Terrible. My Mother is blind and he took advantage of this by not completing the work properly. In one house he left much debris, did not even the concrete and dumped and left stones in her front yard. On her other property he was supposed to put the pipes underground but they are sticking out and supported by a string, yes, hanging string! He also attached the new piping to a shattered clay pipe that went to the second floor apartment making it unuseable. Debris was left everywhere, the sink and toilet were not reattached and it was discovered after the service was performed that copper tubing to the furnace for hot water heating and to one of the hot water tanks was missing. Luckily no one was living in the house at the time. He has taken advantage of many families, especially the elderly in East Conemaugh. He is dishonest and should not be recommended.
Description of Work: DO NOT HIre this man or his company. He is dishonest, does not complete the work and has cheated elderly people in East Conemaugh Boro. My mother hired him to do the new sewage system to two homes. He does not complete the work up to code on the inside, leaves a mess when he is finished and will not return to correct problems. He did now complete the work in our but charged for it anyway. There has also been a problem in one of our homes with theft of copper heating tubing to the hot water furnace that was found after he had serviced the basement in a two family home. He would not return phone calls once he got his money, which he asked for upfront to provide a discount....some discount, shoddy work and not co Beware, beware, beware, I don't think you want to pay for this expensive job twice. Hire someone reliable and honest, and that is NOT Matt Sellers.

He never came back to finish his work. He left the place a wreck and chewed up the lawn with the backhoe so that it makes it hard for me to walk in my yard. My son did call him in May he said he knew the job was unfinished and he was planning on coming back in a couple weeks.
Description of Work: The township said that everyone had to had their sewers lines pressure tested and mine didn't pass the test. Sellers dug it up and laid the pipe and poured the dirt in.

This is very frustrating and heartbreaking to us. After spending over $14,000 between remodeling our basement and paying Matt Sellers for his services we have been told that we may need to add a new french drain in our basement among other things to clean up Matt's mess. In order to install a new french drain the brand new bathroom we just had put in will have to be dug up which causes us to lose even more money. It has been the worst experience with a contractor that we have ever endured. We feel completely taken advantage of and let down by him in so many ways. Do not let this man take advantage of you. Watch out!
Description of Work: We hired Matt Sellers to replace sewer lines when we purchased our first house. He dug a hole in our yard and said that the ground needed to settle and he would come back and level it out. The very next year we remodeled our basement and hired him once again to put in a french drain. When we hired him the second time he told us he would level out the dirt that was torn up last year and level everything out that he had to dig up for the french drain. He charged us 200.00 dollars more than what he originally said it would cost. He spent less than 3 hrs at the house installing this french drain and once again used the excuse that the ground needed to settle and he would be back to level everything out. After several attempts to reach him, he answered and said he would come out the next day. He never showed. Then, all of a sudden, now everytime it rains water seeps into my brand new basement. We called him over 20 times and have never gotten him to show up and fix the problem. We finally decided to have a consultation with 3 other plumbing/sewage companies who told us that Matt did not do either job correctly and that is the reason the basement is still flooding. Also our front and back yard looks like a terrible mess and gets flooded everytime it rains to the point where it is flooding the neighbor's yard behind us and they have threatened to sue us. All three contractors have said that he didnt dig deep enough to install the french drain properly and when he replaced the sewage lines he did not add anything to stop the water from backing up into our basement. On top of all that he ruined our beautifully landscaped yards, front and back, to not even get the job done the right way and costing us some more money to hire a landscaper as well. Now we have to pay someone else to fix all of his mistakes after we already paid Matt. We have since found out that we are not the only victims of Matt Sellers. There are many more.
