Jack Fritz Tile & Marble

Jack was great. He came out to see what work needed to be done and then promptly sent me a quote. I did not have to wait long for him to come do the work. He was here 1 day and got everything done. He is very professional and neat and the workmanship was very good. He was able to replace some tiles that other contractors told me could not be done. I will use him again and would recommend him.

Jack was prompt for the estimate, gave options and immediately texted photos of time options. He was prompt upon arrival and quickly got to work, reshaping the floor and laying tile over the old. He accomplished everything in just 5 1/2 hours and it looks like we have a whole new shower so while I gave a slightly lower score for price, we're very happy considering the alternative, retiling it all.

Jack was extremely responsive. Told me exactly what he would do and and answered all of my questions. He and his partner showed up on time, did a great job and cleaned up afterward. The tile looks great. Workers who have been in the bathroom since the tile was done have all remarked about how great it looks and what a good job was done. The tile in this room is quite old so we weren't sure what the result would look like. It turned out beautifully. The character of the room remains but it looks fresh.

I contacted Jack through Angie's List - he was extremely responsive and emailed me the same day. He was finishing up another job ahead of schedule so he had availability the next day to come by and give me an estimate. He recommended replacing the green board with cement board, replacing a decent amount of the tile as there was some decay on parts of the wall that had not collapsed yet, and re-grouting and caulking the remainder of the shower -- all for an extremely reasonable fee. Jack showed up on time and completed the job quickly. My shower looks brand new and I couldn't be more appreciative of Jack's response time and extreme professionalism. If you need tile or marble work done, I can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks, Jack!

Jack was fantastic, start to finish. Right on time with both the estimate and repair visit appointments and the actual repair was done in less than half a day and looked quite literally as good as new. Jack met and exceeded every expectation, was an absolute gentleman to work with, and I was absolutely comfortable having him in my home. I will absolutely call Jack back any time I have the opportunity and need work he may be able to assist with.

OK for those of you looking for someone to do your tile work, Jack is your contractor. The master bath floor looked easy. Just install new tile over the old because the floor didn't not need to be torn out. That was Jack's recommendation and saved us money. So the job started and the drain cover which was screwed in and installed 20 years ago had stripped screws. I know there are contractors out there who would have simply said, "you need a plumber to fix this problem." Instead Jack sent his associate out to Lowes (twice) to get the tools needed to remove the cover and complete the work. Should have been simple but it wasn't. One of the screws broke off. The solution - out of the box thinking - was to rotate the drain extender and re-drill screw holes for the drain cover. Job complete. To me this is how a professional works. They identify and solve problems keeping the client happy. Jack is one of those people and I would recommend his services to anyone in need of tile work!

Jack did an outstanding job of handling our backsplash request. He is very friendly and responsive to all of our requests and needs. I was blown away by the overall results. I would highly recommend Jack and he would be the one I would call for any future project.

Jack was very friendly and professional to work with. He accommodated several minor changes during the project. The quality of of his work at the end of the project was extremely high. Triple A rating. No faults or mistakes. Jacks pricing was extremely reasonable when compared to other quotes. We are very pleased with the final results. The job is beautiful and perfect. Jack is extremely talented and proficient in his trade.He conscientiously placed each tile. The pride he takes in his work shows how much he cares about perfection. He proved his skill when he cut out and set three triangular decorative tiles I purchased for the back splash. The finished product looks amazing.

Jack came out initially and told us what the problem might be and what he could do to fix it. After getting our schedules together he came out on time and did a great job replacing all of the problem tiles for a reasonable price. He kept the area as clean as possible and the job turned out great. I would definitely hire him again.

Jack did an amazing job on tiling my kitchen & breakfast room floors. He also tiled the backsplash in the kitchen. Jack was very responsive and helpful with the entire process. Jack stopped by on short notice to look at the bathroom so he could give an estimate. We arranged to do the work a few weeks later due to both of us having busy schedules. He showed up in the morning ready to get to work. He was a little surprised to see what someone had done previously to fix the shower tile but knew exactly what to do to fix it. After about an hour, all of the loose tile was removed and he could show me where there were some problems. He made his repairs, replaced the tile and regrouted the entire shower. I'm guessing the shower now looks as good as the day it was first installed many decades ago. He started at 9AM and finished by 2PM. Jack is very friendly and has a positive attitude about his work. He takes pride in it and cleaned up everything once done.

After reading reviews of Jack's work on Angie's List, I reached to him for an estimate to tile the walls and floor of a shower stall in our nearly 100 year old house. He returned my call quickly and after speaking to him about the project he offered to give me an estimate via text message if I agreed to take a few pictures and send them to his mobile. I had never handled work estimates that way before but it went smoothly and Jack was great about getting back to me with additional questions before he gave me a price of $1500. I had gotten a few other estimates and Jack's price was right in the middle of the range so I felt the project was fairly priced. I agreed to do the demo work, install the cement backer board, and supply the tile and grout. I'm fairly handy but given the age of our home and the fact very few things are perfect (walls a bit out of square, not quite plumb, bowed studs, etc.), I knew I needed a pro to address those imperfections so I gave the job to Jack and I'm glad I did. A few days before work was scheduled to begin, Jack called me just to make sure we were still on and to make sure all the material had been delivered. On the scheduled day Jack and his helper Chris showed up bright and early, went over some details with me, and got right to work. They worked quickly and got the bulk of the job done in a single day. I found Jack and Chris to be neat, clean, and professional. Given the small size of the bathroom, only Jack came back on the second day to finish the work. Once again he was early and got started quickly. By early afternoon he let me know that he was done. I was shocked it went so quickly given the imperfections he had to address. The end result looks truly amazing. This is one job I'm glad I left to a professional and there is no doubt that Jack will be my first call for future tile work. Thanks Jack and Chris!

Arrived on time, performed the work competently and left work area clean. Some of the grout areas failed to dry properly (due to problem unrelated to Jack's work) and Jack graciously returned a few days later and re-did these areas without charge. We would not hesitate to use him again and to recommend him to others.
