Joel and his helper were very thorough, fast and went the extra mile. They worked in the blazing heat and communicated with me the day before to make sure everything was on schedule. He will be used if I ever need to move again. Definitely recommended

the mover was very prompt in returning my call, scheduled the move that day, they showed up on time, wrapped the hutch to protect it, and took great care in moving it. I would definitely use them again. Our friend from whose house we moved the hutch needed an old jukebox moved quickly (house sold) and they did a great job moving it. And in both cases the price was very, very reasonable.

I have never had a more pleasant move. Joel was responsive and informative prior to the move. He and crew arrived a little early which was great. All were polite and professional and fun. They arrived in bear creek to find our driveway more like a frozen tundra. They grabbed salt, shovels and boards and worked for an hour to get the truck to the house! They were then sopping wet but there were no complaints and they just kept working..we had some huge and some outrageously heavy pieces that had to go in difficult places...no complaints. .just worked and worked.

They did a great job. Great communication before the move. Showed up on time and were professional thru out the entire process. They hussled and did not drag their feet. The movers were careful with items. A great experience and would Highly recommend.

These guys were excellent. Joel was extremely responsive to every e-mail I sent, often answering me within a few minutes. The date of the scheduled move, there was snow forecast, and they moved their scheduled time up by a few hours so they could get done earlier, which was perfect with me. The guys showed up right on time, worked quickly, and were extremely careful with my items (many of which were made of glass). They got everything finished in a time I didn't think possible, and all while it was snowing out! I have several other items (boxes and such) that need to be moved from my apartment, and I'll be calling these guys for sure! Everything was so stress-free and simple, I couldn't believe it. Excellent job overall!

Plus the cost was reasonable and consitent with the estimate. Moving is usually traumatic and unsettling. Best Darn Movers provide excellent service and deserve our unqualified recommendation. Joel and his workers arrived on time, did an excellent job of handling my belongings, and never stopped working very hard and very carefully. I was impressed that Joel handled all the packing on the truck. The team was friendly, courteous and professional, and never hesitated to honor any and all requests we had to place furniture where we wanted it. Thanks, Joel and your great team!!!!

All went well. They were a little late, but they kept us informed as far as how much longer it would take to before they would be there. My parents were very happy with them.

Excellent company the owner and his employees were really professional and helpful during the whole process. We call at the last minute and got service right away. Moved from a 4 bedrooms home to another 4 bedrooms home with no complaints. The price was reasonable and according to the work performed. I will highly recommended to friends and family.The move was done in record time no items were broken or mishandle.

Joel was a very good communicator and very flexible with helping the move go smoothly. He and his helper were friendly, professional and worked very fast and getting the job done. I would recommend them to anyone.

Seeing as I was only in PA every other weekend, if it were not for Lynn and Michelle, I would have never been ready to move. Two thumbs up for them as well; friendly, efficient and very affordable

We were very happy with the price and speed of the service. The actual move was great and they made our lives very easy. The only very minor hiccup was with putting things back together at the new house, just a couple things that had to be fixed. We were very pleased over all with the experience though and would use Best Darn Movers again in the future and we have already recommended them to others.

Excellent! Easy to contact and set appointment, punctual, fast, very careful with belongings, placed items exactly where they were supposed to go. I had plenty of fragile items, including fine china, dishes, pictures, ect. This move was during the heaviest snow storm of the year, and they everything possible to keep everything dry. During both moves, the only break was one picture frame glass, and I blame myself for how I packed it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I recently used Best Darn Movers because I was moving to a new home. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them. Joel and his crew were very nice, punctual, and overall did a great job. They had me out of my old home and into my new home quickly and efficiently.

The moving staff, Joel and a crew of three, showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. Joel did the initial loading and then the staff did the unload. The staff was well trained and courteous and was concerned about placing the furniture in the proper spots as well as taking extra care with delicate pieces. The price was fair and right on target with the estimate. In follow up, we received an email from Joel the evening of the move asking how the unload went, the first time in our moving history that anyone did follow through.

They called right back when I called. They scheduled us very quickly. They got details of what needed moved, etc. They showed up on time. They were SUCH NICE people! Everything in the whole house was moved quickly and into the new house probably in two hours. They worked very hard and were creative in getting things in and out. They took things apart, moved them then put them back together, the new house was all set up when they were finished. They were really careful in moving. I would really recommend this company!

Movers were 1/2 hour late getting to the apartment, and after numerous phone calls from them they finally arrived. There were 3 movers. All was moved out of apartment A in a timely manner, when all was done we were off to apartment B. We arrived at apartment B, and the movers set up everything as my mother had wanted it. After all was set up my mother paid the bill and the movers left. My mom was arranging her things in her dresser drawers as tghey got shifted from the move. She discovered that a bag with several pieces of good jewely were missing. My mother called one of the movers and stated to them that there were some things missing and that she wanted to talk to the owner. Joel was out of town at that time and got back to my mother the next day. When Joel got back to town he came to my mothers apartment and took out the drawers in the dresser to show my mother where the jewelry could have possibly been. He said it could have came out of drawer and fell in between the divider of the drawers. NO jewelry was found. After Joel left my mother called the police and filed a report for the missing jewelry. Police took the information, and after 1 week they had recovered the jewelry which was stolen and pawned by oe of Joel's workers. Joel never offered an apology to my mother after all was said and done. Would I recommend this company? NO I would not.

Move was smooth and with out any problems. Providers were courteous and personable. Cost was good. We were extremely happy with the service.

Unfortunately ,I could not use the services. But every detail of what I needed was understood, and they were willing to go out of their way to help. My calls and emails were handled with awesome professionalism! I wish I would have been able to use the services to move. Next move I will definitely look them up!

I wish I could give a grade higher than a "A" . I was moving my daughter from one home to another and I can honestly say she did not have all the groundwork done when I arrived. Joel and his team arrived as they said they would and I had more to move than they orginally thought. Joel said " no problem" and they got it done , it was an extremely hot day and they worked very hard and at a very fair price. Nothing was broken, and they didnt leave until every last thing was on place. I have had many a move in my lifetime and this by far was the best. I would highly recommend them for any job.

Our real estate agent recommended BDM and we called them right after our house sold after just one day on the market. Joel was terrific. He came to our house to give us an estimate. He's a very easy going, calm and friendly person and he kept in constant communication with us via email as we waited for all the details of our sale to go through. He gave us a few choices on how we could do the move. We chose to have him get a 26 foot truck and drive it down to AL, then fly back to PA. It worked out perfect. His guys in PA were amazing, very polite and professional. The workmen in AL were also great and unloaded the truck in only 2 hours. The truck was packed floor to ceiling to the very last inch and, aside from a scuff here and there, we had no damage to any of our items. The cost came in under the estimate which was fantastic. I highly recommend Best Darn Movers because they really live up to their name!

BDM's rep was professional, careful and direct. After viewing our belongings and taking into consideration that our move was out of state he informed us promptly that he would not be able to serve us. He was delightful and courteous.

This was by a wide wide margin the best experience I have had with a moving company. Joel and his associates were consummate professionals. They were friendly and very easy-going, but also fast, efficient, and careful. And the price was great! The company name appears to be the truth.
