Blue Mountain Chimney Sweep

They came to fix our chimney last fall, but it wasn't fixable. So they contacted our fuel/furnace company, figured out what to do, and ended up saving us a lot of money. We liked them so much that we had them come back to do work on our brick exterior. Our house is really old, has a lot of issues, is close to other houses, and a lot of masons didn't return my calls, but these guys came out, looked at all of the issues, gave us options, and we made a plan. They have removed, replaced, repointed, fixed, and waterproofed a lot of bricks over the last couple days. They have worked efficiently, acted professionally, and have been a general joy to deal with. Is masonry work expensive? Yes. But if it's done right you never have to do it again, and I trust Blue Mountain to do it right every time.

John came that afternoon after I talked to him for an estimate and was able to reshuffle other jobs around to do the necessary repairs the next day before heavy rains came. He did a great job, I had removed landscaping stones around leak area at chimney foundation so he could work in that area, he even put all the stones back after he was done. Great guy, very professional and knew what he was doing. Will definitely use again for chimney sweep and would recommend to anybody.

Scheduled an appointment. Was asked what time worked best for me. The appointment was scheduled within a few days of when I called. John, the owner arrived on time. Covered the living room floor in the area of the fireplace with tarps. Swept the fireplace, damper and chimney from the inside then also inspected the chimney from the roof. He was personable, knowledgeable and took care and pride in his work. Left a detailed receipt. Very pleased with the service.

They came when they said they would. They were efficient. First time they came when nobody else would come because of holidays and they did the work on a holiday. They did not ask for anything special except I gave them prorogues. I would recommend them to others. The chimney is holding fine. Once we realigned it, it?s been fine. I had them clean it and they checked everything when they cleaned.
