Description of Work: Needed a new electrical panel. Came right away to check it and schedule it and a few electrical outlets. The panel became an emergency situation and he came on a Saturday to install it. No issues. I paid him immediately upon receipt of his invoice and called him several times but he never returned or scheduled a return for the electrical outlet.

Description of Work: nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!after reading his reviews I gave him a call. he did come over the following day to look at what was needed. then disappeared. several phone calls to him ended with a written estimate that I ok'd and sent back to him. I have never heard from him again.

Description of Work: hired a contractor to do some rewiring. Did not know he was a druggie. Left the work unfinished, and what I did not know was attic flooring all torn up.I found Dicton thru his son. He responded promptly,took care of everything efficiently and even put my flooring back.His rate was reasonable.I do have more work and he is the only electrician I would call.

 + -1 moreI woke up and more than half of the electric in my house was not working (overhead lighting, heat). I wasn't sure if this was due to a storm that came through over night or something more serious. I called Len and explained my situation, expressing concern and confusion and he agreed to come by and take a look. He was there in 20 minutes with another gentleman, checked the box in the basement and ran some tests on the meter outside. It was determined that one of the and quot;phasesand quot; were out and said I would need to call the utility company. Not only did he provide me their number but offered to wait while I called them so that I could explain his diagnosis properly. Though there was nothing else he could do, he said, and quot;You have my cell, so if you need any more help, don't hesitate to call me.and quot; He arrived quickly, worked efficiently, and in my opinion, went the extra mile and I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Checked circuit breaker box and outside electrical meter.

Description of Work: Dicton Electric diagnosed the problem with our swimmimg pool pump and timer within 10 minutes of arrival. He replaced wiring and the timer within a hour. We would definitely hire him again. He really knew what he was doing ! FYI We had another electrician (from angies list) come before Dicton Electric did. He told us we needed a new pump and got very arrogant when we questioned his diagnosis. Upon leaving he bragged about himself and turned his head when I went to shake his hand. We of course had to pay him for his time ($100.00) and obviously will not be calling him again. We will also get more references before we hire anyone from angies list . Ironically, we did not get Dicton Electric from angies list. We found him through a local pool store. He did an excellent job for us !

 + -1 moreLenny Dicton is the owner. He came out last Friday. He's done few factors and he's run lines. He is great. There are no dislikes. He is very good. If it's an emergency, he comes right away. He is very pleasant, experienced and friendly. He was more expensive than it should be.
Description of Work: Dicton Electric did some rewiring for us.
