+ -1 moreAfter attempting to find a contractor or handyman to install a small deck on our house, we were referred to Shick Contracting. Shick responded to our inquiries in a timely manner and was very professional in their proposal and quote. Shick won the business from three other competing contractors. The Shick Contracting team worked through all weather conditions and tolerated my older son tailing them around in the performance of their work. They were polite when they needed him clear of the area to ensure his safety as well as the safety of the workers. All requested documentation was received by me from Shick Contracting prior to the work commencing. Work went smoothly and Shick Contracting was very flexible with our changes to the project. All work was completed on time and to a high quality that met my approval.
Description of Work: Installation of a 10 foot by 12 foot deck elevated approximately 8 feet above the ground. The quote and work included site preparation, digging and installing pilasters, building the deck, installing lights (and switches), exterior outlets, and electrical heaters (in an access way to the deck). Also included were obtaining the permit and cleaning up after the work was completed.
