Work was done quickly. We were not happy with scratches on the steps and they came back and redid the steps

The floors look great. They were in bad shape and in need of a good sanding and refinishing. Ray fit us into his schedule and his crew did a beautiful job on the floors.

It was a disaster. He was always late and the quality of the workmanship was terrible. He caused 2 major leaks in the house destroying 2 ceilings twice. He scratched our hardwood floors and knocked out a fuse to our fishtank. When he was told the electricity was out at the fish tank, he said he knew how it happened, but would come when he was done with dinner. He showed up 2 1/2 hours later when our kids were going to bed. He left all his materials in our garage including sharp items and mixed cement and left for the day. When I returned and called him to tell him he had to move it, he was frustrated because he was nearly home and had dinner plans. I insisted and he finally returned. He made arrangements to start at certain times, but was almost always 1 1/2 to 2 hours late. He would leave in the middle of the job with the door open without notifying us. Sometimes he would be gone for 2 hours or more. The tile work on the wall was ultimately fine, but the floor was uneven. I pointed this out to him and he was angry, but then admitted it was uneven. He "fixed" it in 45 minutes and then asked for the remainder of the bill to be paid. We explained we needed to fix the problems he had caused. The painter had to bring down part of both ceilings he damaged and spent several days patching and painting. We have had to have an electrician work on the thermostat he installed for the radiant heat because it doesn't work and appears it wasn't hooked up correctly. The floor does not get very warm and we may have to have the floor redone. When he was "fixing" the damage in our ceilings he caused, I found him standing on our furniture in dirty work boots and working without a drop cloth. At that point, I told him to leave. Never use this man.
