Description of Work: Had a leak in a brand new tile shower. He came in and waterproofed the whole shower and fixed the grout joint where the shower pan meats the cement board. No more leaks!

 + -1 moreThey did a very nice job and were also very nice when I had to reschedule the work on short notice due to an emergency. The tile looked far, far better after their work. The only problem I had was that the grout whitener they applied came off when I wiped the wall with a damp cloth. I called and they then explained that because of the age of the house, what I actually have is cement between the tiles, not grout, and it does not hold the whitening agent well. They came out and redid the part I had wiped off at no charge and told me only to use a dry dust cloth on the walls. It would have been better if they had told me about this in advance, but plumbers working in the house later confirmed that they were correct about the cement.
Description of Work: Cleaned tile and grout in my bathroom (and removed old badly applied grout smeared on tile first.)

 + -1 moreLEE WAS HERE WITH ANOTHER YOUNG MAN AND CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY CLEANED UP VERY NICELY WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE. THEY WERE VERY QUIET AS WELL AND LEFT NO ODOR AND NO MESS. THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. THEY BROUGHT THEIR OWN TOWELS AND COVERED ALL CARPETED AREAS, INCLUDING THE STAIRS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IN THE WORLD! MY BATHROOM ABSOLUTELY SPARKLES! THE PRICE HE GAVE WAS EXCELLENT AND EVEN INCLUDED AN ANGIES LIST DISCOUNT WHICH CAME TO $25 OFF.
Description of Work: THEY RESET 6 NEW TILES AND RE-GROUTED THE ENTIRE WALL AROUND THE TUB AREA. THEY CAULKED, SEALED, AND WATERPROOFED EVERYTHING. LEE MENARD EXPLAINED TO ME THAT OVER A PERIOD OF TIME, AS MY HOUSE SET, IT ACTUALLY SUNK ABOUT 6 INCHES CAUSING BY BATHTUB TO SINK AS WELL. HE RESTRUCTURED THE FLOOR WHICH IS ALSO TILED. THEY EVEN NOTICED THAT MY WALL BY THE SINK HAS SHIFTED AS WELL SO THEY SEALED OF THAT WHOLE AREA WITHOUT ME ASKING AND WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGE.

Description of Work: Re-grouted and cleaned our bathroom tile. It looked like a new room when they were done. We were very happy with the fast, courteous way they handled the job. I would rate them very high.

They answered our calls, showed up on time, gave us an honest bid, did fantastic work, used drop cloths in traffic areas outside of the work areas, cleaned up thoroughly, were very pleasant to deal with, and charged exactly what they bid. Our showers and baths look like new! I am amazed at how clean that they got my tiled areas.
Description of Work: We moved into a house with MAJOR, DISGUSTING mold and mildew in two tile bathrooms. The master shower had black mildew growing behind old silicone caulking, in deep cracks at floor and wall joints, and in the fixtures. The rest of the bathrooms floors and walls had 20+ years accumulation of funk. We tried cleaning the master shower twice with bleach, made little improvement, then called three other companies that advertised tile cleaning. One company started the job and left after an hour, saying the job was too tough. A second company told us to re-grout all of the tile, and then they would return to clean the tile. The rep for the third company was so disgusted that he left without giving an estimate. Lee and Jake from ABE Tile gave us a flat-fee estimate of $450 for the size shower that we had, and $65 an hour to clean and re-caulk the rest of the tile. We scheduled the job, and they did an amazing job! THEY WERE WORTH EVERY PENNY!

 + -1 morePRIOR TO HIS WORKING ON THE TUB, IT WAS LEAKING ONLY WHEN I TOOK A SHOWER OR SPRAYED THE WALL. WHEN HE ARRIVED, THE AREA WAS DRY AND THE TUB WAS NOT LEAKING. AFTER HE DID HIS WORK, WATER BEGAN LEAKING THROUGH THE CEILING INTO THE FLOOR BELOW. EVEN THOUGH I TURNED THE WATER OFF, IT CONTINUES LEAKING. WHEN I CALLED HIM TO TELL HIM ABOUT THE LEAK, HE SAID IT WAS NOT DUE TO ANYTHING HE HAD DONE, BUT WAS BECAUSE OF A PLUMBING PROBLEM. I REMINDED HIM IT WAS NOT LEAKING BEFORE HE DID HIS WORK. ACCORDING TO HIS CONTRACT, HIS WORK IS GUARANTEED, BUT HE REFUSES TO HONOR THE WARRANTY. HE WANTS ME TO CALL A PLUMBER, PAY FOR THE PLUMBER, AND THEN CALL HIM BACK.
Description of Work: MY TUB WAS LEAKING AND I CALLED HIM TO FIND AND REPAIR THE LEAK.
