He did not have the experience to do the job and didn't want to promise something he could not do. If I have any other problems I will call them.

I called when we noticed our water heater flooded our laundry room. He responded quickly with a quote of around $700. I called other plumbers in the meantime and they were all more expensive. He came to our house a few hours later and replaced the old water heater with the new very quickly. He was friendly and explained what had happened to my old water heater. My only complaint was that he could not get a more energy efficient water heater. But, I guess beggars can't be choosers when needing same day service. The water heater I did get was an AO Smith, which seems to be a respected brand and is working well so far.

He arrived when he said he would with an assistant. Introduced himself and his assistant. Asked which toilet needed attention and then promptly and very quickly fixed the problem. He then took the time to explain what he had just done. He then proceeded to inspect the rest of the plumbing in the house. He was quick, efficient and very professional. I would definitely hire him again when I have additional work to do this coming spring.

Fine. All went quickly, efficiently, and was done in a polite, professional manner.

It went very well. It is a long process and labor intensive at 545 feet. All things considered they did a great job and best of all showed a real concern for doing the job correctly and to our satisfaction. I think that shows pride in ones craft and is not found to often these days.

I am so glad my wife used Angie's List to find our plumber. On Saturday morning we lost all water to the house and I figured it was our well pump. My wife called Pleasant Valley Plumber around 8am and left a voicemail. Within about 5 minutes, Nate called her back and said he could come to our house within an hour. Sure enough, around 9am Nate came to the house a checked out our water system. He also concluded it was a problem with the well pump. However, he informed me that it could just be a wire connection gone bad or the entire pump would need replacing. Since the pump is already 11 years old he suggested we replace the pump anyway even if it ended up just being a bad wire connection. Since the well is 500 feet deep, most of the cost is the labor to pull out the pump, repair or replace it, then replace the pump back in the well. His reasoning was sound, so I agreed to have him install a new pump, regardless of if the pump itself was bad or not. It ended up needed a new pump anyway so my decision worked out for the best. Within about 5 hours of our original phone call, we had running water again. I was surprised to be able to call a plumber on a Saturday morning, with a large job and have it completed the same day. I am also happy that Pleasant Valley Plumber gave us a $1 per foot "Angie's List" discount on the labor. At 500 feet deep, Nate took $500 off the labor cost (their normal rate is $4 per foot but we got it for $3 per foot with the discount)! I will definitely use Pleasant Valley Plumber in the future and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Called Nate in the evening and he was at my house the first thing in the morning. Water was backed up in my shower stall and increased every time I turned the sink faucet on.he explained to me the steps he would go through to unclog as he went along. he tried chemicals, snake and it wouldn't unclog. he finally had to use an hydraulic tool to get the job done. I was VERY pleased with his determination not only just doing the job but doing the job RIGHT. he cleaned up very well and was very professional in his work and has a very friendly personality. this was the second time I had work done by Nathaniel and I would not hesitate to call him again.

I was not at home the morning that the plumber came; but my daughter-in-law who lives there also was at home. She said he performed exactly what he was supposed to do. He did inform me that a few things that I had on a list of to do's that day or the other day to be scheduled would be a separate fee, and I agreed to that by phone. The work that day cost $105.00 and the work needed for a new appointment will be a water pressure application for the drain or drains,and the approximate fee was stated as $250.00 that is why I'll have to plan to have the work done in a couple of weeks.

Nathan arrived when he said he would , was very courteous and answered all my questions. this is my second time using his services and his prices are very reasonable I would not hesitate to call again with any plumbing issues I have

He was great,very pleasant and professional.he kept in contact with us to let us know exactly what time he would arrive,did a great job on the toilets for a very reasonable price and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend this company.

There was some miscommunication about his coming on Friday, so he came on Saturday at no extra cost. He worked fast (practically ran back and forth to his truck for tools and parts) and efficiently. The faucets are working well, now. He was very pleasant to work with.

I would highly recommend him. He has a whole different type of personality. He's very professional but very friendly conversation-wise. I enjoyed having him here. He was also very good. He did say that because some of our plumbing was a little bit older that we might experience a few problems and that he would come back and take care of it. As a matter of fact, there was a little bit of a drip in one place and he came back and completely took care of it with no charge for that. While he was here, we also decided to ask him to do something else which he did. He didn't charge us anymore than the 39 dollars that he originally quoted to us for the whole first visit. He was very courteous. I trusted him. He really knew what he was doing. He explained it to me so I could understand and I appreciate that.

Nathaniel was very responsive and called me back right away even though it was Sunday. He was flexible to come over to take a look at the well next Saturday and fixed the leak right away. He was very professional and provided a great service. The repair was very reasonably priced as well. Definately am using Pleasant Valley Plumber for all my future well/plumbing/heating needs.

I purchased the faucet, the plumber installed it. His work was very professional, he cleaned up the area when he was done. The faucet works great, no leaks. I would certainly use him again

Everything was done quickly and expertly. Nathaniel showed me what the problems were and how he fixed them. When he came to my home he was on time and even put on paper shoe covers when walking around in my home. He was courteous, friendly and highly professional. Couldn't ask for better!

First time using a service provider listed by AL, it would not be the last. I signed up for Angies's List, but could not pull the trigger , browsing was a daily event, since we just bought a new home not even a year ago, it is an older house and the list of thing to do in never ending. I finally found a deal I could not pass, a big deal, so I bought it. Nathanial called me a few days after to let me know since they are not usually covering the area they would try to wait another week in order to get all of the orders from the same area, he asked me what was the problem and wanted to make sure I felt it was something that could wait another week, it actually was since the day he planned on coming was my day off, maybe I'll learn something. Nathanial called, confirmed and showed up 10 minutes early to his appt. I told him my wife was home with the kids and he could come in but he was there waiting 5 or 10 minuted until I showed up. Didn't want to come in w/o my presence if not necesary. He was quick to fix the issue, answered a million questions, fix another issue, didn't try to upsell any services as he could've , very honest and friendly. Great experience!!!! If you have the opportunity to have him work on your place do yourself a favor and give him a call.

Professional, personable, prompt, efficient, knowledgable, helpful. Highy recommended. This will be our plumber from now on. Nathan performed the work personally, was quick to evaluate the problem, helped us select the faucet that should have been originally installed, ordered the replacement faucet, called when he said he would, arrived when he said he would, was a pleasure to have working in our home, left the work area as neat and clean as he found it. Excellent service.

I have had a defective outside frost free faucet since i bought the house. i spoke with Nathan from Pleasant Valley Plumbing. He showed up at our mutually agreed to time and he investigated the problem. Upon disassembling the faucet he he determined the inside stem had a defective o-ring. He looked the manufacturer on his phone, confirmed his diagnosis by speaking to a manufacturers representative and had a new part shipped immediately. When I received the part (2 days later) Nathan returned and installed it. In summary, he was on time, pleasant to deal with and I enjoyed the experience.

My toilet stopper was not working. He came out immediately and took care of the problem. It was a Saturday.

I received a prompt answer when I dialed the number. I described the service desired and quickly arrived arrived at a scheduled time for the service to be done. The service man called about an hour before arriving to confirm that he would arrive as scheduled. He quickly went to work, heated the solder joint on the broken spigot and removed it. He replaced the spigot and soldered it into place on the copper pipe, tested it and cleaned up. I am pleased with the repair.

Not only did he help me through the phone, he came out very promptly. He was courteous and did great work.
