Description of Work: Our oil fired furnace was humming loudly and failing to cycle on. Ed came within an hour of our no-heat call and had us back online within an hour. Of course, the problem failed to manifest while he was here, but instead of trying to up-sell and replace parts that might be fine, he cleaned and serviced the unit and gave us hints as to what to look for if the problem recurs and told us if the service call didn't fix the problem, he'd be back. Several months later all is fine and no unnecessary replacement parts!

A leak appeared in my oil supply line. I talked to Ed and he dispatched his crew right away to install a new line. The guys went to work and and got the line replaced and the work was well done.

Description of Work: Previous 2 AC service techs pushed hard to sell new systems and quoted ridiculous rates for recharging. Current system is only 7 or 8 years old. E Harvey found a small leak and patched it and recharged refrigerant for very fair price. Will definitely use again.

They are the fairest people I have every found, and will never say you need to replace something if you don't. They will always look for the small cause of a problem and try fixing it first.
