Everything went well and we were pleased with it.

They are the only company that I would trust to do the removal of this type of tree. It was close to the house and a very large tree. They are the best tree service I have ever had. They are reliable and clean with their work. You can't even tell they were there. They may be a little on the pricey side, but they are worth every penny.

It was an excellent experience. They came when they said that they would come and the work was great and they cleaned up very well. I would recommend them to other people because they did everything for me that they said they would do.

My experience with them was fine. They seem professional.

They were excellent, the men were very professional. We even wrote them a letter telling them how pleased we were with their work. They came back and did additional work for us as well.

I had not moved yet, and never saw Dave personally. But he took care of everything, removing the tree, grinding the remaining trunk and even taking away the concrete.

They put the cable in very high in the tree. The first strong wind cracked the branch off and it fell on our electric wires. When I called Davy, they did not offer to come and take care of the fallen branch.

I was a little unhappy with the communication, but they did a good job. They did an excellent job of the choice of the tree and putting in.

Very good - used Angie's list discount and received another due to the time of year. Very professional and prompt. They were the cheapest of 4 quotes I received.

They were quick to provide an estimate. They scheduled the work within a week of the acceptance of the bid. The trees look good and they cleaned up well.

They did a fabulous job. Scheduling was a little difficult because they needed to work with PECO to have the power turned off temporarily in my neighborhood to safely perform the job. Rich Arnold was really good about following up and getting back to me through that whole process, however. Once the scheduled day was set, everything went like clockwork. The crew showed up on time, removed everything just as planned, and even removed an additional large shrub that had previously been hidden by a couple of the trees that came out. They were very careful around some new mulch beds in the area, to disturb them as little as possible while they worked. They chipped all the trees and foliage they had taken down and completed the job on time (the same day)! I couldn't be happier.

After moving into to an old house where the landscaping had been neglected for probably 20 years, we needed a lot of work done. Dan Seward was very pleasant and knowledgeable. His estimate came in exactly halfway between 2 others we got. They were very prompt, crew worked hard for 2 full days and did an impeccable job with everything.

Did a fine job cutting down the tree. They were looking for a suitable tree to replace the one that was cut down. The person who was looking for the new tree left the company and another person is now looking for the tree. I'm disappointed that I will have to wait until the spring to get the new tree. They are reliable.

Dan Seward came out promptly, but unfortunately I was not home at the time. He left a very favorable estimate to prune and thin very large oak and very large elm, trim and shape hard five very large shrubs (Japanese holly, mature burning bush, spirea, and others out of control), trim and shape large arborvitae hedge and leyland cypress, remove sapling N/C and haul all debris. I had too many estimates by that time or would have hired him. He was very responsive in phone inquiries. Said he would do the job to meet my schedule.

They came and fed the tree and trimmed it. The tree did not make it through however. I don't know that it was their fault.

Outstanding work! A company representative came within one day of our phone call to diagnose the problem (fungal infection in the tree), and a day later, brought a second expert to determine the best way to drop the tree. This was a tough problem because the decay within the trunk made the tree unsafe for climbing and cutting from the top. The tree was over 100 feet tall. Davey discussed a number of options with us. In the end, the tree feel exactly where they (and we) wanted it to fall. Total job including cleanup took about 2 hours. All of Davey's people are experienced and very pleasant to work with. One person even did me the favor of cutting a large poison ivy vine on a neighboring tree, thus killing it and eliminating a major nuisance plant from our yard. This company is a joy to work with.

A very bad storm knocked down one tree right onto our garage, and the other three needed to come down. The last tree was in bad need of pruning and these men did an excellent job of completing the task. They even came back when they said they would to take the rest of the wood.

Job 1: I called on Sat., they were there on Monday morning by 8 a.m. The cost was very reasonable, I thought. And the service was done with a smile. I would use them to remove the rest of the tree, a much bigger job, and recommend them to my neighbors (we all have big, old, dying trees). Job 2: The written estimate they gave me for the removal of the entire tree was half the amount of the estimate I received from another company in my own zip code. They said they would come between 8-9 a.m., and were there on time. They definitely have the right equipment for the job, and well-trained, professional staff. The workers had to remove a piece of my fence to allow the equipment enough access to the tree, and they replaced it when they were finished. Every contact I have had with this company has been nothing but positive.

They were prompt and didn't leave any debris, they cleaned up very well. They forgot and left one and within the week they came back and took that dead one down. I was pleased.

The work was completed in a timely manner. Dan called the day before to arrange the time. The area was left very clean of debris.

They were the only tree company that actually answered the phone after August storms. They came right out and gave me a written estimate. They were understandably busy at this time, so they couldn't schedule work until four weeks later. However, they came when they said they would & were very professional. They actually run like a business, not some guy with a truck.

It was a large cherry tree. They came out promptly and removed the brush and limbs. They said they were unequipped to take the trunk that day and it sat in our back yard for a couple of weeks, until we finally bugged them to come take it.

We live in a beech/oak forest and are always concerned about potential damage from falling branches (or entire trees) that are rotting or dead. We called Davey to survey our yard and give us an estimate. They responded promptly, and provided a written estimate, but recommended that we wait another 2-3 months to have the work done. We apparently are not in imminent danger from falling branches or dying trees, and Davey told us that if we were willing to wait 2-3 months, they would give us a discount. We are very pleased with their service and we plan to complete the work with them at this later time. The wonderful sense of humor of the service person who responded made this chore a pleasure.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO FOR A GREAT PRICE. ALL THE WORK WAS DONE IN ONE DAY. THEY CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS. WE HAD A QUOTE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY FOR TWICE AS MUCH FOR THE SAME WORK. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER. DAVEY DID THE WORK FOR A FAIR PRICE. I FELT LIKE I GOT WORK DONE THE WAY I WANTED, FOR THE RIGHT PRICE.
