The old acid neutralizer started to leak. Noticed it after normal hours one evening. I looked on Angie's List to find a local plumber and he was at the top of the list. I called and and he answered immediately. I explained and he said to put a towel down and he would come the next morning, he was out of town. He came and bypassed the system till he could get us prices and figure out the best way to solve the problem. Along with a water test he provided us with a few options and pricing. We decided which system we wanted and could afford, he promptly ordered everything and within a few weeks everything was installed. We were very satisfied with how he handled everything from start to finish. He answered my calls and all my questions. He was very thorough with everything-as putting on booties if needed to come upstairs and cleaning up after himself. We hadn't had a plumber to the house in quite a few years. So I didn't know who to call. I am glad I looked on Angie's List. It made my search and decision easy. Nathaniel is a very personable and knowledgeable young man. I would recommend and call him again if and when we have any other plumbing problems.

He was prompt, polite, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. It was a very rainy day, so I especially appreciated that he wore booties and took them off at the door so as to avoid getting the floors wet. He had to go out to his van a few times for materials, and each time he put the booties on when he went out and took them off when he cane back inside, That was very considerate.

It went very well. Toilets are working fine now.

Nate did the home plumbing inspection that I had purchased through Angie's list. I had a problem with one toilet that kept running and he showed me how he could adjust it so that it would stop but added that after using it for a bit it would probably start doing the same thing again. Since I am aware that the parts in both toilets were just standard builder parts and other neighbors have had some problems with them also, I had him replace them with a better system. There was an additional charge for the parts he replaced but I felt he was very reasonable. He also answered a few questions that I had about my hot water heater.

Was a very professional and courteous person. He answered all my questions and showed me if my problem happens in the future what and easy fix it is. He called the morning of the appointment and he called when he was running a few minutes late. I would have him back for any of my future plumbing needs.

Everything went very smooth, he was there when he said he would be and only charged what he quoted. He knew exactly what the propblem was and fixed it in a timely manner. We will definitely call PV Plumbing if we have any future issues!

Installation went very well. I also asked Nathaniel to look at my recently uncovered hose bibs which were leaking. One just needed a screw adjustment. The other needed replacement, as it had frozen and cracked three quarters of the way around. If not found, and replaced today, I would have had a very wet crawl space in the immediate future.

From the minute I spoke to Nathaniel from Pleasant Valley Plumbers, I had a positive experience. He was easy to talk to, courteous, and professional. During the initial consultation call, PV Plumbers, gave me a tip about buying the faucet from a plumbing supply house instead of a Big Box home improvement store for quality purposes. I took them up on this suggestion and was much happier with the quality of the parts being installed. At the time of service, PV Plumbers showed up on time and continued their always courteous, professional demeanor. Also, they recommended that I NOT actually go through with one of the services I had talked about originally since it was unnecessary and would only make a bigger, more expensive job out of what could be a small fix. When a contractor offers that advice to me, it goes a long, long way in the trust department. Finally, after the service Nathaniel took the time to have a quick chat about the work that was done. I had a great experience with Pleasant Valley Plumbers and will definitely use them for any and all of my future pluming needs.

I used the $99 Angie's Coupon. The rest of the cost was for the steel hoses. Nathan was fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He advised me against replacing the knobs to the hoses and told me I did not need to turn the handles off to the water when not in use.

He comes in smiling and pleasant. He's very easy goingNathaniel quickly identified the problem, had the supplies to correct the problem, and fixed it in a short period of time. He arrived on time, wore booties, and as it had snowed recently, kept my floors clean and dry as he performed his duties. He took the time to offer to look at any other problems I may have had with plumbing issues. I've used Nathaniel's services before. He's very knowledgeable, and willing to get the job done.

He couldn't have been nicer. I wasn't sure if it could be fixed, and he told me that I was correct. He spent some time working and did what he could, but explained to me that they didn't leave an access panel and he provided me options. He further explained that even if he went through the ceiling under it, he couldn't guarantee that he would be able to have access to it.

He came out quickly and was able to fix it in no time. He gave me a general idea of cost over the phone and stuck to it after he arrived and fixed the pipe. I'll definitely use them again.

I was not home but my son and his wife were. They were very impressed with Nathanel who came arrived and completed the job without any issues. Even crawled down in my crawl space to turn off the water even after my son offered to do it. Thank you, I will definitely use them again.

Our toilet was constantly running. We had a Sloan flushmate toilet (it's basically a big plastic pressure chamber that sits in the typical toilet reservoir). The flushmate is not supposed to leak, the inside of the reservoir should be empty, because all the water stays inside the flushmate, at max pressure. Ours had a leak, and after trying to fix it, we called Pleasant valley plumber. We had hired Mr.Harris previously to fix a rotting pipe, and it went very smoothly, despite theexisting plumbing being very weird due to former owners' DIY-mentality, in spite if their lack of DIY-ability. Based on the past experience, we used Nathaniel again, and he made time to see us (it was not during his typical hours). We were grateful for his prompt, friendly, and honest service. We only have 1 toilet in the house, so when it breaks, things go downhill fast. I'd recommend Pleasant Valley Plumber to all my friends, and I'd also recommend the Sloan Flushmate toilet (which has a lifetime warranty, and flushes with force!). If you want a fair, friendly, and prompt plumber, use Pleasant valley.
