I had an energy assessment done through PECO and then was given a few preferred contractors including this company. I met with Ben and have spent the last 4 months attempting to get a quote on the work we discussed. After following up again today I was informed that they will not send over the estimate. If you want to waste your time and don’t care if someone gets back to you then you have found the right company.

I have lived in my house for two years, and have had problems with rooms that wouldn't get cool in the summer (despite central air conditioning), or stay warm in the winter. I had to move my bedroom after the first summer and winter, and could not comfortably sit for long in my living room. I replaced all my windows with triple paned ones in March 2020, which made little difference. I had PECO do an energy assessment of my home last spring. Home Energy & Comfort was on PECO's list of recommended contractors. I researched them further, and their reviews were impressive. I soon found out why. Gordon Clark, one of the co-owners, and a crew of three to four workers spent two days at my home in early June 2020. To make a long story short, they insulated everywhere that needed it (including the garage which is underneath my living room), air sealed gaps and cracks where needed, sealed up ducts, spray foamed rim and band-joist area, and did air seal blowing tests before and after the work. The team was always polite and respectful, and masked due to the Coronavirus. They protected everywhere they worked with plastic sheets and tarps, and cleaned up well afterward. They also did all the work to submit paperwork for rebates from PECO, and deducted the rebate amounts from my bill rather than have me wait for them. This has honestly been the best money I have invested in my home. The hot days have shown me the vast improvement in energy efficiency. I was able to move my bedroom back to the bigger room in the southwest corner, which is now very comfortable. An added bonus is the reduction of dust in my home. I am very happy I chose Home Energy & Comfort to do the work in my home!

The job went very well. They were careful and diligent and took the time to understand my priorities for the project. They did a great job and worked with me to resolve the small hitches that tend to come up in projects.

Before having the work done our bathroom would be freezing, we would have to run a space heater once the temperatures would get below 40 degrees. Since we had the work done in December 2016, we have not had to use the space heater at all. Our shower line would freeze if the temperature would get into the 20s and so far so good. I was really surprised how the work they did made a huge difference! They were very nice from the introduction meeting to the installation work. I highly recommend them!

Then owners were extremely knowledgeable. The work was completed in an efficient and timely manner. We were running our heat well over 80 degrees just to keep the house warm. After the insulation, now we keep the home at 70-72 degrees. I cant say enough about the service. They were able to fit us in 2 days before Christmas after they seen how cold it was in the home.

WELL DONE! Pleasant and professional men did the work. They were done in one day. Clean up was fantastic. The whole experience was fantastic!

The morning of our appointment, Gordon showed up promptly. Our attic was sealed, our bathroom vent fan was properly vented and our insulation was installed. I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of services provided at our home. The vent for our bathroom was properly installed and I am very happy to finally have a properly functioning vent fan in our bathroom. The insulation in our attic is amazing and we have already noticed a substantial difference in the comfort level in our home. I cannot believe how much warmer our home is...I am quite shocked in the difference.

From the moment Gordon and Ben of Home Energy and Comfort arrived, the entire process was done timely, efficiently, neatly and with minimal disruption to the routine of everyone in the home. Ben and Gordon were a pleasure to have in my home and left the house and outside as clean and neat as they found it. (they had to climb 2 staircases newly carpeted) My home feels noticeably warmer and I would recommend Home Energy and Comfort to anyone needing their services with Two Thumbs up.

First, let me say that Ben and Gordon are really great guys that are a pleasure to do business with. No BS, they don't take you for a ride, they show up when they say they will, give you a fair and honest quote, and stick to it. They were fantastic with scheduling and had 2 different days of the project adjusted to fit my schedule. When doing the attic, they noticed when doing the baffles that there wasn't enough airflow coming in. Gordon went outside, removed some of the soffit siding very carefully, drilled holes, and replaced the venting so you can't even tell anything was done. Instead of me having to coordinate and find someone to come out and do this, Gordon made it easy and didn't add much to the bill; certainly less than a siding contractor would have, and it was much easier. The crew was clean, neat, and answered any questions I had. The house is so much warmer now it is amazing and well worth the money. They got each part of the job done quickly. I've referred them to other friends and they also are very satisfied. I wish I had more work to give them; it is difficult to find a contractor you can trust and who is so responsive.

They were very professional, courteous, punctual and did terrific work. They always cleaned up afterwards and we were very happy. We are planning to use them again in the near future.

I can't say enough how great this company is. They were very affordable but put that aside for a moment they were knowledgeable and enthusiastic, hard working and all around great people. I would recommend them 100% of the time. I am so happy I used Home Energy and Comfort to help make my home more efficient. They went way above and beyond my expectations.
