even though we bought locks from different manufacturers. As part of his service, he came to our home to make sure that there would be no issues with the installation of the selected hardware before he ordered it. Once the special order parts had arrived, Clyde called and we set up an appointment for the installation. He arrived punctually, did the installation, cleaned up and had me check that I was satisfied with his work. In the whole process, he was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
