John came to house to pick up laptop. He diagnosed the problem and he brought it back repaired in about a week. I thought the charge was very reasonable and his service was excellent.

We opted to purchase a new PC. John provided valuable guidance on specs for the new PC. Once purchased, we again engaged John to perform a professional setup of the new PC, and restore our data. Throughout the entire process, John provided frequent updates. We are VERY happy with the work performed and the end result. John is very polite and professional, flexible, and arrived at our location exactly when promised. We would definitely recommend SquareOne, and will use them again for future PC and technology support needs.

It went well. The desktop pc was a 2007 Dell that came with Windows Vista (which is no longer being fully supported.) I just wanted to be able to use it a few more years since it was an expensive purchase at the time. The gentleman gave me more space by removing programs and files that are no longer needed. He upgraded me just one Windows program newer that allows me to use Google and have support. He added the free antivirus and malware programs. He basically "cleaned it up" so that I don't have to buy a new desktop or laptop. I consider the price well worth it since I am not savvy to be able to do it myself.

John was very responsive to my service call. He picked up my laptop from my home and called me promptly to discuss the remedy for my extremely slow running computer. He was very methodical in his analysis of the problem. He fee was very reasonable. My computer is working better than ever...I am a very satisfied customer. Every time I call him he gets back to me very quickly. He has always been able to fix my computer at a reasonable price' I am very comfortable having him in my home. I am struck by his honesty and I never feel that he is trying to add extra services. I am very happy that I have him as a resource.

Computer works much faster and all looks great so far. John was on time, professional and I think if I have any more tech problems, I will call him in the future.

John was very quick to respond to my email and was available to come to our house almost immediately. He took our computer to his shop and transferred the data to a portable drive. When he returned the equipment, he transferred the date to our new system and set up files for everything including iTunes and photos. We felt that the price that John charged was very fair for the work that was done. We have had no problems at all since the repair.

As for the diagnosis there was good news, no virus or malware, but bad news that the motherboard was rapidly dying. In fact it totally died before I could finish researching and order a new laptop. When I received my new laptop I called John and he came out the next day to install/setup my laptop including retrieving information from the hard drive of my dead laptop. He was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I am very happy with John's work and will definitely call on him for any computer problems in the future.

I am no stranger to PC problems. As an independent contractor, when my PC doesn't work, I am out of business and losing clients. My experiences have been long protracted nightmares which usually resulted in a new PC or hard drive and a massive loss of data. When my PC wouldn't reboot I contacted SquareOne Computer Services. John Stewart contacted me within an hour and was able to pick up the CPU within hours and called me later that afternoon with a diagnosis of extensive malware. He did a complete tune up and removed over 700 incidences of malware. I feel as though I had the full attention of a very skilled technician. He returned my CPU back the next day, better than new. I know I was extremely lucky and I am very pleased. I plan to be more proactive with bi-annual tune ups.

John was prompt, more than competent, and great to deal with. He had great follow up throughout the process. We were pleased and amazed that John was able to restore all of our files. We have already passed his name on to friends with a hearty recommendation.

My personal laptop computer was inoperable, as it could not finish the boot-up sequence. There were two databases on that computer that I needed to transfer to my new computer. One was for a contact management system, and this database was not completely backed up. The other was for a planning system, and this data could be accessed only through an application on the laptop. That planning software has been discontinued, and I needed the laptop operational so that I could extract the planning data. I had two other no-longer used laptops that I intended to recycle, but before I could do that I needed the disks wiped clean so that no sensitive information remained. From the start, John Stewart paid close attention to my priorities: backup first, and then get the laptop working, if that was possible. John picked up the laptop, and the next day he provided me with a backup of the disks. A few days later, John fixed the boot problem. He asked to keep the laptop an extra day for observation. This would help ensure that it would boot when he returned it to me. And so my needs were met. It was great working with John. He communicated with me at just the right level throughout, and the work was completed over a time period that was comfortable for me. John also advised me on a better backup solution for all of my systems at home, and even recycled the hard disks from the other two laptops.

John picked up the computer the day after I called and took it back to his shop, where he cleaned a large accumulation of malware off the hard drive and returned it the next day. He actually made two trips because we had been having intermittent problems getting the computer to turn on and on the first trip it turned on for him every time he tried. The second time John had it in his shop he tried a number of things to troubleshoot the problem so we wouldn't waste money buying a new power switch or power supply if it wasn't necessary. He ultimately determined that it's a problem with the motherboard, but rather than simply telling us to replace the motherboard or buy a new computer, he explained we could avoid the issue by leaving the computer turned on all the time. We'll probably get a new computer at some point, but he gave us a no-cost option that buys us some time. John was prompt, knowledgeable, fair, easy to reach by phone, and really bent over backward to take care of our problem.

I was very pleased with the service provided and will definitely use John again. He was pleasant, informative, and efficient in servicing both of our computers. He removed the virus that completely froze one computer, and substantially improved performance on another computer that was running very slow; all at a reasonable price. John also provided helpful tips and suggestions including actions to help prevent future viruses. I will use him for future computer needs and will recommend him to friends.

It went very well. I have used their services in the past and they are dependable, very competent, reasonably priced and great with tech support. I highly recommend them!

After the hurricane, one of our computers wouldn't turn on. I called SquareOne and received a quick reply. He showed up on time, determined that the PSU wasn't working and offered to replace it with a used one that he had at home. When that still did not work he explained our options. We decided to have him transfer all of the files over to a laptop for future use. Due to the hurricane, our power went out and apparently reset the ISP address on the printer. He figured this out and reconnected the computers to the printer for us. Very happy with his work!

John arrived at my home at the exact set time. When I described to him the services that I required, I added some additional things and he was happy to accommodate me. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about all of the tasks that he preformed but he was also very patient during the training session. I would highly recommend John and will be using him for all of my computer service and training needs in the future!

They can do it remotely. They can advise and install most advanced anti-virus software. They make your computer pretty much double its speed, at least in my case. Also, they can asnwer all questions relating to any software you buy.
